Dinner parties are becoming a sadly lost art,I have always tried to emulate my parents and grandparents ideals(money talks, wealth whispers and elegance is silent)your elegance shines through every video,I hope the younger generations see how beautiful antiques can still be incorporated in today's modern mind set.😀
I agree the younger folks are minimalist they just don't set a pretty table anymore...they don't really cook fancy dinners either if they only knew that china makes even pot pies taste elegent haha.
What wonderful finds today!! And guess what...I knew that was Waterford crystal before you told us. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge. It has made my selections in the stores so much more rewarding and elegant!!!
You made some wonderful purchases in this store. I listened to you, and I found a Waterford crystal small bowl at my local Goodwill store. If I never watched all your wonderful videos, I would have never looked at all the glass items and would have missed the great Waterford find. I have watched every video that you have, and I love them all. Thank you for sharing your thrifting shopping and your tablescapes.
What great finds - love the elegant etched glasses and beautiful selections of china patterns. You certainly have a knack for finding some hidden treasures. Thank you for the virtual shopping trip!
I found your channel about a month ago and have enjoyed watching several videos. (I shared with my sisters, too). Those Libby glasses were beautiful What a nice resale shop.
I love both Mariposa(1987-2006) and Petite Fleur(1981-). They are so versatile with all the colours that are so mild and calm so you will never get tired of these patterns. And the price for this Mariposa set is a joke.
Hi Mary Beth! Have you ever thought about doing a show on preparing the table for a proper English Tea? Or something similar to that? I am researching proper protocols and collecting antique china and silver or silver plate to accompany. I am making antique china plate tiered serving pieces. And of course researching different recipes for tea sandwiches and delightful sweets, small fruits. I know in Germany they have their version as well. I have planned larger events for charities in the past but now just want to do my own home table scapes. You present everything in the most entertaining and elegant way if you could do something like this I know it would be a huge hit. Would love your presentation and your ideas on this topic. Thank you for your consideration. I never miss a show!❤️
What a beautiful shop! It's amazing how many wonderful thrift charity shops are there with exceptional prices! I love all crystal items and the German steins are so special! I love also how all item's are respected and displayed! Thank you for sharing all the beautiful. 🌺🌺🌺
I always look forward to and enjoy your videos. Exciting when you find Waterford! That shop had some great inventory. It was fun to go along with you today. Thank you.
Morning lady Mary Beth, always lovely to come around with you ,we’re getting ready for the queen’s jubilee, lots of people are going to have street parties ,I will watch on tv ,I think you see more on tv ,our queen is looking very fragile,my mom was born the same year ,same month ,she would of watched if she were still here much love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a great resale market! And you found some lovely items! I enjoy watching your videos and learning about the different dish patterns and glassware. Thank you, Lady Mary Beth! 😊
What a beautiful etched vase! At an estate sale this week I saw three Waterford flowers: a rose, a sunflower, and a tulip. They were so beautiful....especially the rose. Thank you for a great video.
Hi Lady Marybeth!!! I really enjoy your shopping trips while in my bed .🙂.I am glad you found the waterford small bowl.Sometimes I get lucky too.Cant wait for the next.
Such wonderful treasures! I am anxious for garage sale season to start here in Grosse Pointe. I still regret not purchasing an entire Waterford collection at an estate sale years ago - I fondly refer to it as “the one that got away”. I’m hoping your good fortune rubs off on me this season. Another exciting video, MB - thank you 💛💙
Ok I’m confused because there were several items you said were going home with you and also the piece at the beginning but you only showed the 3 items at the end. Did you change your mind or did they get edited out. Loved everything you presented. I think you can sell anything to everyone. So enjoyed the trip
I finally am getting matching dishes, glasses and flatware. Most of my stuff came from trash day and is mismatched. I will never have an elegant table scape, but now I have matching dinnerware. I think your chinoiserie inspired me to chuck out my colorful mismatched junk for a blue and white color pallette.
Such lovely finds today! I have the same pair of Belgium candle sticks! They are fabulous! I found them at my local Salvation Army thrift store for $12!! Can you believe it! Thank you!
I have some of those Colonial Bell dishes with the bird, basket and yellow luster rims (Ohio or West Virginia), had three of them across a fireplace mantle back in the seventies. I encourage young people to collect old Ohio dishes, no longer being made in America.
Ohio glass as well and Indiana glass Pa. Glass West Virginia. So much glass in Ohio. Tiffin Fostoria Findlay Libbey and Southeast Ohio as well. So many companies at one time there were more glass companies in Findlay than anywhere else. You can always find tons of EAPG at Antique Malls. Hope you have great shopping trips.
We love watching your videos and your etiquette is impeccable, however in your intro when you cross your legs it looks like you may need to use the bathroom. Thank you so much for your content it is addicting, and your knowledge of antiques helps us find our own treasures at home.
NOT AT ALL ! WRONG! It doesn’t look like that at all. Mary Beth is actually standing extremely appropriate and lady like. This is a stance that elegant woman have stood for generations. I see nothing but elegance. So sorry you don’t recognize that. Don’t change a thing MB it’s a lovely stance and photograph of you! I have loved that elegant photo every time I see it!
Wow! Another 3$ Waterford bowl! I wish I had stores like this to shop. You find the most beautiful things!

Elegance is definitely understated.
Need to find paper and pencil to write down your quote. I never it before
@@barbaraploetz1004 My grandmother told me that my whole life....she was a true lady and I still miss her pithy remarks 😀

Enjoy watching your videos, the Waterford dish is lovely. 🌹💓🌹
Those Portuguese candle sticks are perfect. Such prices. Beautiful champagne coupes. X
I had to fend off the shoppers while filming. Customers were coming in and wanting the candlesticks while I was filming. I was there first! 💪🏻

I am always attracted to red and pottery.
What a beautiful etched vase! At an estate sale this week I saw three Waterford flowers: a rose, a sunflower, and a tulip. They were so beautiful....especially the rose. Thank you for a great video.
Were these the long Waterford stems? I have the rose a friend gave me. Waterford also made domed paperweights with a tulip, daffodil, and rose. 🌷🌹
Yes, they were the long stems. Exquisite. $60.00 each but I didn't buy them. Just don't have the room to store them but I enjoyed them in the moment.
Very nice 🇺🇸👍💕
I Love the Glass that you found💜💜
Such good prices, too. ☺️
Hi Lady Marybeth!!! I really enjoy your shopping trips while in my bed .🙂.I am glad you found the waterford small bowl.Sometimes I get lucky too.Cant wait for the next.
I just returned from a Florida vacation and seeing your message. Thanks for watching. The Waterford bowl was a sweet surprise. 🥰
You can also paint lamps and shades. I have been doing this for years.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing this tip on painting lamp shades. 💡

We all have those regrets. Waterford will be waiting for you when you least expect it. 🤞
You are correct - I will find it … someday 😎
I'm surprised you don't work for QVC or have a news segment. I think you're fabulous ❤️
You are so kind. I wish! 🥰
Lady Mary Beth is WAY ahead in elegance for QVC. She is in her perfect place. 🌷🥰

Love the idea of a blue and white collection as a base color for your tabletop essentials. It’s almost like a neutral. 💙🤍

Wow! You obviously have an eagle eye to find such beautiful Val St. Lambert candlesticks. 🦅 👁
