      That's a good break down but what happens AFTER you invoice the carrier? By what method does the carrier pay the dispatcher and when?

    Thank you so much for breaking it down and making it simple! I have taken a Dispatching course and still could not really identify the Pay element of Dispatching. Thank you so much again and you have a new follower.

    Wow! I just watched a youtube video of a woman who trains dispatchers who says she invoices the factoring company. Glad I found your channel.

    Francisco thank you for the video. You did a fine job presenting a descriptive clarity how a dispatcher is enumerated by the carrier. Also dispatchers are employees of the carrier and paid hourly or salary and or commission with the combination.
    I'm currently in the process of developing my TMS, Bizlytics.
    If you're intrigued or interested at all and hearing about it please get back to me

    Awesome video. I like the way he describes. I hope he will help some one like me willing to be an independent dispatcher in many ways.

    Great video - answered a question I’ve had for a while. Question: I want to start an Independent Dispatching Service. Can I dispatch for multiple carriers? Thanks.

    How can we find a job in that area? I bought a course of freight dispatching but I have no idea how to start working with it as an employee. I would like to work even earning way less than the usual, just for experience. I could really use some tips. Thank you!

      You can then hold them legally accountable according to the Agreement Form they signed with you as the dispatcher.

    So overall it's pointless to be a dispatcher you might as well be a broker

    • @luumaven
      @luumaven 9 місяців тому +3

      No it’s not pointless. Most of time, drivers don’t wanna deal with the hassle of dispatching. It’s annoying and they don’t have time.

      I've done both and they are quite different. Brokering is cold calling, you call shippers to find loads then you list the load and dispatchers call you for that load. You make the deal between shipper and carrier. A dispatcher works with a carrier/or independent owner operator only. Dispatcher finds the load on load boards listed by brokers & shippers and sets up the load for a trucker. Haggling for best deal for trucker.
      I liked dispatching much more. No cold calling. And worked with same truckers helping them find a load.

    Why be a dispatcher when you can be a broker

      @@adaptreform692 but isn't it true that all of the start-up costs more you control more than their two for the money than the dispatcher

    Sounds like a dispatcher could be replaced by an AI algorithm operated by a broker or factoring company.

      @covenantdispatchllc7644 well thats how us old truckers think. "Somebody's in my cookie jar," lol. joking aside, I'm looking at these videos because I'm ready to quit driving. I'm tired after 24 years, and I wanna spend time with my granddaughter while I can. I've done a lot of different types of trucking over the years. I even had my own trucks for a few years under my own authority. So I'm familiar with calling brokers and booking loads and such. This seems like a natural step, and I would rather work for myself than sitting in a cubicle all day working for a trucking company. so I'm researching watching videos and stuff to learn what I don't know.
