Thank you so much for this information! No fast talking!!! Straight to the point, No confusion! My Husband is A driver, and he told me, he didn't NEED A DISPATCHER, He can book his own loads!!! I was like, oh ok, and it discouraged me from wanting to become a dispatcher. I want to train properly and get a certificate, just to have the credentials. You on the other hand Nail this Video, and has given me some hope in myself, and prove to My Husband if he doesn't want me, someone else will. 😂
I just did a search 'truck dispatching business' cause around this time last year there were soo many videos about being able to generate at least $5K dispatching. Now it shows videos from last year nothing recent. I'm bringing that up to mention the people who promoted truck dispatching last year are the ones who got rich quick from us taking their course. Like you mentioned the courses aren't really beneficial and they leave a lot out. I'm just glad I kept my job, or I would have been in trouble. It's hard to really make it you'll need at least 3 - 5 drivers to dispatch. The drivers have to be reliable and serious about work. My experience trying to do this as a business was tough and stressful. I feel it's more like a stressful side hustle than a ceo running a business for a few hours. It's very time consuming to do this. good luck to anyone still considering it just research the load boards. I'll still do it as a hustle I guess $150 here/there can help. That's what I generated nothing close to $5k not even $2K.
Jessica what course did you take and how long did you do dispatching. I would like more info. I am looking researching this now. I ready to jump on board but I was thinking it was too late. Let me know. Thank you
Im also ready to make the plunge into the industry. I live outside the abroad but frequent the US as I have close family. I want to enrol on a course with mentorship to see me through.
it's very understandable straight to the point, how can I get in contact with the drivers ?, and how can I start from the bottom, I finished truck dispatch training but they didn't help me to get the drivers.
Took the “boss” class with your videos. I am very proud to say I have completed the course and very satisfied with the course. I am currently waiting to get my LLC and start working in the field.
I just turned 20 years old and am going to start dispatching next month . I have a few more questions but dont want to take up to much time lol . Thanks for the videos. Best trucking channel on UA-cam
Thank you very much for your videos. I have been watching them since yesterday and I appreciate your honesty and showing a real person not a fake act. I have been looking through the websites you mention like FMCSA and found the registry of O/O. I found one O/O and looked at his or her license and insurance and it says they do not have bond. Is that something to look out for? They have BIPD at 750k but no cargo or bond insurance..
Awesome content. Your video was very informational. I'm an owner operator, my brother and i started our own trucking business. We hit our 6 months authority in January. I want to dispact for myself. This was great and helped a lot. Thank you. Is it possible to drive and dispatch your own loads

I'm working as a freight dispatcher I'm cold calling truck drivers and telling them that we got high paying loads. I can't find a video related to me, which can help me most of your videos are about the dispatchers who are responsible for tracking the trucks. please tell me where to start
Thank you so much for always sharing your wealth of knowledge. If I’m doing a trip/route planning and I book a load that’s a 2,000 mile pick-up, how will I know before I attempt to book the load how many days or how long it will take my driver to get there?
You are welcome! Rule of thumb is 500-600 miles a day. So, if the driver has fresh hours for the day of the pickup, it will take him 3 days and 3 hours. Keep in mind that you have to include potential deadhead miles into this calculation and any hours already used for the day of the pick up.
Wow, this channel should have much more subscribers. So many useful information for beginners and a few comments only. Could you please advise how many percents do you usually charge for dispatch services? Have you ever tried to provide a brokerage services or only double-brokerage 😉?
Hello thank you for the kind words. As far as my percentage charge, it depends on a lot of factors. What kind of equipment you are running, how many trucks you have and how are the markets doing. I tried brokerage but I didn't have time to take it to the next level.
Im not scared to cold call carriers i just dont really know what to say . Do you have a script ? also what are the most common carrier objections & how to answer them ?
I don't have scripts and honestly I hate them lol. They make you sound unnatural. Just be yourself and tell them about you and offer them your services.

It's really up to you and your local laws there. I imagine it's same as in Bosnia as far as opening your own company goes. That means a lot of paperwork and money, a lot of taxes and a lot of people you have to "know" to help you out with that. I don't think it's worth it when you are a one man operation if you know what I mean ;)

So if I (a foreigner) will register llc in the US, and sing up to DAT, they still could block me if they find out that I’m not a US citizen?
Yes, a lot of dispatchers told me that's what happened to them
What of a US permanent resident?
Not a necessary an LLC. It can also be personal service register name …right?
Yes
So does that mean you have to get also a DOT and MC number ? Because when you try to sign up with DAT Load board the app asks you for those details!
Hey Enis, I cannot see your affiliate link to the 30-day free trial to the DAT load board. Am I just overlooking it in the description?
Hello, they don't have that promotion anymore. Go to www.neverstoptruck.in/ and click on loadboards in menu to see current promotions.

is it possible to do this from home in Europe, with VPN?
