The OG for sure. I got it on release for PC, and it was revolutionary for the time. I had never played an fps that required pre-planning and tactics until then, and it added so much depth to a (at the time) traditionally shallow genre.

Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield is probably my favorite shooter of all time. Underrated I think and way ahead of it's time with some mechanics like limping and bleeding while injured. Also you would make more noise while walking. You couldn't run as well while wounded. Awesome customization with the weapons and gear as well.

While I'm aware the first Splinter Cell is why the third exists, that doesn't necessarily make it "better." I played both on the Xbox, and game three is definingly more refined. It not only looks better, but a lot of mechanics and little things where improved all around. And while the PS2 version of the original took a visual hit, it similarly ironed out the mechanics and controls of the original. That exclusive level is actually pretty damn sweet too!
Chaos Theory is still a fantastic stealth game and vastly superior to any other entry in the franchise. The original may have paved the way for Chaos Theory, but as you say, that doesn't mean it's better.

For me personally, SC Conviction is my number 1. The graphics were phenomenal, the mechanics were 😮all incredibly satisfying, and there was enough stealth still in there for it to feel true blue. Comfortably, top 5 most replayed games of the 360 era for me.

I wish Ubisoft would return to mission based Ghost Recon games in the style of the original GR and GR2 on PC or at least return to soemthing like GRAW but it will never happen. Feels like there is a big hole where once were tactical first and third person singleplayer games that are not milsim but also not full on arcade.
Not happening unfortunately. The only company more stubborn and greedy than Ubisoft at this point is WBDiscovery. Companies are no longer content in making us pay once for a complete game.

I feel like it was maybe a bit unfair to rate the PS2 and GC Splinter Cell games as a separate entry but not any of the three sequels released in the 6th gen. Like the GC versions had no multiplayer and the PS2 versions had badly compromised multiplayer. Combined with significant visual cutbacks compared to the Xbox and PC and you get versions that were not really the same game. EDIT: Actually overall I am shocked that the GameCube versions were not separated into their own entries in all cases. These were titles focused on online multiplayer and the GameCube versions had no online multiplayer. They were missing half or more of the experience.

@abdultariq3457 I downloaded both the PC and PS2 versions (PCSX2) of Chaos Theory. While the PC version looks much better, there are some things missing from it. The PS2 version had for example, a small pond where you could hide the bodies in the beginning of the game while on PC the area was just a concrete floor. I am sure there are more different things when I progress further.

GRAW 2 was such a glow up, GRAW was awful, couldn't make it past mission 3 due to boredom, GRAW 2 came with a 360 bundle upon buying a replacement 360 due to RROD and having fuck all else to do, put it on and played it to completion in 1 sitting. Tried the original again right after and still hated it. Would kill for a remaster of the 2 where they fix the first and just upgrade the visuals of the 2nd lol

All this video did was infuriate me at various points because reviewers are just neanderthals. Athena Sword got significantly worse scores than Rainbow Six 3 because it was too similar in gameplay.... It was an expansion to it. I understand the point, but allowing poor ports to bring down a game's total score, and therefore lower on the list, is really not a good way to do this. If a port specifically is worse than the others, then it should have it's own spot, regardless if "the game is essentially the same". Multiple times did a game get put lower on the list because "Sony messed up" (which isn't even true, Sony had jack to do with the ports), which I think is unfair to the point of a list like this.
I am genuinely shocked you guys listed Ghost Recon: Island Thunder as a PS2 game. There was never a release of it on PS2. That is why Jungle Storm had all of Island Thunder's campaign in it. Usually you guys have really accurate info but this is a pretty massive error.

The only ones still really worth playing now are the splinter cell series. Also ghost recon wildlands is very fun with the freind or two. Although it's actually OK singleplayer for a bit aswell.

ive said it before and ill say it again, 3DS Chaos Theory is honestly really solid. some dumbed down levels and AI didnt ruin it.
The levels weren't even dumbed down for the port, Splinter Cell 3D is basically a port of the PS2 version of Chaos Theory.

Any game that’s still as active as it is this long after release cannot be ranked that low. It’s gotten worse since release, but it’s still a solid shooter
@@bohowlerson4959 solid shooter is beyond a push. Back in the day it most certainly was a *good* shooter but year 4 was the last time it ever was close to greatness

Breakpoint is not that bad. Don't get me wrong it's not great but it shouldn't be that low on the list.
