    I enjoyed this video - considered some things i hadn't thought of before. Crazy mojo story for you - I had a green wing mojo set up in an impoundment and we had a solo hen teal fly literally right to it - she bounced off it and was kinda just levitating for a second before we shot it haha. I've never seen a duck do that. I've also had a lot of success with dove mojos during dove season. Thanks

    Great video! Any takes on other motion decoys like spitters (pulsators) swimmers etc? Worth buying?

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  Місяць тому +1

      I do like water spray and pulsators do the best at that imo but it has limited use (sunny days). But yes any motion is a plus on low wind days

    Great tips, has anyone ever placed a Spinner where one of the wings lightly catches water?

      @ChasingGreen  Рік тому +1

      Ive heard of that but never tried it!

    Hey man - what about spinners on sunny vs cloudy days? I’m in CA and people freak if you put a spinner out on a cloudy day (oldheads!). Any thoughts? Genuinely curious

    • @ChasingGreen

      Weve had good luck with them on cloudy days but not always. I always try to approach it with just try it and see strategy. Definitely seems to be better on sunny but ive killed a pile on cloudy days. I have pulled them before on cloudy days as well. I think its different every day and you just have to read the birds and try different things.

      I live and die with a spinner and wind whackers... wind whackers hang vertical so they attact full 360 degrees which is why this is a great video how showing angles... I dont care if birds flare because they're "locals"... if you actually sound good, you tricking birds.. I used spinner even when it's pouring rain... all personal preference... I run 3 flock flickers with my mojo constant on.. from an aerial view, it looks amazing... this video is the best I seen for strategy and angles

    For some reason my sub dropped off so I just subbed you guys again. Been watching y’all for years ever since I saw you and Korey smashing those slabs off of that old dock. Kind of curious what part of Arkansas you guys live. I live about 25 minutes north of Little Rock near Searcy. We have some great duck hunting up my also(Bald Knob, Cache River, White River, etc.) Was wondering if y’all had any merch? Have a great season, be safe and blessed!!!

    I have a floating spinner. What’s your thoughts on them?

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  Рік тому

      I like them. But i personally would like to have a stable spinner or two put in the directions i want, mind you this is if your trying to get ducks attention from distance or a particular angle. If your hunting an x and the ducks are already coming, really doesnt matter. The floating ones spin, which i like bc they do look like ducks on the water stretching wings and there giving you flash from multiple angles.

      Ya I see they work best at first light in the morning and last light at night too. The higher the sun gets the less effective they become.

    So face the spinner into the sun, and not the wind as much as possible?

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  Рік тому +1

      No, if my main goal is too attract ducks from a distance aka running traffic, then im facing one of spinners towards the main direction the ducks are flying from. Sometimes, the sun also plays into when it is in the general area of where the ducks are flying from. In that case i try to keep the spinner in line with the sun but thats only when the bird direction allows.

      Ok I see so bird direction, sun direction and wind direction in that order of importance.
