Legends master there own rivers and dont have to spend 10k an outing just to go bigger than last time. Thats not fishing that adventure similar but can be much more simple and still be adventurous
What people don't realize about these kinds of streams is the ENTIRE stream is a feed lane. So fish can just hang out and eat EVERYTHING. They just need enough cover to not get eaten by birds
I love fly fishing the smallest creeks I can. Love those little brookies and cutts. The critters you must see when flying over. Dang I wish I could use a plane for scouting
Honestly one of the best fly fishing channels out there. You have some of the best editing and best adventures any fishing channel has right now. You make me feel like I’m right there with you guys! Amazingly done!
Great video. What I grew up doing in the Eastern Sierra. Caught many a fish out of tiny little creeks like this. These are the ideal spot for a Tenkara rod, travelling light, pill bottle full of flies and some tippet.
What a unique way to explore and fish! Thanks for the fly fishing films. You young guys and your films are part of the reason why I've just started on my own fishing adventure. There's a Smallmouth Bass in Tennessee with my name on it.
Hard to believe that 1) a creek exists in that landscape, and 2) that it holds such an amazing population of trout! Great find Trent! Thanks for sharing another outstanding video. ✌🏻🎣
One of my favorite creeks. I was totally surprised when I saw it in the video. I’ve never saw a plane land there before. I did see one takeoff from the road along side the Smoke Creek Desert. I pulled off the road to let him take off.
Dream adventure, I wanna explore rivers from a bush plane! Another epic video Scottie! So cool that you & Trent partnered up. Loving this series! Tight lines & safe flying👍 Steve @blackflycreations ✌️
I'm not sure what's going on here. Some of the best content on UA-cam. How is there only 134K subscribers? Should be like 5 million by now. Keep it up guys this is amazing stuff!
I’ve got a several acre piece of property in SE Oregon. A small stream flows thru it and there are HUGE red side rainbows in it. The locals say they are contaminated with mercury from uranium mining in the area so don’t eat them. And that’s why the stream there is teaming with 3-5 pound trout.
Awesome that you sold out of those Sun hoodies already. I am glad I have one coming my way! Can’t wait! Now I just need to be the lucky one to win the trip to Alaska! 🤞. Another great video too!
reminds me of a tiny creek i fished tucked back in the sagebrush just like that one, except it was full of 6 inch native rainbows. some of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen. I never pass up those tiny creeks anymore.
You need the boys at G Loomis to hook you up with a 3wt IMX pro creek! I bought one last summer and I absolutely love it!!! It’s totally made for these smaller creeks, and I guarantee you wouldn’t have as many misses as you did with your 4wt. Another 🔥🔥🔥 upload and edit. Totally have loved these Trent Palmer collab videos, looks like the start of a great friendship between you guys.
Stellar! Especially the perfect shot of the nice Brown at the 7:41 moment, awesome ! Amazing to catch fish like that out of what looks like nothing more than a little creek. The little things in life that shouldn't be overlooked! That's where we often find the treasures in life! Love your videos and would love to experience your lifestyle of backwoods flying and fly fishing as a fly fisher myself. But at 60 it's going to have to be in the next incarnation! In the meantime keep them video's coming! It's like trying to cast a fly line into what I would call a ditch! Lot's of skill involved. Great shot's throughout. Stellar!!
Fish a slightly smaller hopper/stimulator #14 or so and 5x/6x and you would smoke the fish on this stream and similar smaller bodies of water. The density of fish for such a tiny stream is incredible and the fish that you are missing are only because of too big of a fly and too heavy tippet. Great video.
Awesome! Super jealous about fishing a small creek like that in open terrain. I know some small creeks but they are so over grown and the deadfall is so crazy that it's nearly impossible to fish them in any capacity. Great spot for sure.
Definitely try out pyramid . First time fishing there on ladders 35 fish in one day and the locals said that was one of the best fishing days in 20 years.. winter and spring is the best times to go. It’s better on a crappy day with a little wind cloud, cover and chop. You won’t be disappointed.
Fascinating. I reviewed literature and photos of both Rainbow and Cutthroat. The spots below the lateral line causes me to believe that it has some rainbow in it. The overall yellowish body and minimal spotting over all is a Cutthroat feature. I'm guessing hybrid Bonneville Cutt/Rainbow mix. Very cool fish..
Im Trent’s younger cousin and I keep finding him in my UA-cam recommended, this is absurd Trent Idek u we’re famous like that.
Slo-mo trout takes may be some of the best videos on the internet
Alright…I’m not a trout guy, but I’ve got to admit that this is the $hit 😀. Epic footage!
Not a trout guy!? Your so missing out…..
@@jonathanrollins7292Live in the south, so no trout. But, this would tempt me.
I’m fourteen and obsessed with trout
Go on
@@GIGATHECHAD1wow you're 14 that's so sick dude I'm so glad you told us!😊
You've already cemented yourself as a legend in fly fishing Scottie! People will never stop watching your videos 👊
Legends master there own rivers and dont have to spend 10k an outing just to go bigger than last time. Thats not fishing that adventure similar but can be much more simple and still be adventurous
10/10 film again my man. I’m a world saturated with trout fishing. This whole concept is such original content. Bravo my guy
What people don't realize about these kinds of streams is the ENTIRE stream is a feed lane. So fish can just hang out and eat EVERYTHING. They just need enough cover to not get eaten by birds
I thought I’d seen it all, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone fish a creek that small. Absolutely stunning video.
Love how your videos are showing the "adventure" that goes along with fly fishing or vice versa. Way more to it than chasing fish!
That stream was amazing! He nailed it with the putt putt comparison!
Loving the videos guys. I'm not a fly fisho (yet) but have been binge watching your videos all day. Love you're work. 🇦🇺
Awesome trip. Great camera work. Trent seems like a very down to earth dude
Would have been icing on the cake to do a catch and cook right there on the stream. This was epic regardless
Really enjoying these episodes. The stream alone would have made a great film, but the fact that you guys landed a plane next to it - first class.
I love fly fishing the smallest creeks I can. Love those little brookies and cutts. The critters you must see when flying over. Dang I wish I could use a plane for scouting

We are lucky to have you Scotty
No, guys. That land rush absolutely translates to video. Beautiful.
Great video. What I grew up doing in the Eastern Sierra. Caught many a fish out of tiny little creeks like this. These are the ideal spot for a Tenkara rod, travelling light, pill bottle full of flies and some tippet.
Such a sick little creek. Can’t wait for the next one!

What a unique way to explore and fish! Thanks for the fly fishing films.
You young guys and your films are part of the reason why I've just started on my own fishing adventure. There's a Smallmouth Bass in Tennessee with my name on it.
Trout too, you can target anything on the fly
What an awesome adventure. As always, great film. Love that you and Trent crossed paths! I've been watching him for a while too.
Awesome video! I wouldn't even think to fish a stream that small! You've found yourself a nice honey hole!
Hard to believe that 1) a creek exists in that landscape, and 2) that it holds such an amazing population of trout! Great find Trent! Thanks for sharing another outstanding video. ✌🏻🎣
That's Nevada for you. Like sunny days in Seattle, we keep it a secret.
That planeride seemed like an insanely fun start to an insanely fun trip
Brilliant, that tiny river is incredible as are the fish living in it. Great film as always 👍

Man you guys are living the dream! Thank you for taking us with you!
I have enough knowledge of the area that I think I know where this is. Hoping to try it a little later on in the summer or next spring. Looks awesome!
Unique transport to a great spot. This is classic fly fishing. Great job.
This is such an insanely small stream...very cool!
Awesome video, loving the series so far & am sure the rest will be great too. Watching from the other side of the world!
Fly, land, fly fish. Best therapy in the world.
Absolutely fantastic content. Really enjoyed it so thank you for creating.

This is why fishing blue lines on maps pays off! Beautiful creek, great fish!
That was very cool guys. Nice to see something totally different.

Loving this series you got going on with Trent. Keep up the great work!!!!
best thing to see when you're just home from work, rad series bro
Trout fishing heaven! I’ve got to fish there someday
That’s wild bro. That’s probably the narrowest stream I’ve ever seen anyone fish. So cool!
I would never want to leave. AWESOME!
You guys are my heroes. This is extremely badass.
What a gem. Great stream and great content.
Can’t beat a couple of good fishing t-shirts and a hat.
I would love to just sit there and watch the fish rise. friend. Very nice my

Great video buddy! I want to see another short bus adventure though. I really like all your work!!
This guy would be a great guide!! I’d book a trip!!
Boy are some beautiful fish. I like fishing for the small ones are a little trickier to catch
I've never done fly fishing .. but this stuff seems more like art than good ol' fishin
Can be. Doesn’t have to be. Either way, there’s nothing better.
