I’ve gotten to the point to where I don’t use spinners. It eliminates the idea of “I wonder if the spinners are flaring them”. I like working them with just a call, and regular old floaters.
I don’t know if this happens to anybody else but I hunt a open party of a river in the Cali and it’s a pretty good spot got a couple honkers bunch of teal, and mallards and spoonies of course. And we found we had way better luck with the spinners. Kinda makes me question the usefulness of them especially since everyone uses them. I think the birds get wise to them.
Lucky duck teal ony uses AA batteries. Made my own extension pole and a float pole. Float pole uses a crap pot float (Amazon) and counter weight w large decoy anchor for deep water. Works good and like the faster wing beats of teal dek
Dude thanks for the info . My girlfriend got me the aaa battery ones and ibsaw your vidio and didnt even know ..returned and got the 6 volt ..and remotes for about 45 dolars move ..
Great stuff Josh! I have that Rogers bag myself and love it. I have the Mojo brand and manage to get my two pole decoys and a floating spinner body inside the bag. It's awesome, I agree. Good advice to pass along to the newer people you have inspired to duck hunt...Geese hate spinners!
is it due to money or law in your state? if it’s because of money I got my baby drake motorized that comes with the rechargeable battery for $41.37 off a website
The set up looks great Josh!! Just seems a bit dark. Maybe lighten it up a bit with better lighting. Otherwise I'm lovin' the barn wood look!!! Thanks for the vid.

I found you can buy a piece of PVC that you can fit over the tubes to get a bit more height off the water.
Yes you can. I’ve done that before. You just can’t break them down small like the poles
Love the new studio
Thanks for the tip on the madule for the lucky duck. My HD took a dive same as urs and only works sometimes. Gunna get me a new module now. Thanks
That studio is absolutely awesome!! Good job man

You should consider doing a Q & A one day a week or every other week.
Studio looks sick!
Your new setup looks dope
The studio looks awesome man!
This channel inspired me to give the pheasants a little break and try duck hunting this season!
Did you enjoy duck hunting?

I think you should mount a duck or goose where the mallard bro picture is
I would if I had one
I wish i could run electric flappers.... Gotta love that pull cord life 😂

Do you find them to give off too much glare ? They seem quite shiney
Nope
Those work great! In Washington we can only use pull string ducks though haha
Is the module easy to replace?
Yes
Can I use dove mojos for teal?
If the duck is close enough to see that it's a dove mojo they should be dead. My friend uses it and we kills big ducks with them
For sure!
Good video man 🤙🏽

If u buy another one try the mojo king mallard i love minr
Links don’t work… 80% of them …
I really like the finished studio!
I kill geese ever year over water with my spinning decoys going and the geese are feet down in to the decoys.
That is very rare in my experience. From what I’ve seen geese hate them.
Quisiera tener esos patos
Another great video I gave you a sub if you wouldn’t mind sending one my way would be greatly appreciated
How much money do u make from UA-cam
Probably not a lot considering UA-cam hates hunting videos and channels
