Finally a spinning wing decoy that looks like a duck and not a child’s toy.... my baby mojo finally gave it up this year after about 15 years.... perfect timing on this product
@@tommclarty17 i sense your sarcasm but I’ve used many an avian x and zink product in the past 15 years and none of them... and i mean none of them have failed or have been junk... but I’m with you on vehicles never buy the first year
I got this for a present and it works great for now. The cool thing its also blue tooth so you loose your remote you can use your phone. Lots of cool settings.
Nice hype but come on, its just another spinning wing decoy. You're not killing more ducks cuz its made by avian. There's only 1 main thing u need from a spinning wing. Its the ability to turn it off and on with a remote
Because it looks real, not like a toy. Ducks have great eyesight, this is common knowledge. Plus it's a beautiful item to own. If it fools just one more duck each season, I'm happy.
I wish I hunted mallards so I could get one lol Please make a BWT. Rick and the team at Avian X easily create the best hunting decoys ever made (not to mention innovation). Not even a competition and I know all the best carvers and companies. Not saying there aren’t carvers that do work as well but other decoy manufacturers aren’t able to reproduce them to look anything close to the master carving. Always very impressed!
need something light with big wings for the big water float poles I'm making. The battery spinners that work have too small of wings, the big wing decoys are too top heavy, and the wind ducks are useless on calm days. the "other guys" weren't interested when I spoke them last year..
I love everything about this, the only thing I run into is hunting over water the decoy steaks aren't long enough! But I'll definitely be adding a couple of these to my arsenal!
I get a price of 3/4" conduit in drive the top section of the square stake into the end of it, drill a hole through it and bolt it to keep it from coming apart. Paint it and your good to go
Or I actually use the cabela's brand stakes that can be 5-8' long. I like one (or two) low to the water and one higher up to look like one lagging behind a bit. The screw in base also stays pretty secure. Conduit works well too though.
Nicely done...I'm a believer that it's in the speed too. Keep innovating. I Primarily use lucky teal spinners but this looks awesome. Luv your dekes....hunted over your foam filled redheads in the FL. panhandle w great success in January.
Good question. There is an optimum speed that those wings should spin. Any slower and effectiveness diminishes. Any faster and.....effectiveness diminishes. Plus, I don't like the wings; they show the underside (white) on top half the time. Ducks don't turn their wings upside down.
I have a lucky duck with the newest remote and style. It is way better. This can’t be as water proof as the lucky. It probably cost less but it’s already a lot so might as well get the better one
Only water resistant? I'll pass... great job Rick but all your decoys are amazing. Listen to what Fred said in the beginning..."its a work of art" do you take ART out to hunt over? Looks like it should be in a museum not the field.
Stakes are never long enough notice that.. patent pending doesn't decoy ducks if the stakes to short .. I was looking to make cash money off duck hunters I'd start with the stake

Always a good move to go with a first gen product after using a competitors for 15 years, Travis.

Avian X has excelled in every decoy on the market. Can’t wait to get one as soon as they come out!
Sucker!
Ol Freds stuff is top notch no doubt. These are badass

Here here....i just said so theyll.put a 300 dollar pp on it....wait till sitka comes out w a 1000 dollar decoy!
Agree - Working remote is the most important feature.
On sale this fall at a Cabelas near you for $499.99
That would suck
nitty gritty time. cost of this beauty unit and can I put the wings on the competitors spinning wing decoy
Looks great hope a teal version too
If it had a floating base available I would order it today.
Floating flashers pull ducks better in my opinion
Do you know when the app will be availiable in New Zealand? Is a bugger having the decoy in NZ but can't use the app?
Why do they even bother with the legs? They break off within a month.
Silly don't need legs all you need is the spinning wings
@@dougm7820 Correct. Which is why I asked why they even bother with the legs...

Will a stake extension be sold?

I don’t understand why these spinners are not 100% waterproof
For 300 bucks you would think it would be.
PRetty slick Freddy!
Absolutel game changer product sir! Can't wait to get ahold of one.

When are yall going to make ringneck decoys?
I was set to buy until I confirmed the remote has a max distance of 60 feet/20 yards! Lucky Duck is 300 feet/100 yards.
will there be pull string options?
If they made a pole system like lucky duck, I’d probably buy it
Do the wings float??
Good question. I am curious to know as well
I don't think so, mine feel too heavy to float. Very strong though
Whats the price point for this decoy?
Waaaay to much....get a mojo....lets start showing these companies that their pricing is through the roof

Any chance that it spins too fast and the white doesn’t really show when you look at it from behind?

I don’t think it’s gonna matter
Now we need powerless ones
