  • The last running Nashorn in the world! It's a tremendous project to bring the "Phoenix" back to life and keep it running. Check out how the team has done it!
Special thanks to Mr. Van Sambeek for his time and for his footage. This is a very special project that I'm proud to assist, in the areas of fundraising and promotion specifically. Keep up!

I was saddened when I heard that the Nashorn was burned in a fire accident but now, I'm quite happy that all of these people put in their efforts and time to restore the Nashorn once more. Incredible team

Man, after seing your video here, I've been dreaming Nashorn the entire night, and especially the fire part was a nasty part of the nightmare, except you experienced it for real!!!

A fascinating project. It was distressing to me to see the damage done in the fire but am happy to see that it hasn't stopped the project. I trust that you, young Sofi will provide us with additional updates and a video when this project has reached the point where the vehicle is truly mobile again. I'm old enough to know that projects like this are never truly 'complete,' there is always something more to be done to add to the authenticity of the project whether the project is a car, locomotive, ship or 'tank.'
Thank you Mr. Van Sambeek for these looks into the hard work you and your team are doing. All the best.

The Nashorn is my favourite German WW2 Tank Destroyer.
    A monumental restoration effort.
I remember hearing about the fire a month or so afterwards....such a tragedy to have lost so much work progress & equipment... & almost the whole vehicle.
Thankfully they've recovered & are getting her close to the finish line.

My favorite in WOT is the t-40 but the Nash was an easy grind. Love the history involved with all the tanks, people lately seem to have forgotten their history, therefore we may be doomed to repeat it. Happy to see our historian reporting is as eye catching as what she is reporting on. Thank you for your efforts ma'am👍😘

Yeah that return roller rubber model took quite a while to create and to get right. I had to measure everything off of an original manually with callipers and radius gauges etc., and there was no current font close enough to the original so I sketched up all of the lettering, numbers and logos as well from scratch.
It took me maybe 50 hours plus to perfect that model from the original to my satisfaction, and is close overall to within 2 or 3mm to the original max error, so hopefully Robby is happy with it since I didn’t fine tune the model for 3D printing (like by not adding corner rounds on the lettering etc.)
You should also do something like this for the Flakpanzer once we get work up and running again, not much has changed over the past year but it should be interesting none the less to get an update from us on how the Flakpanzer is doing, nice video as always
