The actress who plays Lucy has amazing facial expressions, that completely change her. Her upset face, to the smile that lights up her face with such beauty, to that sinister grin at the end. Masterful.

Eileen Heckart born March 29, 1919 was either 41 or 42 years old because this was released in April 1961. I loved Ms. Heckart in Bus Stop 1956 with Marilyn Monroe and Don Murray. It was the same year she did “The Bad Seed”.

Amazing movie clip. I could watch this in series for years. All she wanted was to have a family of her own, but everybody in her life was there to take advantage of her.
