Nice taste test and review. Looks like you might have found another keeper. You have lots going on this year. I love trying new tomato types that I haven't grown before, and you guys are doing a lot of that this year. I figure if you can find one or two keepers a year, it was a good one.

Thanks tons! Too true. Our family has been hit by setback after setback this year and all of the energy was funneled into the yard and what we wanted it to be to make up the difference. Now we have been so happy and enthused for continuing the process that we won't be looking back anytime soon. Next will be the problem of not being able to keep them all. A fantastic problem to have!

Yep, as far as problems go, that's a good one to have 😀

Thanks a bunch! One of our favorite flavored tomatoes. A near must grow for us every year now. :)

Thanks to your videos, I just build a trellis and planted Japanese Black Trifele in my garden for the first time. Love from Costa Mesa, Southern California.

Thanks a bunch! Usually try to stay away from showing favoritism towards tomatoes since each has their own opinions, but this is one it is super hard not to highly recommend. Really happy to hear you are growing it and our #1 for making sauce with. :)

Thanks tons! This is a fantastic tomato and super eager for as many people to try it as possible. A real standout flavor. Our favorite use is sauce. It is a bit runny so may need to use a paste tomato as well for thicker consistency but the flavor of the B. Trifele is so good for it. :)

Guys you had our mouths watering! Those tomatoes look so good. We just started this year and grew cherry tomatoes. We were so amazed on how tasty home grown is.Love your channel and just gets us excited on what to plant next year. That rain sure has done some damaged. While you guys are drying tomatoes we are running around drying hydrangeas lol! Awesome video!💚💚💚💚💚💚

Thanks a bunch! This tomato was so good, productive and resistant to our tough situation that it quickly became one of our favorites. We tried it since the reviews speak so highly of the flavor and wanted to see if there is anything to compete (for us) with the Cherokee Purple. Pleasantly surprised that it is its own sort of thing and in some ways better and some worse. A definite keeper for us now though. Really good stuff. Thanks again!

I've been wanting to try this one for some time now! I'm getting very impatient for our forever home!

Thanks tons! This is a really great flavored tomato. Especially for sauces. A forever home seems so far away. Until then we are technically land owners with the soil in the buckets. LOL

Looked like a nice mater and sounded like it tasted real good! You know if ya get those totes off the ground will allow them to drain better. Use some gravel for the footer should work out great. Hope you folks have a great weekend!

Thanks a bunch! A really good saucing tomato for us and tasted ready made. :) On the totes we usually only have the drainage up a bit on the sides and none on the bottom unless we can bottom water. Our climate is very dry and retaining moisture is our biggest problem most of the time and we also have a leaky hose we try to rarely turn on because of problems with it. It helps a lot when most of our stuff is hand watering or done quickly, but these flash rains we get this time of year can be a big issue. I'm thinking on the back stuff though it could really use some more holes to help and a little bit of tilt. Thanks again tons!

Thanks tons! It really is a great one for that. Love this tomato and missed it in the yard the past couple of years trying out some of the other chocolate/brown tomatoes. Giving it another go this season though. A really great type.
