Some people are saying the lead actress looks like Lucy, which is true, but she really looks more like a mix of Lucy and Barbara Billingsly, the Beave's mom.
The model knows the woman and then claims that she doesn't know her- and then the cop believes the model? That's just lovely. This is how gaslighting works.
He did not believe the model, he simply did not have evidence she is a liar, if you see the whole episode you would not write this comment. This is the problem with extracted clips; they ruin the plot progress and the moral of the story.
From the uncut version I learned that Mrs Hudson first brought the mink to an appraisor who consulted with a fellow worker in private discerning that mink was made for a Mrs Wilson 2 weeks earlier and that it had been stolen.
I worked years ago in Mcroys. Anyway I saw a coworker take DVD tapes the whole case I asked what he was doing with them he said the manager said to put in the front of the store. Anyway the manager asked where they were I told him and he questioned the guy in front of me and fully denied it I was so confused I was only 18 years old and thought I actually made a mistake saying it was him. We went to court he ended going to jail..
Guys calm down. Let me explain. For 35 years l worked and never got time to watch TV - l also couldn't get a proper signal where l lived - this gives me the chance to catch up.
@@candacegladden5313 You get enough to assume what happened at the end (ie he came back in stole the stole. Because she was walking back to the area where the phone was she phoned the Police to tell them what really happened.)
The girl with the black hair is probably telling a lie, and The beautician is lying to they both are conspiring against that lady try to make her think she's going crazy
Does anyone out there know how I can watch the entire episode ?There must be a way !!In the name of A. Hitchcock's birthday ( today !! ) can anyone share the formula ?
What is so interesting about this story is that in the 1950’s a mink coat or mink stole was something that most women wanted It was a fashion statement and a status symbol I was a kid then and remember going to family events and all the women had some kind of fur with them! 😉
Obviously the "stole seller" girl lied when she said she had "naturally curly" hair; no hair naturally curls into an asymmetrical chignon. The lady detective ought have noticed that.
It is sad about cutoffs, begining or end but I don't complain because it's nice to have them and besides all aren't that bad. Hitchcock's suspense and mysteries are so great it makes up for it, hopefully it will get better. I was fortunate to find some part 2&3 of some episodes and was shocked but happy. Stay calm I understand. 🤫😃✌✌✌✌✌💞💞💞💞
That was definitely not the end, since it was so abrupt without a hint of a resolution. If you noticed, even the beginning was sudden and not the start of the episode. If you really think about it, they didn't all end like this, leaving us wondering what happened next. If you can name even one episode that ended similarly abruptly, please let us know. I do know many episodes have ironic or contradictory endings, which may be what you're thinking.
@@carmencitadavis3751 ....it's called copyright infringement, idiot. Not lazy. But I guess you speak from massive experience, about lazy. Stop being judgemental, considering these are free.
Spoiler: Ok, I couldn't find the ending anywhere so I looked up wikipedia and it says this: "Paula is eventually approached by the man, Charlie Harper (McCallion), who stole the coat, and he offers to buy it back from her for $600, as he admits to facing 10 years in prison if caught. When she declines, he steals it back in order to end the police investigation, but he ends up being arrested." To give some closure for people.
Caught in Love That was definitely not the end, since it was so abrupt without a hint of a resolution. If you noticed, even the beginning was sudden and not the start of the episode.
Make up the conclusion yourselves and submit them. Some shows have an alternative ending for various reasons. I think the stole slipped off the hanger and a diamond necklace was exposed by a tear in the silk lining. The police returned , the lady handed over the stole and necklace and a jewel thief was caught along with the two broads and the spiv who were part of the gang. LOL.
I think is better not to see anything rarher to see something in parts as you posted. It's a very bad spoiler and Impossible to know what happen at the end. Thanks
These are from the 'Hitchcock Presents' episodes fr 1955-65. The episodes were abt 25 minutes long. Here they're only 7-10 minutes. Thats what we get off of yt.
At 5min, could it be that the young girl is pretending not to know Mrs Hudson? And at 5:42 could it be that the beautician is also pretending not to know about the deal? AND could it be that the 2 women are working together to make Mrs Hudson to look ridiculous? Love that 6:25 "Oh honey, don't cry, it's bad for the complection." And "What kind of woman is Mrs Hudson?" Reply "Oh she's kind of mettel-head making appoinments when she didn't." Righ here I feel certain these 2 women are in league against Mrs. Hudson. It's just gotta be. At 7:05 "Gosh, I wonder who she is calling. I don't think I'll be too surprized." Yes, yes, yes - I just knew it! Now all we gotta figure is how this plot works for these 2 ladies. The plot thickens at 7:47. I'm guessing that the 3 unloaded a hot mink on Hudson since Charlie told that "he must do something about this." Will I be right? I haven't seen this before and I suspect at least one more Hitchcock twist. Hudson's collar reminds me of Lucille Ball's. New twist at 8:30 I was expecting. I'm guessing the insurance man offering Hudson $600 for the stolen stole, refused by her, just might take the matter to the cops. But WAIT, he's not an insurance man. He's the Charlie we learned about a moment ago - another expected Hitch twist. And with that phone ring at 10:43 I expect another twist. With few seconds left, it's for sure one. At 11:08 empty hanger swinging that held the mink. I believe that one of Charlie's 2 conspirers took it. And the very last 2 seconds I hear Hudson dialing someone, but who?"

Gaslighting 101
The young woman's voice sounds like Marilyn Monroe.
Yes, really phony.
Yes! She was imitating Marilyn for the script!🙄
And a little bit of Lucille Ball. I know that must sound like a BIG reach.
