Saw Buckethead standing outside of the Warfeild during the Opeth show on Halloween night. But I wasn’t sure it was someone dressed as Buckethead and I know it was indeed Buckethead!
Absolutely incredible. Such a gifted and creative human being. I’m learning to play guitar now and Buckethead is one of the people that inspired me to start. The more I learn the more I appreciate him. Thanks for posting this. Wish I was there.
I led a fairly sheltered oblivious childhood. Because of that I have so many "blind spots". I recently learned that Buckethead was one of them. I wish I had know about him when he first started performing at which point I was going through my formative years of jr high and high school. I grew up not that far from where first started performing. I guess instead of regretting lost decades I should be happy that I now know about and can appreciate the brilliance that is Buckethead.
Tbh when you’re there in and in the moment, the emotions just overwhelms your system and I was excited to the point of numbness, plus I was in the cold waiting for hours in heels. But to relive it and watch this at the gym feels like I definitely witnessed greatness and it was all worth it. See y’all in Santa Ana, Monterey, Vegas
