I have exactly this problem. Exact same pump and exact same honeywell system. Will try it Question. Pump on fasted speed now fails and makes awful loud pumping vibration sound. Like its about tk blow up. Speed 1 or 2 (lower) makes it work again but clatters. Is that issue related. Its like the water cant flow around the system properly as rads are cold so fast pump speed leads to lack of water inflow?? Just started happening but pump is clacking and all downstairs rads are stone cold. Upstairs all work ok Big thanks
Hi there, If you have followed my video the next step would be to check your F & E tank in the loft (the small tank.) The issue maybe that the ballvalve/ballcock has failed. So a few things to check: 1. To check if the ballvalve/ballcock is working press down on the arm, if water comes out that's good, when you let go the water should stop. If not you will need to replace the ballvalve/ballcock. 2. Within the F & E tank check that the water level is above the outlet. (The outlet is normally located about 2 inches from the bottom of the tank) Sometimes the outlet may be blocked and the tank may need cleaning. If you have any further issues best thing to do would be to drop me a video and i'll assist further. All the best.
Hi there, The process is similar, however as your pump is located inside the boiler my advise is to contact a gas safe registered engineer. Before doing this here are some checks you can do. 1) Check the settings on the boiler, as some boilers have a summer mode which will give you hot water but no heating. 2) Check the boiler pressure, should be between 1 bar and 1.3 bar. 3) Check that the room thermostat is turned up. All the best
I have tried doing this but aborted mission as there was alot of water coming out the pump even before i took the screw fully out. Is this normal or do I need to turn the water supply to the pump off first?
Hi there, Judging from what has happened. I would say that your heating or hot water was on at the time. Therefore your pump is working fine as its pumping the water around the system. All the best.
Hi there, The most likely cause for this is a faulty ball valve in the loft, which is in the F&E tank (small tank) investigation in this area would need to be carried out. All the best Mustafa
This worked 😁✨🔥🥰 thank you ever so much ♥️
You’re welcome 😊
Do I have to turn off the water feed to the pump, the valves above and below the pump unit?
Hi there,
No need to do that, the pump valves/gate valves are to isolate the water when changing the pump.
Did you try it?
I have exactly this problem. Exact same pump and exact same honeywell system. Will try it

Hi, i have a combi boiler. Is it the same process?

What's the black box on side?
Hi there,
the black box is the power supply which has wires Live, Neutral, Earth.
All the best

Hi are you based in London ? Do you do callouts ?
Hi there,
Yes I am based in London and I do callouts, but I'm fully booked to the end of February.

@diyshop839 I thought this but the pump wasn't working at all, no sound from it or vibration
Hi there,
Have you checked that it has a power supply.
Also it may be on a timer, and I would check that your room thermostat is turned up.
My downstairs rads all work but none of the upstairs ones do 🤔
