- Hey Guys - Here is my collection as of July 2017. Been collecting for over 2 years now and it's one of my favorite hobbies. Feel free to leave your feedback or recommendations in the comment section below. I am always interested in hearing what you think.
Thanks for watching!
Sincerely,

Every watch collector that collects and likes cheap watches as well as high-end watches, is a collector that really gets it, inmy book. I love this collection and i love the fact that you have for instance the Seiko Skx and also the Alpha. Also the fact you have / love Rolex's but also understands Grand Seiko for me is an indication you really love watches no matter the brand, the price or if it is Swiss or Japanese or whatever. That is fantastic. Great collection from a great timepiece hobbyist.
Wow, thanks Ajax. Always great to hear from you and I really, sincerely appreciate your comments. This hobby attracts a lot of snobbery, but I'm super glad that the youtube community seems to "get it"
"...looks good and is reliable." I think your wife should also have a watch channel. Awesome collection! I'm green with envy! :) Cheers!!!
I just joined today and I'm having a blast! That Root Beer is to die for. What a well balanced collection. While I can't afford that, I enjoy collecting Bulovas, Accutrons, etc, from the 70s. Good job dude.
Thanks Jeff for watching and subbing. Happy to have you. Glad to know the Root Beer is approved :)
Impressive update! Congrats on your collection! 👍
Thanks Claus
Good to see you
For only 2.5 years of collecting that is an IMPRESSIVE collection!! Congratulations
Thanks man
Super collection, thanks for sharing. Love the Snowflake, Batman and Glycine. I have a 1521 and love it too, perfect summer watch.
Thanks! Glad to have a fellow a 1521 lover out there.
Love your Pam! I just added Pam 386 to my collection last month and cant get enough of them
Nice! Congratulations
This is one of the best collections I seen in you tube. All are very versatile and to match different out fits.
Wow, thanks so much. A few people have said that and it's hard for me to believe, but I'm very thankful!
I watched TGV's videos as well. That Squale thing slowly grew on me. That is a fantastic, beautiful mesh strap by the way.
Thanks Rezza
Love the variety in your collection. Congrats.
Thanks Legend
Nice video and great collection! Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks Dutzu
Lovely collection. Really enjoyed that, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Kev. Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching
Awesome collection. Thanks for sharing
👍
That Panerai is just amazing. It is just so iconic!
Very sporty and impressive collection, especially for under 3 years! You have a certified obsession.
Thank you - yes, certainly am :)
this is a lifetime's worth of a collection!! two years....holy cow
I went overboard. Probably should've gone slower, but I'm actually kind of glad I bought when I did before prices went up.
That's a great collection buddy, I know it's been a few years but only just come across your video.
Every SOTC I've seen there are usually 1 or 2 timepieces I won't like, however your collection is on the money.
Other then the Rolleys, That Panerai is the one that stands out, Gorgeous watch.
Peace out
The no date Sub and the Squale are by far my favs. Your wife has really good taste as well, both hers are cool.
That collection deserves a nicer display box. Anyhow, stunning collection. Good work.
Thank you Nick
perfect collection!! real one, Casio, Seiko, rolex, wow!! the GS is awesome! congrats!!
👍
Truly a beautiful collection! It's come so far :D
Thanks Kibble
Great collection.
The PAN 392 is my favorite.
👍
welcome back, man! good to see you kicking it with such style. congrats on your grail piece there
Thanks Sion! Great to hear from you bud. Hope Med school is going well.
Nice collection. I can relate to the first watch on your list, the Swiss Army your mum got you. I still have the Timex mum got me in 1967. Will never get rid of that.
Very cool. Always nice to start with something humble :)
Thats the point
This is really a world class collection. Congratulations. What I personally like the best about it is they all can be serviced locally. You don't have to send it away for months and be without for months at a time. That's where the real luxury and value is in my book. What good is a watch you have to be worried about all the time or become a safe queen. I don't believe in beater watches I don't beat on my watches but I do run them hard and often. I do sports and like outdoor activities so the watches have to keep up. Great collection and good stories behind them.
Thanks so much Calo. Man, what I nice thing to read. Yeah I totally agree. You have to be able to wear these things for sure.
Man, what a cool collection 👍
Thanks
That Omega Speedmaster would be my dream watch. Amazing collection.
Its timeless
Thats a great collection there my friend! I like the fact that you also have low end watches! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much. I try to mix it up.
Amazing collection!
Thanks Omar
I got hooked on automatics and collecting from watching TGV as well. My sentimental is a Seiko given to me by my parents after graduating high school, and a Casio that traveled everywhere with me in my wondering/adventuring time. Nice array of watches.
Nice! I'm wearing my SKX right now. Glad you enjoyed the vid!
Great collection! Man, some great variety and big time heavy hitters. Well done. I love the 1-2 punch of your wife's two pieces. I see a JLC in the future perhaps. Cheers from Germany. Daniel
:) Thanks Daniel. I'd definitely love a JLC. Just want to make sure I get the right one when I venture into that territory.
The reverso is obligatoire
Great video by the way!! Honestly, this the second time I watched your video all over again & every time I enjoyed it. Although I don't see myself at the luxury level collection, but I'm satisfied with my 1K limit budget collection. Thanks for sharing😉
Hey thanks for watching Jose. I could do with a 1k budget - there is so much to chose from.
You sir are a GMT Master freak.
And about the "root beer" and between hating and loving it : I love it.
Yes sir. Love em to death and glad you like the Root Beer
Bottom drawer is my budget..😉. Fantastic collection man!
Thanks! 👍
Crazy collection!
Thanks Random
The collection is insane, I can't even imagine having this great of a collection but I would probably diversify some of those Rolex sports watches, maybe swap one for a navitimer as you said you like aviation pieces. And a good dress jlc.
Wow a great collection from a true watch lover. I am starting my own and the squale will be my first serious money aquisition. Subscribed!
Thanks so much
Great Collection, I've really enjoyed watches your videos. Keep them coming!
FYI I own the 1521 myself and I agree it is my most complemented piece!
Really?! Awesome, it's nice to have someone to back me up on that
Love your collection

Wow what a collection, you need a Patek in there and possibly a JLC,I am very very jealous, great stuff.
Thanks. Those are both a lot of $$$. Maybe someday
Badass collection!
Thanks!
Good stuff - video content and verbal commentary. Pretty cool
Thanks Alex
Great videos. Please keep them up!
Will try. Just gets difficult because I don't want to be repetitive like Archie
Great collection! Nice blend of styles and affordability. I'm a horologist and work on many brand and you have a great eye for work horses of timepieces.
Thanks so much Anthony. That means a lot coming from someone in the biz.
Awsome collection and great video! :)

Yess Maaannn! Gonna carefully dissect this video over lunch. Nice one meistro :)
Thanks dude!
Love the collection. First time on your channel

Very true, Thanks!
Great collection, very similar to mine.. thanks for sharing

Wow, beautiful watch’s .
Thanks
Great video and beautiful collection! also uploaded on my birthday ;D
Thanks Mate - glad you liked it
Very nice collection. Probably worth more than my car :)
Thank you
Awesome watch collection, I like the fact that you included your wife watches in your collection. The watches I like in your collection are the Seiko SKX007, The Grand Seiko Snowflake, the Omega James Bond Seamaster, the Rolex submariners, all the Rolex GMts, The Omega Speedmaster and your wife Rolex and Audemars Piguet.
Thanks Mena - glad you enjoyed it

That Omega though...what a watch!
Thanks Bacho!
Love your gmt's
Thanks Jimmy
Oh man that grail watch! I'm not into Rolex but that batman is on my list!!!! Love it
Thanks - it's great
More superb than great ah ah ah
You own my favorite watch in the world ( the Explorer 2 ) .... I had tears in my eyes .
👍
Great collection
Thanks Matt
Personally I'd add a Kermit, it would certainly complete the steel sport side of your collection.
Nice collection, thanks for sharing.
My uncle has one and I've always admired it, but I'm just not sure I'm willing to spend that kind of money right now on one.
So glad you got the Grand Seiko. I love the Seiko brand. Get your next one in Tokyo. Cheers.
Thanks! Would love it to make it their someday
Great collection! If I had that collection, I'd probably liquidate a few of the rolexes and the omegas for a classic nautilus
Thanks!
Awesome collection. I think it was very balanced. Proud to say I own one that you have. You have to guess...
Thanks Bulldog! The SKX?
You've got some great watches. Good to see there are empty spaces in the case!
haha Thanks Tim. I'll do my best to fill it up shortly.
I really enjoyed seeing your collection. What year (series) is your PAM 392 ? Thanks !
best collection ive seen on youtube, perhaps because it matches my taste, apart from the fitbit and the scabby alpha !
Nice, thanks Dave!
dear god, that rootbeer gmt
:)
TheDutchSandwich i want that sooo bad
Wonderful collection!!! Just subbed!
Best Regards,
WUG
Thanks
Awesome collection, love the versatility. I'm just starting to collect myself but the process of purchasing is pretty slow considering I'm in my first year of college haha. But overall, great video, hopefully we see an update video soon
Oh man don't stress. You're in college. You'll have time to work and save up for more stuff later on.
LMAO! I was going to say GET A GS GMT, and at the end one popped up. They are recognised as better than Rolex in finish etc. Nice collection. Swapping out the BB for a Pan was a bit of a mistake...
Saved the best for last. Thanks for watching!
Squale in blue is awesome and that Frankewatch Seamaster is cool! But that Snowflake, damn that one is a winner *drool*
Glad there were some you liked!
I like the root beer the most. Just got a "Wow" cause i didnt expected this one.. 👍👌
Thanks Tim - it's my watch nerd watch
Grand seiko underestimate (for now..) great watch , nice collection TDS !)
Thanks Ricardo - I think they are getting traction in the market though
Great to see you back! Nice update. If you dont mind me asking for how much does the quartz royal oak go for?
Thanks Lancer. It's around 11
Nice collection congrats
Thanks Hank
sickkkk collection bro
Thank you
im not a watch collector. and i started watching TGV only cause i wanted to know whats the difference between a nato and zulu strap. a few days later i can't stop watching his videos. which brought me to your fantastic videos. i can't ever see my self being a watch collector but i really do admire your love for watches. also i like your production in your videos. i hope you continue to grow in subbers as you have a great channel.
thank you for your educational videos
best of luck!
Wow, thanks so much Jad. I really appreciate that. It's always fun to find a new hobby and a few folks who talk about it and you can binge watch some vids. Always fun be able to scratch the itch for a hobby. Thanks again!
Beautiful collection, I like the fact you have the watches in order o acquiring them. You're pretty much complete, an old Timex Made in Britain (Automatic) could be cool, I purchased two due to TVG, they are very small 36mm so I hardly ever wear them but cool for the collection.
Thanks Jimbers. I'm not sure what I'll add next, but I'll definitely look into the old Timex.
A great collection of watches. Like yourself I have watched a lot of videos by TGV and that has inspired me in getting a collection together. I only own two mechanical watches, one being a trusty Seiko 5 and the other being an Orient 3 star FEM0401RU9 model which even though I paid less for that than the Seiko 5 it is amazingly accurate. I also came across some Orient Solar power watches in the NEO 70's Panda range which I purchased two of these, one being in a cream/white and black face and another which is in green with gold indices and is the one I get most comments on as it is amazing and very comfortable to wear and both are for the Japanese home market so are hard to find. Another watch I get comments on is on a Casio watch I purchased only recently and that is the MTD-1053D model quartz dive watch with a 200 metres water resistance, a really nice watch to wear with the looks of a Breitling or Rolex, definately a great buy which I purchased for only around £40 Sterling and is great for a person with a small wrist as it is only about 40mm and not as advertised on some online sites at 45mm, it is a good solid watch to wear the only downside being the lume which is not brilliant. I also have several other Seiko and Citizen watches which I tend to wear the most. Thanks again for your video.
Thanks for sharing!
love it!
Thanks
Iv never had anyone hate on my 1521. Nice collection!
Thanks Mitch
Mitch w I have the 30 atmos gmt which is considered an homage to the obvious and still, I've never come across hate.. Only online it seems.
A few observations if I may:
1) A fun and enjoyable collection, congrats! That is a remarkable achievement considering that you have been collecting for just over 2 years.
2) Except for the Moon Watch which is de rigueur for any watch collector, you are not into chronographs.
3) There is repetition with your Coke and Batman; I would be happy just to have the Coke, although that said the Batman is also a worthy piece.
4) You are not into Bauhaus but you are not averse to German watches...and
5) Your next watch will likely be an AP (15400 or better yet, 15202) to complement your wife's AP...:)
Thanks so much for your comments. It's funny because I really do want a AP Royal Oak Safari next. We'll see :)
Ha! So I was wrong on two counts: it was a Pepsi bezel, not Coke, and you are into chronographs, after all. APRO may wear a tad large, though, but Safari is a neat choice. Cheers.
Great work! Ive got a lot of work to do haha... picking up my sixth watch and third Rolex tomorrow
Also what is that watch box? would you recommend it?
Cool, what'd you pick up? No clue where I got the box
Was lucky enough to grab a BLNR from the AD.... same place I got the LV from... they apparently like me haha
I really love your collection we are some Rolex fans congrats.
Thanks
Just came across your channel. Top notch collection! Get a navitimer for the last spot and it will be perfection.
Thanks Clayton! I was thinking of an IWC Prince Chronograph. Thoughts?
@@TheDutchSandwich also an excellent choice!!
Nice choices.
Thanks Rob!
Never call it plastic...its hesalite!...cool video and great collection. I enjoyed it
My vote for dress watch is vintage! Plus you mentioned Timex..there are some really cool vintage Timex watches around..just double check condition before buying
Thanks for watching. I'll be sure to watch my use of the word plastic.
Watches got better and better as the vid went on.
The Snowflake doesn’t have any extra coating to make the titanium harder, it’s just that Grand Seiko use ‘High intensity titanium’. Would have been good to mention the Snowflake dial and Spring Drive aspects too.
Enjoyable video.
👍
None of the watches are running, what watch were you wearing at the time?
Best collection ever
wow - thanks
Love that Squale even more than the Rolexes ahha Nah the Batman rules!!
Beautiful collection DS. Snowflake,Batman and the Pam have really changed the look this year, they are really cool additions. Always great to see a GS in a collection. Four Rolex Gmts inc the Polar Explorer 2 ? Will they all be there next year? I would love to see a real Daytona in the box or maybe a Navitimer B01 or both. The two icons from Omega are amazing especially the restomod seamaster . I can't wait to see which way your collection matures but to assemble the watches you have in just over two years is awesome.
Thanks Marcus. I would love to add a Daytona, but I don't really know which one. I also really like the AP Royal Oak Safari 42mm
TheDutchSandwich Thanks for your reply DS. The AP Royal Oak is real haute horology, the 15400 blue dial being a personal favourite, it would be great to see one in your collection. As for the Daytona I don't think there's a bad choice be it Zenith movement or Rolex the only one I would discount due to price would be the new ceramic bezel £15000 seems a tad excessive I don't know what they go for across the pond ? Thanks again for sharing and I look forward to your next collection review.
Starts off with shitters then it’s gets very good. Love the collection.
haha thanks
