For people wondering I hunted my one last year (without smart motion version) I accidently dunked under 30 degree water for about 2-5 mins after falling off boat didnt work in field that day but took home took battery out and open air dried it and decoy and was able to hunt with it the next morning!
@@chrisbrown5336 Same here brother but as you can see in the vid the decoy not only looks different when flapping and in my opinion better its a much more realistic looking decoy. I ran this and mojos last year and will continue to do so until Avian X makes some diver or other puddle ducks in Powerflight line. The Battery pack its self is what needed to be dried the most and were talking a 10V lithium battery in a removable housing if i had a dry battery on person bad boy would fire right up!
Damn that's pretty cool. I don't like having my phone out while hunting so it would be cool if they integrated the customization from the app into the remote via some extra buttons on the remote that you can preset with the app beforehand or during hunting.
With birds getting educated more and more each season, we as hunters have to up our game. It looks like this is a prime example of the way we can do that. Looks awesome
Looks like it definitely decoys hunters. Now we just need to know if it attracts ducks, too. It seems like spinners are falling out of favor -- Are the ducks figuring them out?
Maybe i missed it but, can you hook up multiple to one remote? How many can one remote control at once? Can you control 2 or 3 with your phone without having to switch back and forth to each decoy?
Looks cool but don't see the features or the new wing design making a difference in effectiveness compared to mojo or lucky duck which are both cheaper in price
Opposite experience here. I have Mojo decoys that I've had for years. I think my teal is at least 15 years old and still works fine. I don't use my flashers as much because I've shifted gears and run mostly Pulsators for water movement and not as much in your face flash, but I stick a Spoonzilla off to the side for visibility and because it's funny. I also use a Higdon flasher splasher for intermittent flash and water movement. That being said, every bit of my Lucky duck stuff is in the decoy boneyard with broken wires and non-functioning switches, remotes, and main electronic boards.
VERY expensive. Bought 3 and only 1 working at end of season. Just quit??? Told that company won’t sell parts to fix them or sell extra/replacement wings.

I with did that with mojo's for years. But didn't even have to dry them...

All that tech and it's only water resistant? That's a fail for me. Make it waterproof and it's legit 👌
Seems like an awesome product and it’s the way of the future!
I like how the feet actually have claws on them. Props for realism.
Yea the ducks will really see the details
Id like to see some research into the different modes and why the decoy does what it does at each setting.
30 yard distance doesn’t seem far for a remote, right?
That's awesome but what ever happen to the good ol days where it wasn't about the cool pricey toys 😭
That's awesome! Anyway I could walk down that isle and pick one up just like that lol!!

You can hook up multiple, but Avian doesn't provide a number on how many.
Great question.
Wonder how draining that Bluetooth is on your phone battery?
Pretty awesome …..sound activated it is sweet!
How about a goose call will that turn it on
Do you guys realize that guides spray the decoy flat brown? Everything but the wings.
Yeah and some guides paint bleach bottles black… So what?
How about price?? Or did I miss that in the video? Seems like it would be expensive...
300$
Need to give one to Josh @outdoorlimits so I can watch how good it does in the field.

So awesome!
Who makes it? I’m guessing it’s made by MOJO. It has a MOJo stake. I’ve never had a MOJO decoy function 2 years in a row.
I’m a Lucky Duck guy.

The PowerFlight mallard is made by Avian-X.
$180??? The wings are cool looking, but can the ducks tell what's what??
I’m sold
Gotta watch those lithium batteries. Lithium and water can literally catch fire and explode. That’s my only concern
If only it was full on waterproof.
VERY expensive. Bought 3 and only 1 working at end of season. Just quit??? Told that company won’t sell parts to fix them or sell extra/replacement wings.
You got the wings on wrong
What makes you say that? Look at the video at 3:12, so you're seeing it from above/behind.
Everybody copys mojo come up with some different besides the damn wings smh
Should be able to get totally wet an still work if not that's bs an not worth it
A duck decoy that can't get wet... what awesome technology!
Torture test that thing dunk it in the water see what happens
