Yeah, but this show is old and while nowadays these are all considered old man upgrades, back then they were in style. I changed the grille on my 1995 Ranger back then and put a turbocharger on the 4.0L V6.
It’s all relative to the time. Look at all the trucks being destroyed in the “truck ups” reel at the end. Anyone beating a classic Bronco or 70s Toyota pickup these days would be considered insane now, but they probably got these for a grand in a newspaper then. Time flies!
90% of us watching this will do anything for a shop like you got I'd be happy just to play around for an hour in there then I'll go back to my house in the backyard monkeying around dreaming about the tools you got
Those Billet grills just got overdone. It was essentially what the angry grill and lights on a Jeep are today. The stock grill was better, and today they make ones that still have the mesh look but smaller openings and no emblem. If you can't look at that truck and not tell it's a Ford, having an emblem won't help.
@@timetravelerdmc9809 they can be right when the emblem is there. I have a 2014 and there's no way I am having billet anything on it...namely because it wouldn't look right with all the red and black.

that grill is horrible looking. cat back exhaust doesn't do anything for performance and is not a dual exhaust. why nittos? they are cheap chinese junk.

its all good till u suck in a ton of water and hydro lock the engine.
turn it 180 and it will still work... less chance of water getting in
