I think it is really unique to find someone that knows a lot about all types of antiques. The bonus is that Mary's know how is not drawn out and boring. In 30 minutes you learn a lot.
Dear Mary, thank you for the pin, I appreciate it so much. I am an amateur collector of Japanese Porcelain, and would appreciate your knowledge on the subject. Especially the Porcelain that originated from the Saga Prefecture, a small town called Arita in Japan. Would be so much appreciated. Kind regards from New Zealand
@25:15 Just picked this set up including the oval dish. I didn't have the hear to break up the set! While at Mam's, I was talking with two other shoppers and told them about the channel. One of the ladies handed me her phone so I could find the channel for her. I also showed her the subscribe button 😎as well as the description section of the video for the store address. While doing this, someone who works at MAM brought up the video while I was checking out. I made sure to let them know that the ONLY reason I was at the store was because of the video (serious). Thank you for another quality video!
Great video thank you for sharing. Switching it up just a little bit and I liked it. Also enjoyed your editing you’re putting together great videos keep up the great work. good finds also.😊
I love old English chintz pieces💖 you found a gem, and the gift suggestion to pair it with the afternoon tea recipe book is just deightful....your gift ideas are always "chef's kiss" perfection!!!
Hooray! One of the best resale shops ANYWHERE has a new location and Mary Beth is taking us on a guided tour! 🎉 It's just as spectacular as the original store and you found so many pretty things to share with us. I can't believe how good their prices are! I'm a few days late on this one. It's been a busy couple of days and I don't like having to stop in the middle of "our" shopping trip, so I waited until I could watch it without interruption and not too late. I'm not chancing missing something because I'm sleepy! 😂 Hope you picked up some wonderful new things yesterday on your return trip - I'm banking on you picking up some pieces from that tea set! You deserve it! 💕
That pitcher with the long spout was probably for watering plants! Love that someone made an attractive one in ceramic! Vintage pottery is the best! Oh, and those Beatrix Potter characters are too adorable! And that silver tea set was GORGEOUS!🥰
You always look so elegant.... wowsers wonderful price on the Waterford ...I love love your shows ....I hope you show us some of the rodeo ..only if you go ....thank you so much for sharing ....
Love your videos because you always share helpful and interesting information. I especially enjoy gifting ideas and how to use a thrifted item in various ways.
My Goodwill has the best cookbooks. They are almost always new and great for gifting if I can part with it, $3.99 for hardbacks. My Betty Crocker is so worn. You know it’s loved when there are stains on the pages and the cover is a little dog eared. Priceless!!
Thank you LMB. I enjoyed shopping vicariously with you. I am on a thrift shopping fast and this is the next best thing. MAM is a great charity resale . The selection wowed me and you got some nice things today. You looked so beautiful in your outfit today and so cute in the cowboy hat at the end of the video. If I were there I couldn't resist the 4 floral mugs. The chintz bowl matches the chintz tray that I keep in my bedroom to toss jewelry in that i haven't put away yet.
You are an excellent presenter and I always learn something new. I have learned a lot of new ways to incorporate most of what I already have. I really wish we had more stores like y’all have in our area.
What beautiful things you have down there! The tea set is exquisite. I think the second jug is for hot water. The tea in the teapot is usually made too strong for some people, then the hot water in the second jug can dilute it. Just take the whole set. You deserve it!!
Just saw your visit with the shoes and purses. I'm going today. I have 3 pair of Rothys and I love them. I feel so "aware" of climate authenticity and look great! MAM, perfecto.
What a lovely resale store -thank you for bringing us along. My favorite items, hands down, is your right hand ring you are wearing. It is truly beautiful 💖💚
Lady Mary Beth you looked adorable in your Texas Cowboy Hat! Your Ring and sweater looked so nice on you too. You're always so stylist (on a budget)...Can't believe the deals you found like your new Brahmin handbag! This was fun going along with you to MAM looking at the selection offered . I learn a lot from you about designer merchandise and what to look for. Thank you for your hard work making each Video very interesting and a learning experience! Blessing to you an your family!! 🌼🌷🌼🌷🌼
Mary Beth I hope you can help me. I was watching your vlog German Thrifting and you found a cake plate that was clear and had pebbley flowers around it with some matte or etching around the rim. I believe you said it was from Vetreria and you were going to do further research on it. I was hoping you could let me know what you found as I just found the exact same one at my local Goodwill. Thank you so much. BTW LOVE your channel!
Swooning over the tea service! Just exquisite Art Nouveau design on that set....I hope you took home a piece with that monogram that fits with your maiden name!!! ( still watching so now I'm on the edge of my seat!)✨❤✨
Thought of you after seeing your latest episode. Will shop there again on Wednesday and look at the set. Was hard thinking I would break it up by purchasing one piece. 😗
As always a wonderful trip with you thrifting...I love your channel and the care you put into making it a viewing pleasure. You have a very classy format which appeals to more tasteful viewers...Just saying 🙂
I always enjoy your shopping tours, but I couldn't stop looking at your gorgeous ruby ring. Thrift store shopping is the only way I choose to decorate my home. More bang (bling) for the buck. TC

My favorites this episode: That Loewe bag was a steal at $250 The Jimmy Choo platform sandals Mikasa floral plates The rodeo section would've been fun to peruse. The YSL shoes were well priced but I feel were too trendy with the chunky front and now look a little dated, IMO.
Hello Lady MaryBeth, thank you so much for showing us the 2nd MAM shop. It looks fabulous! I still need to get in touch with you after seeing you at China Baroque. Margie
Hi Mary Beth, I recently found your channel and I love it, thank you so much for all your information, I wanted to share with you maybe a new location in Benbrook , Tx maybe 39 minutes from Dallas it's called the antique mall right on Benbrook Ave, I actually live in Houston too, I come here to visit my son and grandchildren
Own Louboutin Decollete 554 100, Pigalle 100, Fifi 45, kitten heels with ankle straps and D’Orsay kitten heels. Most, if not all, styles of Louboutin shoes fit differently. As with all shoes, leather and suede will stretch/give more than patent leather which is more important with Louboutin shoes because of the way different styles fit. Pigalle shoes were tight so sized up on Decollete because of narrow toe box which was a bad choice - my feet slide forward leaving a gap at the heel. Decollete have become ‘valet parking only’ shoes and will be going on consignment. Fifi and kitten heels with ankle straps are my true size and very comfortable. D’Orsay kitten heels are my true size but slip out of them so they will,be going on consignment. As an FYI, the numbers after the style name refer to heel height - higher the number, higher the heel.
I had a dream about you. You were going through the house of a very famous person She was an actress Retired. She had many things, but she could not take them with her You are selling them for her. .You had 2 people with you helping you. I asked you about a particular item And you whispered in my ear that that tiny little figurine was worth twelve hundred dollars. .I asked you if you should tell the owner. And you said They cannot take these with them. I don't know if it was because the people who owned it passed away. Probably. Because I tried to speak to the retired actress She looked at me and faded. As if she was not here In this life any more. I think you are a good person. And an inspiration.
Interesting dream! Hope we always find deals like this. As you mention, they cannot take it with them. It's good that we are embracing treasures from the past.
I like all your videos but don't want to bore you with compliments. It's hard not to though cause every video is a new adventure in the past and present.
MaryBeth is showing you how to shop affordably. She is not encouraging anyone to shop all the time. She is fortunate to be in Texas with many great high end offerings. Dear Lady Beth, I anticipate each of your presentations!! I am a lover and dedicated collector of Wonderful WEDGWOOD & LUXURIOUS LENOX (USA BACK STAMP). I don't know if u have time to read each comment. On your intro u highlight certain items. I am enthralled by a large teapot (item #10 in your intro) I found to be stunning and wanted to know if u might identify it for my future hunts!! I am also a teapot addict having discovered Gibson Teapots and F & F. I appreciate your knowledge which u share so generosity. Respectfully, Bob

Glad you liked it! A viewer in NYC called the store and bought the Quadraplate tea set. They shipped it to her.
