Please do another one of these! Would love to see how the collection evolved. Its crazy to see your journey in the watch world since this! Great job Teddy, congrats on everything you’ve achieved, and always love the content.
Jumped over here after the Wtachfinder video. I have to say Teddy, this video holds up very well. The reason most of us love your work is the authenticity and genuine love of the hobby you bring to the table. This video has all that, so good job staying true to yourself! Keep up the great work.
Little did he know how this decision to make a vid would change his life. I’ve watched from pretty much the beginning and Teddy you have done so well. Congratulations buddy
Really balanced, etherogenous and beautiful collection! Also great that Nomos, a watch true passionated connoisseurs... Sorry for watching this video 5 years laters 🙂
So glad I found this channel. It's so well-produced, thoughtful and educational. Thanks for all the work you've put into it; this viewer really appreciates it! I only have one watch (and one watch only), and talk about feminine wrists...
Hey teddy, what are the case diameter sizes on your two vintage. A date just is definitely on my grail watch list. But trying to decide vintage or newer used. At what year did they introduce the 41 mm?
Hi Cameron, the Datejust 1601 is 36 mm and the omega constellation is 34 mm. I am big fan of smaller watches. Rolex released the Datejust II (41 mm) in 2009. I would say I’m on the team of the vintage models.
Made it to the end! I watched all your videos that interested me (~100). Before your channel I knew almost nothing about watches other than Casio makes G shocks, Seiko makes Japanese watches, and Rolex and Movado were fancy Swiss watches. Now I feel like a bit of an expert and have a couple of automatics. I’ve grown to appreciate brands like Hamilton, Tissot, omega and cartier. Looking for a Tank Must, Day Date, and Speedmaster professional for my 3 watch collection. Going to get rid of these cheaper ones I’ve been gifted over the years and happily live my best watch life! Although my list is a bit ‘mainstream’, I think that the new day date on a mint dial, fluted bezel, and jubilee bracelet is one of the most beautiful watches I’ve ever seen. I went to omega and tried on the Speedmaster, instantly fell in love and I use my current cheap chronometer every day for timing, so this one is a must have. The tank is timeless and I want something that stands out among my peers, I feel like younger people aren’t wearing them much these days. I would’ve gone for the reverso, but I can find a tank for 1/5 the price and the overall ~$15,000 watch collection is already more than I thought I’d ever be spending!!
I stumbled on your video and if I my say you have a nice collection but it's why to influenced by other channels I would say if your in the hobby start looking for something original to you something that makes you unique, I enjoyed your video very much very well executed and we'll spoken.
Thank you, my friend! I agree with you on that. I made this video as the one-year celebration of collecting. The first year was certainly influenced by many other collectors, however, I have already made some serious changes since uploading. I think this evolution is part of the uniqueness of this hobby.
Great collection, very tasteful. All super pieces really. I happen to have a few from your collection- Skx, Alpinist, 1521 and Sinn. How could you sell the lovely Squale? Lol
mike o connor thanks a lot man! what variations of the skx, sinn, and 1521 do you have? I have my sights on saving up for one higher end diver. Considering divers are not really my thing, I would rather save up.
So many beautiful watches, so little money!LOL. I have SKX 007 and 009, Sinn 104 SA I and Squale 1521 blue bead blasted. Have you ever considered Oris? The Divers 65 is very tastefully done.
That is a beautiful list of watches there. It appears we have some overlap in our tastes. And yes I have! I am a bigger fan of the Oris Aquis line. That could be the replacement for my Squale.
Hi. Awesome video! Can I ask what strap is on the nomos Orion at 8.19? The one that looks as if the padding is kind of split in two. It looks sooo good!
Teddy - Love your Omega! What's a reasonable price to pay for a vintage Omega in decent shape? I see some on ebay and elsewhere for just a few hundred bucks. Are they really that inexpensive?
Thanks, Jason. Vintage Omegas are all over the map and are one of the trickiest brands to buy vintage for since there are so many refrences. Most constellation like the one I have can be found from $1-3k. Depending on the condition, caliber, and metal used. Other lines of omegas can be purchased for much cheaper. Definitely do your research when buying. It is easy to get burned with vintage omega.
Those are some good looking pieces! I have the Nomos Ludwig and the long straight lugs with the gaps make it feel like a piece of jewelry when looked top down. I quite like it. Where did you get the straps for the Junghans and Nomos?
I appreciate it David and thanks for watching. I love my Nomos! Potentially my favorite in the collection. They just appeal to my innner millennial so well. And I bought them from B&R Bands
Hi teddy could you please let me know the service cost of an automatic watch assuming it’s a basic time only watch without any complications and basic service without repairs or replacing many parts this must become a considerable expense for collectors if you are holding onto watches long term.
Teddy, What year is your datejust? I’m looking at a 1979. Any advice as to whether i should grab such an early model as a daily wearer? How much i should expect to pay for it? Etc. Thanks in advance
Hey Eli. I sold the one in this video, but I have another from the mid 70s, a 1601. I think it would be fine as a daily wearer. The prices on these are certainly rising though. Mostly every datejust you find now will be over $3,000.
Teddy Baldassarre Thanks for the reply and I really enjoy your videos. I’m new to the watch world and your honest opinion is very helpful to people like me . Thanks again !
Stumbled onto your channel and this video. Awesome collection!! For someone starting out their collection like myself, you really started basic and worked your way up, and hit all the essential pieces!! From alpinist to to 1521, I’m impressed by your taste haha
I am really enjoying your content. Never mind the great collection but more so the delivery of your material. Tastefully masculine. Great background music. You have great taste.
Great taste man. I like where you are heading talking about the style of watches you are collecting. Can you comment where are you buying some of the straps? I really liked most of the ones you showed, specially that knitted nato and the vintage leather straps!
Hey Jorge, thanks for watching my friend! I hope to see comment on more videos in the future. I bought the straps from a combination of places. Mostly Amazon, Collareb, Hadley Roma and Hodinkee.
Amazing how far you and the channel have come in just a few years. Also kinda funny how several of these watches have landed in your “regrets” video that I just watched. Anyway, so glad you kept this excellent channel going.
Amazing collection! You have an awesome taste. I like the fact you have various types of watches for every single situation. Maybe a Speedmaster reduced would be an option for your collection
Thank you so much, my friend! I hope to see you comment on more videos in the future. The speedy reduced! Absolutely considering. I have been consolidating and have been looking into a sporty piece with a smaller case size. I have a short list and the reduced is on it.
Gotta Love your watch collection. I would add a Seiko Orange or maybe white or LTD Monster. Man you do have a teeny tiny wrist. The Sinn and Squale look big.Great Video and thanks for sharing your Treasures.
Hahaha I sure do. It is such a pain, but I think it is a blessing in disguise since I tend to like the look of dress watches more anyways. Thanks for watching my friend and great recommendations.
Love the watches. I came here to see your first vid. Maybe it’s just the way I was raised but men don’t wear outfits. Attire, wardrobe, clothes, what have you, but “outfits” are what ladies call them, at least where I’m from. Congrats on the store, man. I wish you luck.
Hi Teddy, with smaller wrists, you might have been better off with SKX013 having a smaller face compared to the 007. you get the same style/look without the size. keep up the good work
You’re absolutely right! That was a mistake on my part. Then again, I was early on in my journey and was not sure what watches suited my wrist better. If I decide to keep my skx I might decide to do a swap for the 013
Great Collection, its really similar the one that i have in mind to develop and also my first automatic was bambino. Have you tried orion 33 ? my wrist is not very small but i do like smaller watches
Smart minds think alike! In the process of amassing my current collection I have found that I lean in favor of smaller watches as well. I have not tried the 33mm orion. I got lucky with the 35 mm, it fits perfectly on the wrist. I think the 33mm would work too, however, I was a little scared in the fact that Nomos labels that as a "women's watch".
That Junghans is special. That face is incredibly balanced and looks minimalist despite displaying a lot of info. I'm pretty sure you get a lot of compliments because the dome crystal really accentuates the combination of the small font and thin bezel, emphasizing the minimalist design.
great collection and videos! Looks like we have/had a couple of the same watches. How do you feel about the 40mm Junghans as it relates to your wrist size? I have 7 inch wrists and opted for the 38mm non chrono, and feel like it fits my wrists perfect since I find it wears a bit bigger than its size
Teddy Baldassarre Ahh good good rust wouldn't make sense and would be a shame on such a fantastic piece. I'm a massive fan. I cant justify the purchase these days so I bought the cream colour Junkers Bauhaus Chronograph instead
Whoa, wait this is just after just a year? Nice collection man. You should definitely do these regularly (yearly? every other year?) and update us on new ones you've picked up and ones you've sold off (if any). Cool vid 👍🏽
Thank you so much, my friend. Well there has certainly been a lot of changes. My plans currently is to do an update in September. That marks the one year point. We will see if I have the patience to do that though.
Great collection and really happy to see a watch guy on you tube who is much more relatable and not another snob. Great video, just subbed. Also what is that strap on the junghans ?
Thanks for subscribing my friend. I am glad to hear that I am relatable haha. Avoiding coming off in a pretentious and snobbish way when talking about watches is harder than it looks. I bought that strap from BandRBands. They have some cool looking straps there.
Haha right. I think the relatable factor comes from the 12 month time period. All the other guys that you see on youtube have either being collecting for ages or just act like they know freaking everything. I have been interested in watches for about the same period as you have been, so maybe that's the reason.
I will take that my friend. At no point do I want to come off in an arrogant manner or even hint that I am an expert on watches. I just enjoy these things like you do. How is your collection coming along?
Hi, love your videos. Gonna start collecting so should I get a Longines Master Collection Moonphase or maybe look for a vintage Rolex Datejust like the one u have or Oysterdate Precision 6694?
So after listening to TennandTwo today I figured i'd check out your first video. Kudos to you starting out with such high production values. ( that background music though! ) ....Beautiful collection, though I now know most are gone. that Omega is such a winner. Glad I found your channel when my watch obsession began recently.
Watching this after I just watched his video about opening a retail store. What a journey
same. wow
same haha
It’s the journey, right? I wonder what he, now, would tell this Teddy.
Same but heard of him from his girlfriend from one of her video
Same too
Wild to go back and see your first videos! This was great, and you've also come such a long way Teddy!
This might be the most well-rounded and value-packed collection I've seen. Well done 👏🏼
The Modest Man Thanks so much, Brock. I appreciate you checking out the video! I am a big fan of your content, my friend.
Well done. Inspire me to choosing watches much better
I agree, there is no point of having 5 rolexes like other youtubers, when there are many cheaper alternatives while minimizing risk
Can anyone gift me a watch
Please do another one of these! Would love to see how the collection evolved. Its crazy to see your journey in the watch world since this! Great job Teddy, congrats on everything you’ve achieved, and always love the content.

Little did he know how this decision to make a vid would change his life. I’ve watched from pretty much the beginning and Teddy you have done so well. Congratulations buddy
You were so polished on camera from the beginning! Born for this..congratulation to the store!!!!!! looks amazing
Humble and perfect watch collection for a young professional
Thank you, my friend. Loving all your comments. Thanks for checking out all my content.
Stop saying feminine :) Small wrist will do just fine.
Hahaha you were not the first person to mention it and are correct just like the others.
The strap of the Nomos is really cool. Could you tell me the manufacturer and the model number? Thanks!
I have small wrists, I prefer the term "Noble"
Stop telling Teddy what to say, unless he asked you for advice ;)
feminine works just fine
How much did you get the omega constellation for? I want to buy one but I'm not sure what price range they should be in.
Here in 2022, curious what you still have... the Nomos and Sinn my fav in this list. Would like to see more of your stash.
Really balanced, etherogenous and beautiful collection! Also great that Nomos, a watch true passionated connoisseurs...
Sorry for watching this video 5 years laters 🙂
Nice pacing without spending too long on each watch but giving enough info for us to look up more
Man this guy seems really genuine about watches. He should open a store or something. 🤔
i agree
You first few watches show that you watched a lot of tgv
As soon as he said "Bambino" i said to my self you can tell this bastard watches Tvg.. lmao..
My thoughts exactly
What about squaleeeee? Lol
The wristsize also remembers me of TGV
So glad I found this channel. It's so well-produced, thoughtful and educational. Thanks for all the work you've put into it; this viewer really appreciates it! I only have one watch (and one watch only), and talk about feminine wrists...
Enthusiastic to watch retail store owner. Time doesn’t just turn on the wrist Teddy. What a journey!
What a hoot to now watch your presentation from 2017! Thank you, Teddy.
Hey teddy, what are the case diameter sizes on your two vintage. A date just is definitely on my grail watch list. But trying to decide vintage or newer used. At what year did they introduce the 41 mm?

Where did you get the strap on the Junghans ? Like the color and texture
It is from Band R Bands. I made a video all about where to buy straps on my channel. Check it out!
Teddy have you done a 2021 collection review?
What watch are you wearing in the video ? I am talking about the second one - not the one in the first minute of the video :D
That is my lovely Nomos Orion. It has become my favorite watch :)
What is the strap on the Chronoscope? Great collection.
What’s that strap on Orient Bambino? I have small wrist too which make it really difficult to find a strap and it’s also 21 mm.
When you wear the Junghans Chronoscope, do you have the stopwatch function running all the time?
Where did you get your strap for the Junghans Chronoscope? I’d love to find that strap if I could
Made it to the end! I watched all your videos that interested me (~100).
Before your channel I knew almost nothing about watches other than Casio makes G shocks, Seiko makes Japanese watches, and Rolex and Movado were fancy Swiss watches.

And here I am checking out your first UA-cam video. You were good then but now your productions are simply put the best out there
Dude awesome video!!! Just subbed, keep up the good work brother👍👍
Best Regards,
WCS
Watch Collecting Strategy thanks a lot for watching and the sub. I'll be sure to do the same for you.
What strap are you using for the Junghans max bill chronoscope?
It is a strap from bandrbands
Thanks!
Happy to help

Teddy Baldassarre about the only thing missing is a speedy reduced :D
Great comment Fernando!
Great collection, very tasteful. All super pieces really. I happen to have a few from your collection- Skx, Alpinist, 1521 and Sinn. How could you sell the lovely Squale? Lol

Oris are one of my favourite watchmakers, just recenty bought an Oris Divers Maldives!! The Aquis would be a super addition to your collection.
I could see it happening. I just put up a couple of the watches for sale :/ we will see where the new money goes to.
Would you mind sharing the brand/model name of the strap on the Junghans and the 1st on the Nomos? Thanks
Did you mention the case diameter on your datejust?
So cool to go back and watch your first videos.
Great collection! Where'd you pick up the strap on the DJ? Been looking for something just like that.
The Omega constellation is an absolute beauty... Vintage Omegas are serious bang for the buck and they look absolutely great.
Amazing collection. Where do you recommend to check vintage watches to buy?
I think you might just consider opening a web-based watch store and, maybe a watch boutique 😎😎. Congratulations!
What is the gray strap on the Squale?
Dude your taste in watches are fantastic.
Hey Teddy! Great presentation, love your style. A new subscriber here. Keep it up!
Hi. Awesome video! Can I ask what strap is on the nomos Orion at 8.19? The one that looks as if the padding is kind of split in two. It looks sooo good!

Anyone know what kind of band is on the Datejust?
What did you shoot on? Really nice shots and a great collection :)
I shoot on a Canon 70D. I would say half of the shots were shot with my macro lens
I remember watching this 6 years ago thinking “wow… he has a Rolex”
I just bought my first Rolex on the 11th.
Thank you, Teddy.
Thank you for the video. Which bandrband is on your Junghans Maxbill Chronograph ?
Oh nice thanks
Anytime man, No problem!
Good collection. That max bill Chronoscope is my all time fav, i will definitely buy one in the future
Love looking backwards and seeing how your collection and tastes have evolved
Great taste. I don’t think I saw a one watch I disliked. Well done.
Nice collections... Just own one seiko, and i love it.. 😊
I applaud your ability to keep your collection down to one. I can learn something from you there!
started watching your vids about 8 months ago? decided to go way back and see how you got things started.
That Junghans is so beautiful! Absolutely fell in love with it when I saw it for the first time in an ad in Genève 2 years ago
Those colors on the bambino are so beautiful. I can’t find that combination anywhere
What strap do you have on the bambino? It looks amazing!!!
i really really like the junghans brown strap, could you please tell me more about it, where can i find it?
ok, so that would probably be 'crocodile reddish brown' on watchgecko.com, thanks a lot dude. nice videos!
Hi teddy could you please let me know the service cost of an automatic watch assuming it’s a basic time only watch without any complications and basic service without repairs or replacing many parts this must become a considerable expense for collectors if you are holding onto watches long term.
Teddy,
What year is your datejust? I’m looking at a 1979. Any advice as to whether i should grab such an early model as a daily wearer? How much i should expect to pay for it? Etc. Thanks in advance
Hey Eli. I sold the one in this video, but I have another from the mid 70s, a 1601. I think it would be fine as a daily wearer. The prices on these are certainly rising though. Mostly every datejust you find now will be over $3,000.
Thanks so much teddy for your response. I shot you a quick email i'm hoping you can take a quick look at. Thanks again. Great channel.
I wanted to check out Teddy’s first video. Wow, even back then he had some bangers.
How do u change the bands on your watches?
I probably should do a video on that.
You will need a spring bar tool. Burgeon makes some great ones. It is actually very easy.
Teddy Baldassarre Thanks for the reply and I really enjoy your videos. I’m new to the watch world and your honest opinion is very helpful to people like me . Thanks again !
Of course man! Let me know how I can help ever in the future. I try my best to respond to comments like these.
I'm sorry but I only collect A . Lange & Sonne and Bregets .... I'm rich and special ..... also dating Taylor Swift .
Hahaha well you have great taste when it comes to watches, my friend. Your taste in women..... ehhhh
I also date her. She gets around.
Nice watches and nice room! All the best for the new year!
Thank you, Michael! I appreciate you watching and I wish you the best for 2018. I hope you will stop by again to watch some more content.
Great collection! Very influenced by TGV eh? ;) Thanks for sharing.
There was certainly some influence from him, is it that obvious? haha Thanks for watching Chris!
Does anyone know what strap that is, on his Orion?
Man I gotta say that grey dial datejust is the prettiest vintage datejust I have seen so far! Even beats the linen dial imo
Where did you buy the straps for the Junghans and for the Nomos/Datejust ? Beautiful watches btw!
Nice diverse watch collection. Can you do a video on some of the straps you had on the watches and where to purchased them?
YK
That is a great idea for a video! I will add it to the list of videos.
Hey Teddy, just curious where you get your watch straps from. Awesome video and channel btw!
The strap choices for these are so nice
Thank you, Yoav. That is half of the game in my opinion.
Hi does anyone know the exact reference of the junghans?
Stumbled onto your channel and this video.
Awesome collection!! For someone starting out their collection like myself, you really started basic and worked your way up, and hit all the essential pieces!!
From alpinist to to 1521, I’m impressed by your taste haha
I am really enjoying your content. Never mind the great collection but more so the delivery of your material. Tastefully masculine. Great background music. You have great taste.
Thank you so much, my friend. Very masculine, I will no longer call my wrists feminine haha
I bought 8 watches this week. LOL! Invicta's, Seiko's, Citizen's and Fossil's.
Great taste man. I like where you are heading talking about the style of watches you are collecting. Can you comment where are you buying some of the straps? I really liked most of the ones you showed, specially that knitted nato and the vintage leather straps!

Hi Teddy,
Could you let me know where you got your Junkhands from please?
Does anyone know where to get a Seiko Alpinist SARB017 secondhand or just at a good price? Thank you
Wow! You are great on the camera! Very nice collection. How long have you been collecting watches?
I appreciate it Peter. It is only the first video so I hoping to improve. And all of this collecting has been just under a year.
Gotta Love your watch collection. I would add a Seiko Orange or maybe white or LTD Monster. Man you do have a teeny tiny wrist. The Sinn and Squale look big.Great Video and thanks for sharing your Treasures.

Man your watch collections are really neat
Love the vintage constellation. Nice to see the comparison against my new-ish globemaster. Lovely watches.
Loved the max bill as well.
Superb! You've come a long way baby ; )
Hi Teddy, with smaller wrists, you might have been better off with SKX013 having a smaller face compared to the 007. you get the same style/look without the size. keep up the good work

Hi Teddy, would love to see your latest watch collection as at Dec 21 :). Thank you for all the great videos over the years.
great collection and videos! Looks like we have/had a couple of the same watches. How do you feel about the 40mm Junghans as it relates to your wrist size? I have 7 inch wrists and opted for the 38mm non chrono, and feel like it fits my wrists perfect since I find it wears a bit bigger than its size
do you know the exact name of both? Thankyou
Is there rust on your max bill at the bottom there?
Masterpsflood no something got caught on the dial. I didn’t notice it was on there until after I shot. Gone now
Teddy Baldassarre Ahh good good rust wouldn't make sense and would be a shame on such a fantastic piece. I'm a massive fan. I cant justify the purchase these days so I bought the cream colour Junkers Bauhaus Chronograph instead

Anyone else here from 2024? Check out the young Teddy 😅 #HumbleBeginnings I'm here from the future saying congrats on 1M subscribers Teddy!
Great collection and really happy to see a watch guy on you tube who is much more relatable and not another snob. Great video, just subbed. Also what is that strap on the junghans ?

( that background music though! ) ....Beautiful collection, though I now know most are gone. that Omega is such a winner. Glad I found your channel when my watch obsession began recently.
Awesome and variegated collection, congratulations!
Nice collection! My kind of style. Where do you buy your watches from, maybe make a video on we’re to buy vintage etc. 👍
