- Rare German Tank Hunter loading on trailer! (Nashorn) - Today we have a rare Nashorn tank. There are only three Nashorn tanks left on this world. This Nashorn has almost been lost in a fire, but Robbie and his team have been working many years to restore this rare german tank.

What I love about dutch channels is, that I as a German dont even need subtitles and can understand almost everything without any problem
i dont lol
Is that why Deutschland means land of the Dutch?
That works both ways ofc
@@PeteCourtierI still don’t know where people got that information from…
@@PeteCourtierBecause of course that’s absolutely wrong.
Who would have thought Milo to get involved with some of the most rarest & popular tanks out there... i see this going places. lol
I thought for a second Milo bought a Nashorn to his collection 😅
That be cool
ha, i think he's running out of storage space for all his vehicles.
that would be too expensive, more expensive then the t-55 even because of the rarity, its hard to find ww2 german tank these day. even the abundant M4 sherman could cost 200k-300k USD in restored condition.
@@superknightlol nashorn would go for 10-20million maybe more
Burnt down workshop eh? Now where did I heard that before...
Dutch barn burnings .....shtop smoooking dat stoooffff !
@@guyk2260 haha, i don't know what happened to the workshop they were restoring the Nashorn in, but Milo's old workshop burned down after someone (who wasn't part of the Mastermilo crew) was welding, a spark got on something flamable and the fire spread very fast, destroying the building.
Oh, and must of us Dutch don't smoke that shit you're talking about.
@@destructionnl8165 true, for the weed you gotta go to amsterdam
@@destructionnl8165 Only intended as humour my Dutch friend, although you've actually seen one of Milos videos ? "No Fireworks no problem" , he's stone cold sober yeah.... sure :) PS I thought the story on Milo's workshop in his video was that mysteriously went up in flames when no one was there , although that was some years ago . I follow the Nashorn boys as well but can't remember why theirs went up without looking back
@@guyk2260 The building that housed Milo's previous workshop wasn't owned by Milo, he rented it from Luud, who had also rented parts of the building to others. And one of those other people accidently caused the fire while welding something. Noone from the Mastermilo crew was there when it happened, that's right.
Oh and yes, i've been a fan of the channel since 2007 or something, i know how crazy the guys are, that's why i subscribed to their channel in the first place :D
Five Shermans and seven T-34s disliked this video.
very nice😆
Lol
Sad Nashorn nosies
I as I was commenting I was kill by an Nashorn
Awesome response!! :)
These guys have put blood, sweat an tears into this restoration. Show them some love and buy some merch. It's much appreciated 🙂
Thanks Sera
Id buy some but I aint speakin spanish
@@a4yster no problem. The Nashorn guys all speak perfectly good English. You can see lots more on their channel and Facebook page.
I've never known that there is a Nashorn in such good condition on his own tracks
restored?
Puike bak geworden
the drivers head is well camouflaged too.
It is rare for multiple reasons
1) they made very few
2) most surviving German armor was scrapped at the end of the war
3) it could not outrun an allied tank
could outgun allied tank with its 88 that have 230mm of pen.
It doesn't have to outrun allied tanks.
It has got the best gun of WW II mounted on it. 😉
@@superknightlol sd2?
@@alwaysbvb2937 thats not the best gun of ww2, not by a long way

Tank traps in the woods, the museum has thought of, and prepared for everything!
wow, what a piece of history. thank you for sharing this with the world.
You should come to The Tank Museum in Dorset in the UK! They have the only running Tiger 1 tank in the world! Many other awesome tanks and machines too, many of which run
We already where invited last year but unfortunately covid happened. perhaps this year
@@jackofalltrades164 Yeah I was meant to be going to TankFest last year too, hopefully this year it’s on!
@@mmm365 Yes! Not too far, about half an hour down the road at Bovington!
Oooooh, I never knew there was actually a running Nashorn, as open-top SPGs and or tankdestroyers are usually underappreciated and thus don't get as much attention. I remember when I visited Arsenalen, the swedish tank museum, I was glued to the Jagdpanzer 38(t) they had there, but then I saw a Marder II, and since I could look into it, I was even more glued to it, as I could see the 75mm Pak 40. Great stuff.
So good to see the progress on the nashorn, must have been devastating after the fire, great work guys
At 4:34 it is very dangerous to guide a tank from the ground while walking backwards, you may trip on an obstacle you can't see, fall, and be run over by the tank whose crew has a restricted field of vision.
I was witness to such an accident during my service in the IDF.
I always was in direct sight contact with the guide and if i would not have i would have stopped because indeed it's dangerous. had a cameraguy once it in front of a driving sherman. he signaled to me to drive but i told the guide to make him go away.
They made great progress since I saw that Nashorn back in 2019 at the Militracks event
The Dutch language is fun to listen to. I feel like I'm right on the edge of understanding them, even though I'm actually not most of the time. 😆
It's nice to see german tanks being restored to working order, thank you for sharing this!
Beautiful! Looks "showroom" - hardly any surface pitting you see on most older tanks.
Love the Nashorn! Glad to see it up and running!
the sounds of tank tracks are so badass !
Awesome video and THANKS for the translation below! :) Man that engine sounds SWEET!!
you netherland got a very nice language greetings from germany (saxony)
Great fun - thanks guys!
Great video as these German tank hunting armoured vehicles are now quite rare. Its in great condition. Thanks for sharing.
This thing destroyed a Pershing from kilometers away, nice!!
hebben ze hem toch af gekregen, fantastisch!!!
Awesome! Great upload
Those Long 88's are OP
Wow ,spectacular lads
Cool tank destroyer. It's interesting seeing it strapped down with straps, here in the US chains are ubiquitous for heavy loads.
Nice work gentlemen!
What a great looking machine!!
The on-board sounds are so cool.
Super vet!
Amazing machine!
Magnifique !
Best vet ding! Ik heb hem zien binnenkomen!
Dit is echt episch! Lekker bezig mannen. Super tof om te zien :)
Interesting vid. Thanks for posting.
Wonderful Nashorn
Great to see the Phoenix back from the flames.
Beautiful tank, guys!
I was waiting for the guys to run into the Nashorn crew eventually
Glad it has English subtitles
The Nashorn (Rhino) was equipped with the most powerful gun of WW2 the 88MM Pak 41/43 Scheunentor (Barn Door) 1 even took out a M-26 Pershing tank near the end of the war
Awesome!
Got some dirt in the tracks. Hell yeah!
Já joguei muito com esse tanque no jogo World of Tanks é muito bom ver um rodando no mundo real.
AWESOME
Super 👍
What a beast!
Super gaaf die Duitse tanks! wo2 spul
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT WORK !!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
lekker mannen!
He da's Overloon!
Despite its armoured shortcomings, this is a great machine. I've built a scale model of one and it was very difficult.
Nashorns are indeed threatened with extinction
Duitse kwaliteit
2:44 that man's head floating on top of trailer 😄
Nice Nashorn
gaaf!
gefeliciteerd met jullie 15 jaar jubileum
Mooi ding
Mooi
gaaf man
nice panzer!
Overloon is echt een prachtig museum. Zeker de moeite!
Nice small Cabrio ...always right of way...
A Pak 43 can really spoil your day.
Thank goodness it was someone else's, though you'd bought another tank for hooning about in... :P
EPIC
Neat!
very cool
@mastermilo when was the fire of the original restoration, seem to remember it on your channel a few years ago right?
u can bully other tanks on battleraiting 5.3 with this thing but often u get bullyed by planes when u use it :(
Getsiederrie wat gaaf!
I love the 88mm gun!
Cooles Video! Danke fürs zeigen! Grüße aus Deutschland von den Goldsuchern!
At this rate in the near future Milo will have enough tanks to create a second tank battalion for the Dutch army.
You realize this isn't Milo's vehicle, right? He just visited the place that restores them and made a quick video about it because he was interested I think.
It would be the first, in this pathetic country.
Ivan Requena. Argentina.
Was eine Schönheit : D
Yes why are you asking ?
Awesome restoration, now the big question...is the Pak 43 fully operational?
Big boys have big toys!
Great restoration job!
I sure would like to have that to drive around our mountains here!
How much do you think it would cost to ship it to Grindstone Mountains, Virginia in the USA.? Haha!
Love your videos even if I can't understand them but I can translate fun! Take care!
probably like 10k
@@jackofalltrades164 well, I have only to save $999.50 and I can get it!
Restore it again? It's looks pretty well restored to me!
Good tank
My grandfather was in this Tank in norway!
mooi spul
