The under spins are an absolute blast to use. As soon as it’s physically possible to survive being outdoors without dying from heatstroke, I’m gonna get them out there and catch a few.

You’ll have to let me know when you get to Alabama, I ll have to meet you there though because I live in Virginia 😂.
I do have a tendency to get silly.
I also try to hold back on occasions just so I don’t overdo it but I have a “Marx Brothers” background that I just can’t seem to get rid of but it comes naturally.
My knowledge is based mostly on trial and and error plus asking other people who know more than I what I’m looking at, usually after I’ve taken it all apart and there’s a bunch parts laying in front me.
However, I very much appreciate the compliment and you watching but I’m even more happy that you “enjoy” watching. That means more to me than you could imagine.

I just enjoy what I’m doing and hope people enjoy what they’re seeing.
Trust me, my computer isn’t being bombarded with emails from companies wanting to send me their products. Maybe one day but I’m a very conservative individual and I’m not going to use a bunch on vintage gear, telling everyone how cheap it is to go fishing then review a $200 reel in the next video telling you go buy it.. that’s just not how I work. I’d love to have an Electric Bike and if someone from some company offered me one, I’d take it, but that’s about it.
So have fun out there!! That’s what it’s about… 🤠at least for some of us.

Willy, I think that I need to find a good, affordable underspin (ebay???) if I can. Then, of course I will need to get another rod since mine are all casting (or spincasting) rods and some line. Lastly I will need to clean out the doghouse because that is probably where I will be spending a lot of time for a while! Wifey thinks I have enough fishing stuff and I can't get her to understand that there is no such thing as having too many rods, reels, lures, etc.. I've tried to use the old analogy that she could never have too many purses, but for some reason that hasn't worked! Any suggestions? I could really use some help with this one!

Let’s just start at the obvious beginning.
When it comes to Finding an under spin, honestly, it’s not gonna be that hard if you use eBay. I’m sure there’s bunches of choices.
The question is, which person are you? Shakespeare, Johnson, Zebco, Abumatic? Or do you just type in “under spin” and see where it takes you?
Most all of my vintage reels came from a flea market, yard sale, thrift store, or traded and bought from friends.
I use fly rods for the under spins and casting rods for the spin casts.
Line, I love 4-6lb Trout Magnet SOS or 6lb Suffix elite.
Now, for the reeeally important part, the wild and wonderful world of Domestic Bliss!! Since I don’t know you and your situation I’ll just tell you how I do it..
First off, I stopped drinking over 15 years ago, I’ve never done a drug of any kind in my entire life, and I stopped chasing women when we got married (as any good married man should) so what I tell my wife is, when you compare all the truly bad habits I “could’ve had” to having a fishing equipment habit, what would you rather I have?
She smiles and says, you go fishing Honey😉🤠.
However, I do sell off a lot of what I don’t use after making an episode with it, so I have the money set aside for more cool stuff!! Lol
So There’s my hidden secrets that only you’ve been told.. 😉
