Hi Suede, would you consider going a bit more slowly through the “wonder completed” popups and the herald messages - maybe reading part of the message aloud e g just “most advanced/powerful civ is currently X”. If you are watching live it can be difficult to catch it all when you are not the trained fast MP player, like yourself and the popup is there for about 1 second 😅 Just a small suggestion Also, I DO enjoy you taking your time to carefully consider the first plant - it is those details that makes you standout 👍
Hey, I have seen your 101 tips video and in there you mentioned that one cannot get a great person if they already got one- which applies to great generals, but you admitted you are not sure about great scientists. Well guess what! I was playing yesterday and I got a great scientist and i didnt use him bcs, I saved him to use for Theory of Eveolution and before i got to Scientific Method, got a 2nd one! So I was able to pull off superb combo of Theory of evolution hurried by GS into Hoover's Dam hurried by the 2nd GS. I just wanted to share that with you in case you still werent sure about GS Cheers!
Btw I recently realised that if you demand things from the AI to the degree that they're furious with you, they'll (always?) declare war if you try to kick them out of your land 🫡 a bit cheeky/cheesy but hey

Yes, that should have been appended in the comments IIRC. Thanks for confirmation though!
3:00:00 I Was just playing (the OG CivIII) the other day, and the AI did the 'remove troops' and still declared war, so don't feel bad when you do :)
Also, how did the Dutch manage to plant Haarlem on the island? Unless they had the lighthouse wouldn't that be out of reach for galleys?
I'm more worried about taking a diplo penalty? But yeah, screw them.
The Great Lighthouse was in Amsterdam

Great way to cancel gold per turn payments to the AI :)
