Video on the Brotherhoods Lore Developments next? Also I’m very certain that the new Clerics =/= Scribes. Yes they wear Robes but they don’t seem to do any Engineering or Science, rather spirituality and leadership. Along with more nefarious things…
@@bradynhopkins3580 Enclave are the remenants of the American government but are hell bent on "Purity". Have been one of the longest factions/army's in fallout. The institute are their own faction not anything to do with the Enclave. The enclave would probably slaughter the institute and hijack their technology.
No worries, in the next Fallout the new vault dweller will have to finally face the Enclave again in a decisive battle while looking for a lost family member. Lucky the Brotherhood of steel will help providing the T-63 power armor that entered service just 58 seconds before the bomb dropped. Worst case scenario the next vault dweller in Fallout 6 will surely teach the enclave a lesson while looking for a lost family member, the T-64 power armor that entered service 57 seconds before the bombs dropped provided by the brotherhood of steel will surely cut it! The only details we know right now, the quest will be notified by logging in game and will mark the spot where to shoot (right after breaking mods). Excitement awaits!
I like how the Enclave orginally went into the commonwealth to recover a set of their power armor and their weapons but in the process they lose even more power armor sets and weapons and then they just give up lol.
The whole premise of them showing up is basically totally stupid aside from them wanting to scout out new bases of operations. The Enclave lost in the Capital Wasteland, so their numbers took a heavy toll. What are they doing? Sending out valuable manpower to retrieve weapons and Armor which will not make any difference...
It'll start no matter what with it telling you to check out a caravans last known location, the squads get sent if you have their tech. I use it to get extra hellfire armor to either sell or kit danse out with
I'm hoarding their power armor. Keeping their 3 outposts active so I can farm their equipment. I now have their turrets guarding my settlements. Edit: I also gave Danse my secondary Tesla Cannon. The other is on display in my locked home.
Pro tip, you can destroy the PA pieces while the dead enclave soldiers are still wearing them, because the fully destroyed items have zero carry weight so you don't get over encumbered. Then just bring them back to your main base and repair them before putting them on a frame or storing them. This is also relevant for cleaning up after the Battle of Bunker Hill with all the dead Brotherhood soldiers if you want a bunch of T-60.
@markricheard1870 as long as you put them in a container that doesn't refill with loot. So either put them in the settlement workshop or a container you built
They have to respect BoS as they are the only faction that is an actual threat to them. The Institute could also be a threat but i could see them teaming up tbh. BoS & The Enclave are very alike, the most noticeable example is that they are both Highly Technological Isolationist Military Orgs. The BoS we meet in Fo4 seems to have taken alot of ideas from The Enclave but unlike them they take in new members.
The consistency of the lore here is nice since the Enclave searching for Fusion Cores is nothing new, despite their absence from FO3 - former Lieutenant Brian Richter explains he was sent to retrieve them from a disposal facility, a mission that went wrong. He ended up as Grand Zealot in Far Harbor.
"Soldier? what's going on up there?" "Colonel! they're using- PIGS?!?!" The supposed Advanced Power Armor MK II, and it more powerful variant, with trained soldiers with HIs, Plasma guns, Tesla Canons and all... get's wiped with a few piggy banks and a jury-rigged grenade launcher
The Enclave ambush is dependent on whether you’ve done the other quests or not. For instance looting the Hellfire power armor first will make the Enclave ambush you to retrieve the armor, also the ambush can happen in many different places not just near the skylanes crash site. I’m not sure what would happen if you approach without having pilfered any of their tech but it may lead to an easier encounter due to not getting ambushed.
I can tell you that even after you done the entire quest you will still get hunted down , i walked away from sanctuary like a ingame week after the mission and i encountred them at the entrance of sanctuary straight away as if they were about to attack my camp but choose to hunt me down as i came out ... now i dont know if they actually do settlement attacks but for sure they keep hunting you so basicly youll recieve PA endlessly
I actually got ambushed in that upper room with the first power armor in the Museum of Freedom!! Extremely difficult fight. Thank god I was already wearing Enclave Power Armor but being stuck in such a small space with a Incinerator is not a good time. I had to spam use chems and stimpaja to kill them!!
The quest when I did it skipped me straight to the bridge by Saugus Ironworks, can confirm that they jump you even if you don’t have any of the Enclave armor/weapons beforehand. It reads off whether you had completed the quests or not, and since i accidentally completed the one for Hellfire armor (the man died to a bear before i could even find him), thats what showed up in the note. I then got a set of Hellfire Mk IV and X-02 Mk VI off the dead Enclave.
For me the quest becomes active when I cross the bridge near Saugus ironworks. I'm told to follow the bloodstains, and that leads me to one of their outposts. When I first did this, I was at level 64 with a maxed out Overseer's Guardian, maxed plasma rifle, and two-shot maxed Gauss rifle. They never knew what hit them. At lower level they would be truly formidable. BTW: anyone else noticed that the Overseer's Guardian's accuracy has been nerfed? I have high points in perception but firing 5 VATS shots at point blank range and all of them missing is just wrong. Also, if I hit someone in VATS the damage is much less than if I just aim and shoot.
@@UteChewb the damage dropoff i also noticed on other weapons in vats not just that one could it have something to do with your hit chance ? I need to look at it again its hard to remember how it actually worked last played it years ago .... my encounter was early at level 25 but i already had the t60 brotherhood armor and rightious authority and les fusille terrible a pretty good automatic shotgun and a solar cannon it was quite hard and thought i would get my ass handed to me in echoes of the past but by that time i had ada with me and she was quite wel equiped to deal with the enclave soldiers she knocked off pieces of PA wich gave me areas to shoot at
Surprising the player in the beginning despite their perception works well for the story. The lone survivor would have no knowledge of the enclave at all, or the knowledge that they'd been wiped out by a vault dweller from the capital wasteland. They certainly wouldn't expect a fully equipped strike team in mk3 enclave PA. I actually like it when it makes sense
Sort of like a reminder that despite your build, and much like real life, you can always be caught off guard or there could always be an opponent that outclasses you even as the "main character"
I not so sure what Nate/Nora knows, all we know is that they had a place in vault 111 because of Nate's service. I don't see that a normal service vet would have a free place in a vault. All I am saying is that Nate or Nora could've known a hell of a lot more about the pre war situation than what we've been told.
I don't need to know someone's identity in order to realize I'm being stalked...especially when said people are stomping around wearing half ton power armor and wielding bright glowy plasma weapons. Stop making excuses for shitty game mechanics.
@@seanwaller5241 It would be impossible for nate to know of them, especially since they were the highest rank in the government and were extremely classified as well as the fact that X01 and beyond were made post war (T-60 as well)
In the Messages Redacted could be Enclave High Command that was mention in 3 Broken Steel but we never actually seen it, implying out there could be a strong presence still. the guide of 3 also speak of Enclave High Command saying they were outside the Capital wasteland.
And nothing more. and not even mentioning remnants scattered also in Mojave. five recruitable Enclave veterans who would either side with NCR (required for Mr. House or Yes Man Endings) or the Legion.
Yup honestly all new quest from next gen make the gams hard, and if you new to fallout 4 you will think that tutorial mission which trap you to fight many overpowered enemies at infinite sudden ambush event.
@@ryanmalik3378Luckily there are a few mods, at least for PC, that delay the quests until you reach a certain level. It sucks that modders have to cover for Bethesda again, but at this point modding is practically a core part of the Bethesda experience.
The Enclave's location (and possibly last headquarters) is either Mount Weather or the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, or they both *still* have the same locations assuming if they didn't waste manpower or resources. Either way, both facilities can serve as last command centers for the Enclave.
@@killerwolf2603 Yes, the White Springs Bunker can also serve as a headquarters for the Enclave, but Fallout 76 takes place in 2102, and the message from this *Redacted* fella (possibly or maybe Enclave High Command) takes place in 2287, which Fallout 4 takes place. So I don't think the White Springs Bunker can be the Enclave's last headquarters, given how it got taken over by a Rogue AI.
Chicago & MacArthur Army Base are two known bases. But i think they are also in Alaska and maybe other places we havent seen like Florida. Clearly survivors of Ravenrock and Adams Airforce Base regrouped and seem to have come in contact with the new High Command and they have a base somewhere near Boston. Id say its no larger than 1/5 of Ravenrock but still several houndred members near Boston.
@@svampen7782 Ah yes! I forgot that canonically, the Enclave also has a presence in Chicago. And I agree that they probably *have* a command center in Alaska.
@@TiberiusClaudiusMarcus I have an idea for Fallout: Alaska. Id have The Immortal on his northern expedition with his BoS and id have some native american tribe and a secret ending u need to do some stuff and u can get the Enclave.
i and many many fans im sure watch/ listen to you to while they fall asleep. Not a insult, just the best theatre of the best games of all time. Much love Ox.
Real. Back then when I was sick I use to binge listen to his videos while resting. Now I know random lore facts about Fallout because of those sick days lol.
In my game I was ambushed at Watt's Consumer Electronics with a note saying the Enclave was after the X-02 Power Armor I had acquired. As always, your videos are very detailed Oxhorn. Thank you!
I just ran into the Enclave ambush, right after I had beaten Pyro and taken his Hellfire armour. Macreedy and I were on our way to the bunker up north for the Paladin Brandis quest and they jumped us. They had a holotape saying that I needed to die because I had come into possession of their special secret armour.. pretty stupid to send me a second set if they didnt want me having the first but I cant complain 😅
I was in the middle of escorting liberty prime to the Institute and the enclave jumped me I killed them and took their shit but I got over my carry weight so I had to stash everything into a trash can for retrieval later
you got lucky in my game one of the enclave solders in the camp under underpass spawn as a legendary enemies wearing full set of mark 4 X-02 power armor and wielding a Explosive mini-gun!
Me who got the makeshift weapons quest done first, hey I want you to meet my little friend (penetrating grenade rifle/flakker, piggy fatman, nail gun, etc
It could be Chicago if the enclave doesn't have a surviving chain of command further east, in fallout New Vegas ED-E has a recorded message during the ED-E My Love quest from a technician instructing any Enclave personnel at a Chicago base that if they should come across ED-E during his journey west to Navarro they should help him onwards in that direction.
@@spartanalex9006 It's partly canon, according to Todd and other staff they take bits and pieces and recycle them for other projects like Fallout 4 or the Fallout TV show.
I just finished the America Rising 2 mod, it’s amazing, you can either choose to destroy the Enclave or help them rebuild and ultimately take over the Commonwealth, it’s not lore breaking and integrates into the story pretty well. In my play through Nate helped them take out the Brotherhood and Railroad, but left the Institute intact under Enclave control, plus Enclave encampments spawn in certain areas of the map, useful if you need supplies, rest ,or to repair your power armor. They also spawn in Diamond City which is pretty cool.
@@ElyseonLove the misinformation, may I inform you that Colonel Autumn wished to create a friendly Relationship with the People of the Capital Wasteland by using the Purifer for it's intended Purpose?
This is going to be creating canon arguments for years. Creation Club are fan-made mods, but since they are a mandatory download now, should they be considered DLC-like canon, i.e. that the east coast Enclave is still quite active and invaded the Commonwealth? Also, I hope whomever originally created these CC mods got a big check from Bethesda.
There really isn't much argument about it, because these Creations are carefully selected for a reason by Bethesda. They're both lore-friendly and tie into the story perfectly. Heck, some Skyrim CC content is already considered canon.
Eh, it's not too big of an issue as long as it's explained well enough. Since these free creations are things you get right off the bat, they want to canonize it. Obviously stuff like the doom gun or the prey suit isn't lore friendly or canon.
I have a sneaking suspicion they introduced the enclave into the base game due to the influx of new players coming from the show, and that they plan on bringing the enclave into the show sometime soon and want more brand recognition for them
"A misguided soldier, [DECEASED], traded the weapon for rations. The soldier has been proportionally punished." I find it really funny how the Enclave is just killing people.
What i like is that we never know for sure but I'm sad there was never any kind of note or holotape on Caroni to further imply he was a spy getting back their weapons or an insurgency trying to take over the Gunners... Lots of cool details they could have tacked onto him
The mission starts differently if you didn’t do the Tesla canon mission previous to this. Instead you’re asked to investigate a missing caravan near the Slog. You get there and discover the caravan was massacred after the Enclave had interrogated them for info. You then have to follow the blood trail over the damaged road section which leads you to the enclave encampment and a fight. The quest then continues normally from there with the journey into the glowing sea.
I really enjoyed this add on and I appreciate you pointing out all the nods to FO3. I was also super happy that this gave us new settlement build objects! Keep up the good work, Ox. :)
I'd love it if these Quests worked properly, but not as much as I'd love to be able to walk through downtown Boston without the game crashing. Survival mode is literally impossible due to a chunk of the map being automatically game crashing.
What is nice this fits in with America Rising 2 Mod and I know they added a patch on thier patch nexus page to integrate this in. I wish BGS would buy America Rising 2 and make it an official part of Fallout 4. The mod makers did an amazing job.
Fun fact, the mod author for AR2, Otellino, was the one contracted by Bethesda to make this creation, and a few promised features for AR2 including quest lines for the patch were included recently. It’s all pretty great for those of us who like to kill these guys (or do an evil run alongside them). The faction in AR2 is a great fit for the sole survivor, arguably more so than the institute as a viable bad guy option.
I would love to see, in Fallout 5, the Enclave rise again and crush BoS for good. One can only hope... Edit: also, I'd like to see, in Boston (FO4), the Legion symbols, considering that they came to the Mohave after conquering the entire East Coast.
@@spiffygonzales5160 well you have to look at the history pf the Enclave. The Rig Enclave didn’t go all genocidal til the last president, Richardson, put them on that path. East coast Colonel Autumn was just trying to rebuild but Eden ruined that. Now you have the America Rising Enclave led by literal prewar Americans who also just want to rebuild. I wouldn’t be surprised if after the disaster in DC the Enclave would change their ways a bit to adapt. Nothing changes an organization like consecutive defeats
@@alexiel4406 I'm current lore you'd be correct. But with the lore SOLELY of Fallout 2 they most definitely wanted genocide. In the lore solely of fallout 3 they both wanted genocide, it's just that autumn didn't want to taint the purifier. We don't know why, but we do know that they were killing all radiated people regardless.
I think it’s interesting when I started the first part of this quest I was never ambushed by the enclave soldiers and instead they were already spawned in fighting some of the forge from Saugus ironworks nearby. I stumbled on the by accident early in my playthrough and I managed to kill the hellfire soldier with the junk jet and I yoinked his mk V armor off his body, made the early game super easy Edit: I now think the reason I wasn’t ambushed was because I started the echos of the past quest before getting the Tesla cannon from the glowing sea, thus eliminating the reason they would have to ambush me
Little fun fact: the enclave soldiers are built off of the gunners code, I had a mod that changed gunners voices so they sound like combine soldiers from half life 2, and I learned the enclave sounding like the gunners when I killed them, so that’s a little neat! A bit lazy but neat!
That explains why some of them started yelling "gunners" while taking cover. Ah Bethesda, lazy as always... I didn't even expect them to record new combat dialogue, but small things like this show how little they care.
@@boneman-calciumenjoyer8290To be fair, this wasn't made by Bethesda themselves, just published by them. Remember, Creation Club is essentially community mods given blessings by Bethesda. And the issue with the lack of new dialogue likely has something to do with Sony, since the mods release on Playstation, and are most likely treat the same as normal mods on PS.
@@JaniacTheHedgehog I worked in a metal workshop a few years back. We used to build railings, stairs and made steal frames for smaller buildings. The stuff was largely assembled by people who didn't always know their stuff, since my at the time boss wanted to save some money on the workers. I was put in charge of quality assurance, meaning that I had to check the outgoing products for any errors in the welded parts and other possible problems. It was expected of me, that I would check the sold products with care, for people paid good money for them. Do you see where I'm going with this? Bethesda put this stuff out there and probably hopes that this "free extra content" Will get more people to purchase fallout 4. So even if a 3rd party does all the work for them, they should still do a quality check to ensure that the product works as intended.
Wish you could side with them, didn’t expect Bethesda to allow you anyway. But would’ve been nice. It’s been said time and time again that Nate is the perfect candidate for recruitment
Or Nora... most of us use Nora, not Nate, despite the fact that most Fallout players are male. But yeah, I want to ally with Enclave. They are not the worst faction here. BoS, for instance, is much, much worse.
@@UmbraFulgurI use Nora because you do damage to opposite sex which is male and there are more male enemies than female enemies, I don't know if it also works with persuasion perk where it is easier to persuade someone
It's a shame all of the interactions with the enclave were just firefights. Woulda been a cool opportunity to talk to them, especially considering your character's pre-war origins.
Watching the BoS go full-on Diet Enclave in the declaredly-canon TV show, combined with Wilzig actually being the OG hero of the show without whom nothing else in it would happen, makes me wonder if we should expect an Heroic Reformed Enclave for Season Two because at this point why not.
@Calbeck i got a vid for you. Fallout 3 i just used a mod to side with the Enclave, and half through the questline, lets say that Elder Lyons IS NO LONGER A PROBLEM. >:)
The Tesla Canon is OP AF fully modded at a weapons bench (in a good way) and comes in spectacularly handy if you haven't done the Mechanist quest line yet.
Ox the last time i watched one of your videos i was a freshman in high-school, now I'm a senior and in the army. Videos still the same, still love them. Keep up the good work 🙂👍
I did the "Forge" quest first and obtained the heavy incinerator which triggered the Enclave quest. I hated the forced Enclave ambush. It took me multiple attempts for me to pass it since the Enclave spawned right behind me just outside of Diamond City. The Diamond City guards didn't do shit or shoot back even though I tried to hide behind them. I ended up dying multiple times trying to fight them. In the end I decided the best plan was to hit and run around the outskirts of Diamond City. The Enclave soldier with the power armor became distracted when it ran into a group of Raiders and started battling with them. I took the opportunity to kill him.
I like to think that’s colonel autumn leads the enclave post fo3 since there is a speech check you can make to convince him to leave and he will survive fo3
I've recently finished out the Enclave questline, and looted all their encampments with the magazines, but did not turn off the camp radio beacons. The game basically says reinforcements will keep the camps garrisoned until the beacons are turned off. I'm thinking easy way to farm Hellfire armor and other enclave gear/weapons every couple days.
I started a new survival playthrough and immediately went for the the X-02 power armor. Then started playing the game as normal. While I was running with Danse to Arcjet we got ambushed with an Enclave hit squad trying to reclaim the x-02 from the "wastelander who got their hands on it." I was no where near skylines.
So the note on the enclave soldiers that has the order to kill the olayer changes pending what one of the other items you get, I did the Speak of the Devil quest and the orders said that my character came into possession of XO2 pa
the ambus is can activeted by: if u have a helfire power armor, X-02, heavy inc. x-01 (i'm not sure) and the solar cannon, tesla cannon. and the ambus is can spawn anywhere
I wonder if this means they will make a new dlc for fallout 4 to show how the enclave has recovered, that’s a long shot but they made a come back nontheless
You are absolutely correct. Echoes of the Past and When Pigs Fly should be level gated. Not just like how Nuka-World is where you can still go there before you pick up the radio broadcast, there should be a hard level gate. None of the Enclave Remnants CC content should spawn until you are level 25 at minimum
Just gonna throw this out there. America rising 2 is a very good mod with voice acting and the whole 9 yards that actually brings the Enclave in as a joinable faction
This questline was fun and handily increased my power armor collection, allowing me to keep going with different kits on every suit. Just gotta keep finding those frames! That’s the real challenge at this point
This would have been a interesting Quest to be in the base game with comments from McCreadyand and Dance aswell as a unique interaction with Nate, being a prewar US Service Member
Pro tip: if your over-encumbered and your companion cant carry anymore. Simply drop what you want for your companion to carry from your inventory, then use the command system and ask them to pick it up. Even if the game thinks they dont have enough weight available to hold it. The glitch will force them to pick it up anyway
2 Things bother me about this content in game... 1) The Enclave locations. They setup camp in the middle of the glowing sea with little protection from rads and they setup just outside the Slog... with neither engaging or mentioning each other. 2) You cant turn it off without modding.
@@jakeesmon8474 What it's called is retconning a 10 year old game... There were no Enclave in FO4... Mabey it's time to retcon Fallout New Vegas... and make the NCR bad and a horrid faction... by altering the old game files itself without any option for the game owner... It's a TERRIABLE retcon. You are getting the most powerful power armour almost immediately. The Glowing see is no longer a late game highly dangerous place... Enclave bases are now right next to friendly locations... with no explanation why neither did not notice each other even though they are only a few meters away from each other. @@babalonkie If you are not a fan of hoe a game company is running a game series then don’t play that series. I also don’t really see how the Enclave being in the commonwealth is a retcon, if anything it is an addition. What they did with this update is similar to Vault-Tec Workshop. They added a new location in an already existing location and a few quests, noting in the existing lore states that the Enclave all died during the events of fallout 2/3. It would only make sense that some groups existed after the events of broken steel, and these groups would have most likely retreated to more friendly territory. The only thing that I see being an issue is how the quest begins so suddenly.
@@jakeesmon8474 Broken steel is completely irrelevant to the point... There were no enclave in FO4... that's not a opinion or debate... that's a fact. That's altering key lore at a later date... otherwise known as retconning. Throwing in one of the largest factions half assed literately on your doorstep with zero logic after already knowing the full story... is not a "yay" moment and not something minor... Lets take back every video copy of Harry Potter and insert CGI unicorns flying around the background completely pointlessly with no one reacting to it... as that makes about as much sense as how this was done. The slog not notice the Enclave walking around in power armour literately across the street from them!? The enclave who want to remain hidden are just going to park up and setup a base in the lap of a bunch of Ghouls in plain sight wave at each other and carry on like neither exist!? The Enclave just walk into one of the most irradiated places on Earth with zero protection and are just dandy. It reeks of junior modding... but you see that's the point... Bethesda did not like the community rejecting their greedy creation club (and the community DID reject their CC)... so what's better than to make a statement by forcing sub par mods into the game without a choice and making the creation club mandatory... as a "oh you want to choose your own mods made by other people for free and not pay US for them... well take this then". "If you are not a fan of hoe (How) a game company is running a game series then don’t play that series"... Just No... They take my money... and change the deal... they are not just walking away and neither am i.
I can easily bet that Bethesda slapped this quest together after hearing how the TV Shpw hinted at a Canon Enclave Presence in the Commonwealth. As Elder Cleric Quintus says “Our mission comes from the Hjghest Clerics in the Commonwealth…a denizen of the Enclave has been identified…” now when I first heard this it confused me, how the fuck did the High Clerics of the Commonwealth find information on the Enclave in the Commonwealth of all places? They probably wanted FO4 to have a Lore connection with the Show and that’s why this quest was made. However, vanilla fo4 did bring up some very fascinating implications for the Enclave… There is evidence to suggest that during the Sino-American War, the Moon Race was an Armed Conflict. The War Memorial depicts a Astronaut with a Laser Pistol on the Moon, and the Plaque also describes a “Battle on the Sea of Tranquility” that phrase is often used to describe the Lunar Surface. There’s much more evidence for this, as there’s also a Magazine depicting a Soldier wearing a cool type of Space-Worthy Mech Suit with a caption *“US ARMY GOES TO SPACE”* with a Rocket Ship in the Background. And recently and most interestingly, Fallout 76 got a new *“Enclave Space Power Armor”* easy microtransaction bait or an implication that there’s an Enclave Base on the Moon? Ironically, this would fit with the original Van Buren Lore for the Enclave, with them having a Space Station Orbiting Earth and a long-term plan to Colonize new Worlds unspoiled by War and Radiation. *This is how the Enclave can return.*
HOLY FUCK!!! enclave moon base would be dope AF... It makes sense too, they already had access to the Orbital Laser in broken steel, my question is how would the zetans would fit in with this. The enclave would've had to have an encounter especially post mother ship zeta if you shoot the zetan Laser at Canada.
Honestly it could be cool to have a mothership zeta style dlc or mod set on the moon with enclave and zetans being involved. not to mention... it probably would not be impossible to incorperate the mothership zeta crew into the adventure, or the hubologists. have a arcjet rocket or maybe even institute teleportation technology to take the players to the moon and some modified gear for the lunar surface. handled well, you could have a fun situation like the 2nd battle of the tranquility sea, with zetans, enclave, and your third group getting involved in a massive scripted battle sequence where aliens are using space ships and alien blasters while enclave are using specialised suits of space power armour, plasma and laser weapons, and modified vertibirds employing thrusters in place of the typical rotary blades. then you have your third group... caught in the middle of all this but ultimately being a disruption that could shift things depending on how you go. hell... if their still alive... mix in the old mothership zeta crew.
I was in Far Harbor when the updates were added.... my current build it a sort of "realistic" me, no rediculous sneak perks, only carrying a shotgun and a sniper rifle and some assorted medium armor pieces. I decided to start "Defeat the ambush" without really knowing what kind of an ambush it was and head back to the commonwealth. As soon as the I landed on the dock at the Nakano residence I was attacked...and died. and died. and died LOL.. I had to basically swim out of their range and come back to shore a mile away to sneak up on them. I had no interaction with any of the other DLC so I hadnt "acquired" any of their tech yet.
Any one else fast travel until they retrieved all the armor pieces? I made so many trips even with Ada as a companion with as many carry weight helping armor pieces on my gear my power armor even the damn robot 😂
Nope i already had fast traveling while overweight otherwise i would have marched all the way back no joke im like that im taking it all no matter what have enough PA to replace a full set if i get attacked so what lol
As cool as this is, I wish it wasn’t automatically downloaded. I prefer to download them as I get close to each CC’s start point which I have a map for.
I just beat all the quests and man, I love the fact they made them apart of the game because it adds more lore and because I love the Enclave's equipment. This update has made me so happy!
Fun fact: the "eliminate " note changes depending on whatever enclave equipment you received first. For me, I got the hellfire power armor first, so the note for me stated a wastelander fell into possession of hellfire power armor instead of the tesla canon. Not sure if this works with the incinerator, too, but my guess is yes
honestly I do find it amusing how many people are acting like this update (and the show) is "somehow palpatine returned" levels of writing, when the DLC where we defeated them, broken steel itself, made a point in setting up the Enclave High Command outside of the region and Lyons saying they were still out there (and reconfirmed it in Far Harbor).
Ikr... I mean, we know, for sure, Enclave is still there, alive and we'll. And as The First Order you mentioned, I'm not sure Enclave is the bad guy, or the baddest guy/gal in the game. None are immaculate, but E doesn't seem to be the most reprehensible here. BoS, for instance, is much worse. The least dirty faction, so to speak, seems to be the Institute, in the entire Fallout franchise.
@@UmbraFulgur honestly it's really more a difference in tone/intent there really. The Institute or 4's Brotherhood are there to be serious options, you suppose to look at their pro and cons and decided who's the best "worst option". The Enclave on the other hand is far more like a cartoon villain organization like COBRA; they're there to look cool, evilly kick puppies into incinerators, generally be entertaining on screen, and have action packed fights with the Hero.
@@UmbraFulgurBruh, the least dirty is the faction that actively kills then replaces random people with synths, experiments on them with FEV and is the source of Super Mutants in the Commonwealth all for destabilizing the society above ground that they proclaim they left behind for their future underground? Not haveing kept up with the creation club at all i just got enclave into my game. I find they are actually a chalenge compared to anything else in the game and has totaly refreshed my experiance of the game. Loveing it!
Ya ya ya ya ya I’m gonna be honest these things are amazing additions I just wish they weren’t quest like imagine if they added all this stuff all the creation club content without just spawning a quest in your pipboy like when I walk outside vault 111 it was immersive I’d go check my house now it’s like “go here and fight these enclave members who are saying you have a gun you havent even found yet”
Yes! This is my biggest gripe with the new updates. Love the gear! Just wish they'd spent more than 30 seconds writing the story and integrating it into the game in a way that doesn't break immersion! I don't want to call anyone "lazy" because I'm sure the team did the best they could but were just given too little time and too little money from higher ups to bring in new voice acting or tie things into existing content from the base game better.
@@nemesissombria That would have been so much better! Like, picking up an Enclave radio broadcast? Much cooler. Would have required voice acting though, which the execs probably didn't want to dish out the money for. But maybe they could have repurposed some audio files from F3...

I love the idea of The enclave coming back it's kind of like the first order from Star wars, there's no telling how many secrets hidden bases there are controlled by The enclave perhaps they have vaults of their own to hide in maybe some of them were hiding in Canada because America annexed it or maybe another oil rig, who knows? but just like the Phoenix, it Will rise from the ashes!

Obviously stuff like the doom gun or the prey suit isn't lore friendly or canon.

the ambus is can activeted by: if u have a helfire power armor, X-02, heavy inc. x-01 (i'm not sure) and the solar cannon, tesla cannon. and the ambus is can spawn anywhere
15:54 *_GOAL!!!_* ⚽🥅🔥
Always here for an ox original retrospective
I love that I now have more than one suit of Hellfire and X-02. Now one can have a small militia using captured Enclave weaponry.
Inspired my next Enclave playthrough
Godbless America 🇺🇸
Just gonna throw this out there. America rising 2 is a very good mod with voice acting and the whole 9 yards that actually brings the Enclave in as a joinable faction
God bless the Enclave 🔥
This questline was fun and handily increased my power armor collection, allowing me to keep going with different kits on every suit. Just gotta keep finding those frames! That’s the real challenge at this point
The atom cats sell the frames im pretty sure
This would have been a interesting Quest to be in the base game with comments from McCreadyand and Dance aswell as a unique interaction with Nate, being a prewar US Service Member
Does that make the Enclave being in Fallout 4 Canon?
Pro tip: if your over-encumbered and your companion cant carry anymore. Simply drop what you want for your companion to carry from your inventory, then use the command system and ask them to pick it up. Even if the game thinks they dont have enough weight available to hold it. The glitch will force them to pick it up anyway
Ox over here making trick shots through a window while I can't even throw a grenade between the railings in the Corvega plant
I always really liked the Enclave as a faction. They really created great societies and preserved knowledge. Wish we saw more of them
They enslaved whole populations and wanted to sterilize the whole planet... ...
@@2Scribble Wasters =/= People.
2 Things bother me about this content in game...
1) The Enclave locations. They setup camp in the middle of the glowing sea with little protection from rads and they setup just outside the Slog... with neither engaging or mentioning each other.
2) You cant turn it off without modding.
Just wear power armor you get like 20 cores from looting everything
The reason you can’t turn it off is because it’s an actual part of the game. That’s like composing about how you can’t turn off the settlement system.
Bethesda did a Bethesda... and that is they did a horrible job with zero thought behind it. Whoever they have hired in administration since fallout 4's release is a horrid employee and must be fired.
I don’t know if your ever gonna get a chance to read this however I’m proud of you too for that shot. That was an amazing shot through the window.
However, vanilla fo4 did bring up some very fascinating implications for the Enclave…
There is evidence to suggest that during the Sino-American War, the Moon Race was an Armed Conflict.
The enclave space power armor was free everybody got it at the end of the season
So, the classic nazi moonbase schtick.
@@Motleydoll123We had that… it was called Fallout: The Frontier and it sucked.
I've thought about this for a minute. I feel like, if the enclave were presented in the right light, Nate would have joined them.
😂 You handled the power armored enclave soldiers the same way I did, with a 40mm semiauto grenade launcher.😂
As a big fan of overcoat type armor, the Colonel’s Coat is my favorite part of this update
16:00 : that shoot was terrific, Oxhorn ! 😄
So does this make the Enclave Remnants cannon?
yes
I put all the power armor from the Atlantic offices into a random crate due to being over encumbered and then proceeded to forget where that crate was
Any one else fast travel until they retrieved all the armor pieces? I made so many trips even with Ada as a companion with as many carry weight helping armor pieces on my gear my power armor even the damn robot 😂
Nope i already had fast traveling while overweight otherwise i would have marched all the way back no joke im like that im taking it all no matter what have enough PA to replace a full set if i get attacked so what lol
I just destroy the pieces to make weight 0
I don't think the power armor is too powerful. It requires a LOT of resources to repair, and the wasteland can wear down power armor pretty quickly.
A new oxhorn fallout video is a great way to start the day
Or end one, since is evening. Just saying.
God Bless the Enclave
I just wanted to say I DO NOT comment or subscribe ever. But you got both. I'm amazed by how precise you are.
honestly I do find it amusing how many people are acting like this update (and the show) is "somehow palpatine returned" levels of writing, when the DLC where we defeated them, broken steel itself, made a point in setting up the Enclave High Command outside of the region and Lyons saying they were still out there (and reconfirmed it in Far Harbor).
@@UmbraFulgur You're crazy if you think the Institute is better than the NCR, the Minutemen, or the Followers of the Apocalypse.
@@UmbraFulgurBruh, the least dirty is the faction that actively kills then replaces random people with synths, experiments on them with FEV and is the source of Super Mutants in the Commonwealth all for destabilizing the society above ground that they proclaim they left behind for their future underground?
Least dirty than Minutemen which is the neutral faction and more of a self-defense force?
@@UmbraFulgur bro they’ve attempted to kill every man, woman and child multiple times by this point they are they bad guys
I believe the ambush can occurs at various locations. I encountered them I while I wading walking from Red Rock to Abernathy Farm
So this is canon to the fallout universe?
Many of creations are and especially this one that is now part of the base game
@@omegavalwinWait, the Creation Club content is canon? So there's just a legit BFG 9000 that canonically exists in the Fallout universe?-

The update, is pretty nice , it's cool to get lots of free content and especially power armor
For museum/personal collection mainly. Is heavy, can't swim with it on, etc. Not much of a help. For me anyway isn't a help. Never used one.
They could be like the main game's contents: in form of radio transmissions
@@nemesissombria That would have been so much better! Like, picking up an Enclave radio broadcast? Much cooler. Would have required voice acting though, which the execs probably didn't want to dish out the money for. But maybe they could have repurposed some audio files from F3...
@@_grumpytoad This Update was announced two years ago and the Content was mainly already there. They just had to find a proper way to start those Quests, instead of loading them in directly. They had enough time for doing this!
With the X-02 power armor, you can make a Frank Horrigan style of armor
"The Enclave Remnants are Back!" is perfect. If they print money they should put that on there. I imagine there's big banners flowing in the deprecated AC at enclave remnant hq that read that way.
Guys just can't stay gone.
Gotta say that piggy bank through the window was pretty awesome
I love the idea of The enclave coming back it's kind of like the first order from Star wars, there's no telling how many secrets hidden bases there are controlled by The enclave perhaps they have vaults of their own to hide in maybe some of them were hiding in Canada because America annexed it or maybe another oil rig, who knows? but just like the Phoenix, it Will rise from the ashes!
@@thelvadam5113 same situation as with the show.
