I was here when you posted this a few years back. Listen to it while I'm doing paperwork for my job. Something about it, just is easy to get in a groove and get things done. Thanks man, besides Bucket himself, you nailed this one.
tapPOOH You deserve it. Great interpretation. I always go back and listen to your version...because there isn't a great version by Buckethead I can find.
+tapPOOH You deserve it man! I come back to this song quite often. The melodic twist you gave this song is just....no words to describe itman. Its my healing plant,if you will ;)
This has got to be my favorite guitar solo. This guy lays down his interpretation of Bucketheads famous Interworld and The New Innocence, and COMPLETELY OWNS IT!!
I listened to about two minutes of this thinking it was Bucket playing. Had another tab opened so didn't see the video. Damn good job, Bucket would be very proud. Unless it's one of his weird things that he hates other people doing his stuff, it's hard to tell with the guy.
I started around sept 2008. I never had a teacher so I learned all I know on my own. Daily practice makes a huge difference, even if just 4-5 days a week.
This is amazing, I can't get enough of it, breathtaking, hypnotizing, beautiful, soothing. The talent of this mesmerizing guitar playing is one of my very top favorites. Thank you, whomever you are :)
This is one of my top 10 by Buckethead and your interpretation of it is a version that's nothing short of epic on it's own right. You owned this. You are truly a gifted musician and I wish you the best.
The first time I heard this song was at the Buckethead show last Halloween. Great seat above stage right with a perfect view, and I just stood there mouth open, goosebumps, hairs on end .. totally blown away. Just one of those songs that instantly put a grip on my soul. Great cover !
Keep in mind that not everyone learns at the same pace, for some people learn really quick and some others may take a while. Dont feel discouraged though, dont be obsessed with whatever your target is and enjoy the learning process. Using a metronome really helps, playing at a slow tempo is very useful because you have time to think about what you are doing and can spot the mistakes you might otherwise carry on. Hope it helps.
Best cover of Interworld ever. Better than BH himself even, since BH plays different parts better in some shows than others. tapPOOH played all best parts together.
I rarely post any comments . But I really appreciate the encouragement and the music. It really helps who I am inside as a person. With what life throws at me, helps my morral. Thanks for helping as I grow in this world.
Still willing you bring us some new Buckethead stuff!! I've seens this video like 200 times, fucking love it!! Best Buckethead covers in the whole internet.
I thought it was bucket himself playing even after I put this video in the playlist and loop it for two nights, fail to recognise it is a cover... Damn good for really understanding bucket, man!!!
You hit the nail on the head my friend. Wonderful version. That's what I love about buckets music, the amount of different versions that come out of that man in his songs are so amazing and you've got a spot on vibe of the man! Gave me shivers and all! Close my eyes, and it's bucket himself playing!
Absolutely stunning skills and tune !! I've been listening to Buckethead for 16 years, you totally fooled me. I cannot tell the difference. Perfect replica !
been 8+ years am listening to Big B , i must say you are extraordinary just like Big B. keep up and never stop playing coz you have what it takes to be a Legend just like Big B. cheers brother
Stumbled upon this because I'm thinking of buying the Buckethead's Les Paul Studio version, Just heard this, it's a beautiful rendition. Made my night. :)
its a troll trying to gain views on his 'cover' which is essentially him miming to a prerecorded track BH played. Your Busted boy bands do it all the time
He used to use Mesa Rectifiers so you need a high gain american-voiced distortion pedal to get close. In this video I was using some unconventional way of chaining pedals (in the description) and it kind of worked but it was way too bass heavy/muddy and the wah worked more like a synth. Phaser and Wah are definitely good, but you should look into the wampler SLOstortion or the Triple Wreck (I have this one). Hope it helps.
Tracking down your cover of bucket for quite a while and definitely your covers are the greatest I can find. But man, this cover, i have to say this is your No.1 of all time. So bucket that thrills me inside!
Siwai Chan Thanks, I totally understand what you mean by "understanding" his playing, I feel very connected to this song and I tried to represent this feeling with the video effects as well. To me this song is about floating somewhere "up there". Also check out my cover of animal behavior, Im not trying to promote, i genuinely think you might enjoy it as well.
The kinda clean sound is pretty good, makes a different feeling as bucket's slow & quite version of Whitewash. Yet I'm more fund of your cover of the Inter/Animal, the tone is on the right track to my feeling of the song.
bucketthead is a electric guitar genius and you can see his talent forur self everytime he spreads the Strings royaly hell yeah buckethead to etirinity...
Say what you want call me what you want but BC aka Buckethead is a genius. He is without a Doubt a god & I’ve never seen anyone do with that Axe. I’m 60 + I’ve seen many old school og’s (Trower, Beck ect. But he’s the Future. I’d cut off my finger just to hang & learn from him. Unfukinbelieveible Shredder.!! So there’s no my opinion it just a fact he is what you see. A Phenom
I didn`t realise it was a cover before I read the description! And that was after I heard it. That was beyond amazing dude! Buckethead would be very proud!
This awesome video has more views than Buckethead's live video version. Well done tapPOOH, well done. Still love coming back to hear you playing this song over and over again man. Subscribed for all of life!
Bucket touches my soul superior tone just flows through him like he's channeling some important message what that message is each one of us must decide for me it's not about what makes us different but about what connects us to one another thanks b head
Wow, what a sensational cover. I don't think I've ever heard this song from BH either. What astonishes me the most is the fact that you have any dislikes. You deserve the praise from BH himself!
I've listened to this countless times and I only just now realized this isn't actually Bucket playing. That's how good this is, the tone is perfect. Sounds indistinguishable from his actual playing.
I have been watching you for about 2 years now and You my fine young man have developed a mastery of the six string that has made you one of my favorite players. What a beautiful guitar and a beautiful song!!
I was listening to this and thought - "huh, Buckethead had better phraseology back in the day", before I read the comments and found out it wasn't Buckethead at all!! WTF this is superb
This is just an improv, I dont have any tabs and to be honest I dont want to sit there for hours and write everything down. You should try to learn it by ear as it will greatly help you when you will want to learn something else.
Jesus man. you made me shit my heart. this my favorite version of this song. nobody could do this any better than what you did man. magical bro, just magical
I just noticed it has been one year since I uploaded this video. I never thought it would get so many views! Thanks to everyone for all the positive comments!
I saw the Robot himself here in Houston Sunday Mar.4 and in my sixty years I have never experienced anything like it but I did think of you and this wonderful upload briefly.
Thanks. 1 - 2 hours a day is the exact kind of advice I wanted to see. I just hate seeing people that say "I could never do that" is all. I want them to know that all it takes is practice, every day. I want to be able to listen to as many good guitar players on youtube as I can after all.
Damn I just realised this video is ten years old... thanks everyone for the support over the years
I was here when you posted this a few years back. Listen to it while I'm doing paperwork for my job. Something about it, just is easy to get in a groove and get things done. Thanks man, besides Bucket himself, you nailed this one.
What’s up man. I’ve watched this video at least once a week for the last 5 years lol
Would love to see an updated version of this like you have done with Soothsayer :)

I love Buckethead but this version by this fella is incredible 👏
I just listened to this again. Eight years later.

this song has always stuck in my head as well, not sure why, its just simple but haunting melody is unforgettable

Can't see Buckethead being one of those douchebags
Nahh man... Buckethead is super good person and I swear that he loves that other people like and play his music
You've got him confused with that Yngwi Malmstein poser...
I highly doubt that, he would probably be very pleased to see people learning and playing his works.
