What a cool idea! Finally a natural lip balm that truly IS natural, not mass produced in a factory. I bet your daughter loved using it! Can you change the flavor by using other freeze dried fruit? I made my husband some beard oil yesterday for the first time! He loved it and it cost pennies to make versus the $10.00 price tag of the version he had before! That is neat freeze dry strawberries! I always freak out on products that say “made with real” what ever product they are selling...made with real cheese made with real strawberries it’s scary that we are so used to that. Wish they didn’t make weird stuff 😔

Essential oil- off topic but what is the most effect way to use essential oil with car vent clip felt pad diffuser - added essential to felt pad but smell doesn't last long on felt pad cause it dries up fast-any suggestions on using essential oil for car ?

This chapstick will last up to 6 months if stored properly. Be sure to keep out of direct sunlight to keep your chapstick from melting. It will be OK at room temperature but will not withstand high temperatures as the coconut oil, beeswax, and shea butter can melt.
This is wonderful!! do the ones with out as much strawberry specks still "taste" and smell like strawberry? Also can they be put in a purse or backpack without melting??
The more strawberries the more of the taste/smell obviously, you can add more! I like the look of the speckled ones though. We keep them in the car and in my diaper bag and never had melting issues.

Can you make this with only the coconut oil and strawberries? My niece is very young and will try and ingest it but loved chapstick so we want to make this for her.
It won't be the sane consistency as regular lip balm, but you can try it!

I want to make w watermelon one. Do I have to get the dried watermelon? Can I watermelon juice that’s from the watermelon even you cut it ?
You cannot use water in oil based product, because the water will make your product to go rancid quickly.
Can you use strawberry flavoring oil as well

Where did you get your box of essential oils from ?
We get those here in India , but most of them are synthetic and not natural . Please recommend from where to get them .

It depends on how well you blend up the strawberries.
