  • This is the first full test drive with the nashorn and the new tracks that we have installed recently. If you are interested in buying a set of these new tracks then pleas send me an email. KPLfoxtrot@gmail.com
    The rattling noise you hear when we turn are the tracks hitting a fender support due to the loss of tension in the tracks. This was because i only tightened the nuts by hand.
    If you want to know anything or have an suggestion let me know down in the comments and i will get back to you ASAP.

    For those whose reading this. Fun fact this was one of the only tanks that ever knocked out the newly deployed pershing. It was sitting hulldown and destroyed a pershing. There was onmy 20 pershing that was deployed before the war end and they one got destroyed by a Nashorn which was also rare to see on the western front.
    So it's an honor to see this tabk restored to working order.

    Rob, I have been following you for the past year through COVID. You are an inspiration through those difficult times. Achieving the goal, step by step, from disaster for your team, and see the only RUNNING Nashorn in the world driving around brings tears to my eyes. The engine selection for this machine is perfect, it is what I was expected to ear. I will certainly attempt to go to Militrack to see the Nashorn, and luckily to meet you in person. For you and your team, I have a great respect.

Ich baue gerade ein Nashorn in 1:35 und ich bin Dir sehr dankbar für das Hochladen der Videos. Ganz große Klasse, was Du da machst! Ich habe sofort abonniert. Mooie beelden!
    Ik vond met name het 'achter het voertuig aanrennen'' , (gezien als infanterist) geweldig: Spielberg gaat jullle bellen! ;-)
    Ook goud voor modelbouwers: slack van de rupsen, hoe staan de luiken, hoe zit/staat bemanning op voertuig en hoe de modder het voertuig tekent.
    chapeau!

    • @leonkrouwel1878
      @leonkrouwel1878 2 роки тому +2

      en ja, de spatschermen aan de voorkant hadden wat 'last', maar dat maakt het m.i. juist mooi, of authentiek: dat geeft aan - denk ik - dat de voertuigen er 80 jaar geleden ook 'last' van hadden.

    It is great to see the only Nashorn going around the forest with a great sound! I do have a dumb question: is the engine underpowered or the gearbox has the wrong ratio? Because it seems to have difficulty to climb on certain slopes and has no difficulties on other places. Perhaps because you keep the engine running with too low rpm sometimes? Just guessing but nevertheless you did a wonderful job, congratulations 👍👍👍👍
