No way I’m so surprised and grateful I came across this video, I’m from the UK and I’ve been looking for a detail installation video and I’ve finally found one after months and it’s my exact car! 😂 I’m installing a rear dash cam and I just want to know how to route the cable from the front dashboard to the rear tailgate where I would mount the camera and I am not paying someone ridiculous prices to do it for me. Question: Can the rear camera be installed facing downwards (upside down)? I have a small Toyota Aygo and this is my only solution when installing the rear cam inside the car.
No, the dash cam does not have a flip image option.

Does the red wire need to be attached for the rear camera to record? Can it work with just the black cord? What is the purpose of the red wire?
The purpose of the red wire is to switch the camera to a backup camera when you put your vehicle in reverse. If you have a back up camera on your vehicle, you don't need to install the red wire.
Hello! I had a question. Can we not plug the cigarette charger in the trunk port? Does that not activate only when the vehicle is ON? I have the same nissan rogue btw.
You can plug it any socket. If it doesn't turn off when the car turns off the your car battery will die
When you mount the front camera it is it normal for it is to be wobbly?
No. There usually tightening knobs on the dash cam mount. Check if you any that needs tightened.
My rear camera no longer shows on the screen. Don't know if it's broken or I haven't got settings correct. Anyone help please.
That happened to me once. My wire connection from the rear camera to the rear wire was loose. I just pushed back together and it worked. I also tapped together so it won't get loose anymore.
Lol theres no green wire for ford taurus, 2 black so i need to check them both which one is the right wire 😂😂
