Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Nobody entertains formal anymore. I want to bring it back within my circle of friends. My mother loved to entertain. I think that is where I got my love of porcelain dishes. Yes, I’m a dish hoarder. 😀
Thank you taking us along. I’ve been very busy caring for my 93 year old mom who fractured her ribs. Returning to to your videos are just what I needed! Thank you 💞
Interesting store and fairly priced. One of the things I enjoy the most from your channel: it is a learning experience every time you share knowledge and detailed information on the items. Thank you and will see you at next video. Have a blessed week! 💜
I have been learning so much from your videos and always enjoying all the fun finds, even playing your videos over and over again and always learn something that I have missed. Thank you for the details and information.
Hi Lady Marybeth I really enjoyed this shopping spree with you.I just wanted to purchase Anna Hutte crystal footed peice.I gave away my full collection years ago and now I kinda wish I had held back 2 peices..😂.Its always a joy to go shopping with you.See you soon❤👍👏
A punch bowl for that price! Gotta bring a suitcase! What a great shop! Baskets are always handy to keep or to give. Wonderful to have so much information on all these beautiful pieces. I would grab that Portuguese candle holder. Love that. X
You could load up on punch bowls here. A viewer in the UK is commenting here that Wedgwood and Royal Doulton can be found affordably. I will bring you punch bowls and you can come to Texas with Jasperware.
What a lovely end of a Sunday! You have taught me so much and I appreciate what I have. My husband and I married in 1974. We started to collect Alana, stem by stem. My daughter has inherited my mother’s Candlewick pattern.
Hi lady Mary Beth,I was looking out for your video, this store has so many beautiful items,I liked some of the silver items ,thank you for your kind message sending much love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh my Lord! When we were dating my husband was always snacking, and the first Christmas I gave him a pig cookie jar like that! You put batteries in it and when you flip his head up it grunts like a pig, it’s so funny and all the kids over the years have loved it. We started dating in 1991 & will celebrate 30 years married in 2024. We still have the pig and he still grunts!🥰
I love your videos of this store - always such a variety of beautiful, quality things at wonderful and fair prices. And you look fabulous! I think your favorite blue and white looks as lovely on you as it must in your home!
I so look forward to go shopping with you when you take us with you. Fun and easy on our purses and wallets. 😄 I spotted the Wexford decanter and the sherberts. Always on the lookout for those pieces 👀. Thank you for sharing. Happy thrifting to everyone.
11:48, those dishes by Haviland that were hand-painted are gorgeous! When I heard you say "hand-painted, " I dropped my jaw. I would definitely buy all of those for that price. What a fun store!
Hi Marybeth, you showed some pretty items as usual. My daughter bought a house a few years ago and the owner had collected glass. They asked if she wanted anything from the house and she told them to leave whatever they wanted. One of the glass pieces was that square bowl that someone uses as a salad plate. She shared some pieces with me. It was like a free estate sale.
@@LadyMaryBeth: I've never researched it. (Edit: my only complaint is that they put the foil sticker right on the top half of the bowl! I'm disinclined to remove it.)
Such a nice store! I have a pair of the triple & double candle holders u showed & I just love them. My power went out the other night, so I had another excuse to use one. I've shopped at Ross for yrs & I've never seen candle holders like those sold there. Wonder if someone just put that sticker there?? Loved all the glassware u shared. I def would've been in trouble. lol Salad is a great idea for those sm dishes! I see them all the time. I may need to pick up a few now! I enjoy finding unique ways to use traditional pieces. Thxs for sharing :-)
Did you find anything? It's been hit or miss for me at that location. The viewer that I met while filming shops the Goodwill near Hwy 6 and Westheimer. Lots of deals there. Will put on my list. Love that you are in Houston. Hosting a private sip and shop and China Baroque near Memorial City. Please join us! Details at www.ladymarybeth.com
You give such an incredible insight to the details that take an artist so much of their time. Are you on t.v. or radio, podcast? You look so professional and knowledgeable and great. Keep up the great work.
I really appreciate you for this. Building my brand one subscriber at a time. It’s my passion and a t.v. spot would be dreamy. Was a guest on Theodore Leaf’s Canyon Home podcast early in the channel. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/canyon-home/id1513071997?i=1000529849205
Such wonderful treasures and super pricing today. I love your videos - they always bring a sense of excitement as I never know what you will find or what I'll learn about. I have a few punch bowls that I use. One is the LE Smith (Daisy and Buttons) that I love and that exact Indiana Glass one you showed - I often use the pedestal as a vessel for other things too. Thank you!
Have always admired the Daisy and Buttons. Remember the one at the Antique Gallery with a silver base? I think you commented on it. I see punch bowls everywhere, looking for a new home.
I have a complete set of service for 8 of the Amber reproduction depression dishes. I use them as my fall dishes. I’d love the golden wheat by Homer Laughlin. On another note I use that milk glass bowl for bath bombs .
Yes! I absolutely realized this after the segment launched. Can you tell I am not sports savvy? My uncle was an NFL quarterback and a cousin was a pitcher in MLB. It skipped me altogether.
So is the antiques market and collecting still strong in America? Because over in the UK, you can't give some of these things away, people's tastes, have changed so much. Blue Wedgwood can be picked up for literally a few pounds. Same with Royal Dalton figurines and cut crystal, you could fill shipping containers, with stuff very cheaply.
I need to head over to the UK to shop. Can hardly believe the deals you mention. The younger generation is fixated on the environment, so thrifting Mid-Century has become popular. Not everyone wants the elegant dish patterns and crystal. Has to be easy care these days. So much, that Waterford produces stemware in Slovenia that is dishwasher safe. It's not the same as classic Waterford and the cuts are not defined.
Thanks for another great video. My father never sprinkled salt on his food; he always poured a small amount on the side of his plate and dipped his food into the salt because he was brought up with open/individual salt cellars. Remember the cruet stand being out on the table at my grandfather’s house with the blue glass liners for the salt cellar and mustard pot along with crystal bottle for malt vinegar.
I really enjoy watching your videos. I simply love dishes and glassware, but my countrywomwn/midwesterners did not inherit the love of tablescapes and entertaining🥲 Watching your videos lets me know I Am Heard and Appreciated💓💓
Why do you always look like a beautiful doll-like woman?
You just do.
It’s the graceful elegance,I suspect.
You make my heart go pitter-patter🥰

The Murano ribbon glass is fabulous with the candies. 🍬🍬🍬

Thank you again for taking us along while you thrift what a wonderful store, loved your education on all the items.
Thanks for watching! 🥰
It was fun shopping with you, Lady Mary Beth, as usual. 😊👍💖

Small world! 💙💙💙

You have a good eye! Oh, those sherbets were tempting.
Lots of very nice items 😊❤
The Haviland leaf dishes are fabulous! 🍁🍂🍁

I was tempted, but no need to buy just to store in a box. Would be perfect for Fall.

Glad they left her some great glass pieces! How fun to shop her new home. Wow!
Thank you for a fun and informative video!!
Chaffing dishes are very handy during extended power outages. You can still warm food up in them.
True! We have a gas range, so we can be hurricane ready. Living on the Texas Gulf Coast, we are always on high alert.
So many nice things
Could fill up my car with the pretties.
I've purchased a set of 12 Villeroy and Bock wine glasses at Marshalls, along with some other lovely cyrstal pillar candleholders, over the years....
V&B is near and dear to my heart. You would LOVE the factory town a short drive from our village. Which stem pattern? I am thinking Boston.

And I’m looking forward to your shopping event at China Baroque on Oct 6th!!💙💙

@@LadyMaryBeth I'm also into blue and white Willow. I just found a mixed Bowl blue but they have more clothes than decor
Wonderful pieces in this trip - especially the triple candle holder. Hope all is well 💖💚
