There will never be another Buckethead... sad but true, the guy is truly a gift that will never be seen in another form again. God's gift to art and music.
One of the best songs ever, I love how everytime he plays it's a different but the same LOL Buckethead is definitely one of the best guitarists ever. He's an awesome guy to, true musician doesn't do it for money or fame. 💯💯💯
If u play something, you own it, and can play it how ever u want, u can slow down the tempo, skys the limit... He s come so far if u listen to his stuff from the late 90s and Praxis, Animal Behavior is epic from 96 to the 2018 and he popped a string in 96 and still delivered with flawless application u have to step up on the fly playing to backtracking
He s the only one standing there, u can't play the top 3 and bottom at the same time, he looped the opening distorted pitch and shredded to it, A A Bb Ceeeeeee over and over as he shreds i can do that too, lol i have equipment
What a relief - There is some one who lives on this planet who has retained most of their soul and knows how to feed the souls of others. Of course truth is the vehicle for the message...
One of the best versions I've heard here on UA-cam... Hands down... The audio, the shredding, the flow and the feeling... My dude rocking my life since the 2000's...
Bucket head is in my top 5 players he is what i call a soul seeker he touches the fabric of one's being not just playing fast just masterful soul searching .using I have played music my whole life God blessed me with the ability to play stringed instruments with little effort but Brian is on a different level I know he took lessons from Paul Gilbert and I love Paul's playing he's one of the best shredders in the world but people listen this guy is on a different level the level of angelic he's not ordinary the get-up I pay absolutely no attention too but when I doubt myself I sit down put on sooth sayer and play along it restoreths ones soul j have heard of people selling their souls to the devil but I guarantee the devil didn't have this man in his pocket only God could grant this so very.very rare he's in his own genre like Shawn lane was I love malmsteen bumblefoot Guthrie Govan and a dozen others but Brian aka bucket is cut from a different place ..trust in this tale that should be told
He opened for the opening act for Primus concert a long time ago. We were like wtf is a bucket head? People were laughing at the kfc bucket until starting playing. Don’t even remember who the opening act was. Les and him had a string battle during the primus set and it was epic.
I saw him open for Primus as well, I had heard of him but never really heard anything from him. I just remember thinking to myself this is going to be interesting when he came out. The next thing I knew he was blowing the crowd away with his playing. I remember he came out during Primus’s set and they played a song called Buckethead
As a guitarist I spent years building up the pinky muscle plying three per note runs with my second finger as the pedal point. Train your pinky and it opens so many door and ease to song writing
Yeah. He's REALLY spent some time on his articulation picking lately. Not that he ever lacked in any area of guitar playing; but I'm hearing him REALLY hitting every fckn gdmn note with such accuracy here. Always have held him in the highest of regards.
Caught myself about 5/8 through the performance - had been unintentionally holding my breath for a while. Mesmerizing guitar work. I like how the audience is just silently and respextfully standing there. All desperate to taste every last note.
I've watched many live performances of this song and this is my favorite one thus far. Its almost as if his phrasing is getting BETTER than it already was, which is insane to think about and then the creative string skipping part at the end was the icing on the cake.
ein absoluter Zauberer! Aber am besten mit sennheiser kopfhoerer geniessen, weil fotogen wie David Gilmoure, Jimmy Paige oder Richie Blackmore ist der Meister ja nicht... hahaha
Who remembers the "Don't you be a Buckethead" commercials from way back in the early 80s? What a fantastic tune here. As an instrumental it still delivers an emotional punch to the gut. Buckethead is definitely one of a kind.
The crowd is just in shock as I would be myself. Basically everyone is also just watching and enjoying the experience instead of recording which is has concerts should be

@@RobertRudel-ly4sxGreat that your nephew looks up to Buckethead! Tell him never stop playing! Love and respect!
Nothing sad about it bro. We get to experience this legend
Soothsayer is an emotion. The crowd is so disciplined and respectful.
So true, Bucketheads one of those artists where a quiet crowd shows how much of a good impression he leaves on them. True legend

Buckethead just melted my face off
May God protect this man, for his talents won't be matched for a long time.

Buckethead's way of saying Im not the best...Im the BEAST!

I saw them for the brown album, and I think he was there. Limp Bizkit
That sounds like a bucket list check getting marked 🗯👌
Sweet story, Brother! I Couldnt imagine?

I like his signature shred lick,, the use if his pinky on his fretting hand is utterly impressive, He possesses some incredible technique
His pinky is probably bigger and faster than most other guitarists' index.
As a guitarist I spent years building up the pinky muscle plying three per note runs with my second finger as the pedal point. Train your pinky and it opens so many door and ease to song writing
Most amazing, seeing him live if you ever have the privilege to do so. Do so!!!!!!!!
Best Soothsayer I've ever heard!!
Died and came back to life just to listen to this god live. 🎶
This version is the best. In other versions I have heard missteps, this version has achieved flawless .
Yeah. He's REALLY spent some time on his articulation picking lately. Not that he ever lacked in any area of guitar playing; but I'm hearing him REALLY hitting every fckn gdmn note with such accuracy here. Always have held him in the highest of regards.
A face only a mother could love...
