in your case find your root note, that shall be home, the note you land on to resolve a lot of licks and to start them. build a structure around the note, start ''in the box'' with only a few notes per string and gradually build up.learn to love the minor (aeolian) scales because buckethead uses them quite a bit. when you are comfortable with what you are doing begin to expand the range of your scale across the fretboard, the patterns just repeat themselves in different pitches. good luck

Keep in mind that not everyone learns at the same pace, for some people learn really quick and some others may take a while. Dont feel discouraged though, dont be obsessed with whatever your target is and enjoy the learning process. Using a metronome really helps, playing at a slow tempo is very useful because you have time to think about what you are doing and can spot the mistakes you might otherwise carry on.
    Hope it helps.

He used to use Mesa Rectifiers so you need a high gain american-voiced distortion pedal to get close. In this video I was using some unconventional way of chaining pedals (in the description) and it kind of worked but it was way too bass heavy/muddy and the wah worked more like a synth. Phaser and Wah are definitely good, but you should look into the wampler SLOstortion or the Triple Wreck (I have this one).
    Hope it helps.

Hope you don't mind that I saved your song in my under Buckethead's name. I love your song or cover/interpretation so much and believe Buckethead himself would be proud to know you played a killer guitar piece and sounded pretty close to him. Love it. I know this is old but I still love it!

Best cover of Interworld ever. Better than BH himself even, since BH plays different parts better in some shows than others. tapPOOH played all best parts together.

Bucket touches my soul superior tone just flows through him like he's channeling some important message what that message is each one of us must decide for me it's not about what makes us different but about what connects us to one another thanks b head

Honestly the best Big-B-Cover which I've ever heard! So much feeling and every note sounds like if the master himself is playing. You're the man! \m/

Practicing the same lick 5 hours straight is not really worth it, it will drive you crazy and wont give that much of a benefit. It is better to practice 30-40 mins and then play something else. Your brain and fingers need to get used to what you are learning, sometimes I play better after I have not been practicing something for some days.
I dont know when people started being impressed with my playing. Thats subjective, some people are impressed by a few chords, but Im not in for the show off.

Say what you want call me what you want but BC aka Buckethead is a genius. He is without a Doubt a god & I’ve never seen anyone do with that Axe. I’m 60 + I’ve seen many old school og’s (Trower, Beck ect. But he’s the Future. I’d cut off my finger just to hang & learn from him. Unfukinbelieveible Shredder.!! So there’s no my opinion it just a fact he is what you see. A Phenom
