If a hearing person that signs is around deaf people, when the hearing person speaks verbally to someone else also there, its polite for the hearing person to sign along with their voice , so no one is left out basically.
I see that I’m not the only one who thinks she is the cutest little girl ever! What a beautiful child and family. Nova seems to be very spunky and clever. I’m sure she will do great things in her future.
I am facial disfigured and took a long time for me to accept myself, society can be very cruel and we need to ensure beautiful children like your daughter are treasured and accepted! I am also in a wheelchair and blind, the package we come in does not matter just what we do with it!, I would suggest you keep signing but also get her an iPad with a communications system it can give her a voice and increase her reading and expressing skills, it will also help with communication with children and others who may not sign. She is beautiful home keep up the good work!

It’s definitely her dark wide set eyes (very attractive feature in girls/women) and also her adorable quiet innocent demeanor that makes her very endearing.
Love & support is so important. They are all lucky to have eachother. To say this child won't struggle is to deny reality but she has some amazing tools that will help her along the way. I was following them on instagram and they dropped off around the time of the pandemic really getting underway. I know they were particularly at risk and fearful because of Novas trach. I think of them often and hope they're all well and safe.

I think it's a condition similar to what the beauty blogger shown has they just don't have a name for it or it's very very rare I think in developing countries there are unfortunately many Conditions similar and even worse limited access to health care I'm sure that there will be someone there with the same condition maybe doctors can compare notes and figure it out
I love that people now have an opportunity to become familiar with all our unique qualities and differences and eventually learn not to judge or make assumptions. I remember being frightened of physical differences as a child because of the way adults responded. I wish I had this opportunity way back then! Nova is a gorgeous little pixie who is obviously much loved, all the best to her family!

Yes there a lot of parents that forget to take care of themselves when they have any sort of special needs child and it really is so incredibly important. The parents well being directly affects the child so if the parents aren’t taking care of themselves it’s going to affect the child negatively and vice versus

They'll often hit thumbs down, using this video as an example, when they see a child with a disability. They're giving the disability the thumbs down thinking the child suffers or struggles. So, it doesn't necessarily mean they don't like the video or like this little girl! It's often for a very benign reason.

I'm physically disabled took first I1 years to get a diagnosis for my genetic disorder. Theres that many genetic & non genetic disorders that have so many similar symptoms especially if they are the rare type it is harder to get diagnosed. I hope you finally get answers. Luckily research & medicine are more advanced these days then when I was younger. Which I am happy about because these days more people are getting diagnosed with my genetic disorder which hopefully maybe one day if funding goes into the research find a cure. But you could say that about every rare illness. I hope she realizes she can accomplish anything in life no matter what is wrong with you. I've got 16 conditions altogether & since my genetic condition got worse I felt like giving up especially that I could no longer do my dream job. I have no bladder nor bowel control, I am blind in one eye, I have to use a wheelchair, only have 1 arm to use, paralysis etc could go on... i really felt like giving up. I started to notice all sorts of people around me with different disabilities doing all sorts with their life. Took a while but i had the courage to throw myself out there. I travel, I've learnt how to drive with one arm, i work, I found love who has been with me every step of the way for the last 10 years (even though he knows the future is uncertain). Never let anyone tell you cant do something. Prove everyone wrong. I really hope she has a long happy life. She is lucky to have such a loving & supportive family. They are lucky to have her also

All I can tell the parents to do is pray pray pray. I prayed for my daughter’s diagnosis for over 3 1/2 years. So many doctors told me all of her problems was “just because”. She ended up having 17q12 deletion syndrome. I was so happy to finally have the answer I was looking for. The neurologist was like I have bad news for you, and I’m like this is great news. I finally have answers. I pray that they get their hands on the right doctors to finally get an answer. I can so relate to these parents because my child was diagnosed as being deaf, nonverbal, and in a wheelchair. So when she took her first steps and started talking it was so overwhelming. Now with multiple surgeries and procedures. She can hear, even though she does have some hearing loss, she can walk, talk, and so much more. ❤️❤️ hang in there the answers will come!

My Thrifty Glam Life it does look very similar, but they said they had genetic tests come out inconclusive. She would probably be diagnosed by now if it were treacher Collins

As someone with Treacher Collins. This is definitely something different. Though I do admit, it does look very similar.
All I can tell the parents to do is pray pray pray. I prayed for my daughter’s diagnosis for over 3 1/2 years. So many doctors told me all of her problems was “just because”. She ended up having 17q12 deletion syndrome. I was so happy to finally have the answer I was looking for. The neurologist was like I have bad news for you, and I’m like this is great news. I finally have answers. I pray that they get their hands on the right doctors to finally get an answer. I can so relate to these parents because my child was diagnosed as being deaf, nonverbal, and in a wheelchair. So when she took her first steps and started talking it was so overwhelming. Now with multiple surgeries and procedures. She can hear, even though she does have some hearing loss, she can walk, talk, and so much more. ❤️❤️ hang in there the answers will come!
Man I’m so happy my daughter was born healthy. Even though this little girl is super adorable and happy my heart hurts for her.
