Interesting to see the comparison. The flavor of the Odapeno gets better when they are ripe. They get fully red when ripe. I shared this to my facebook page.

Thanks tons! Wishing I had gotten a few of these ripe and a definite regrow next year for a try. I think the best pepper I have ever had was a ripe Oda and can see that great flavor in the Odapeno too. Really appreciate you sharing this great type with us. :)

Thanks a bunch! We love Jalapeno Cheese bread over here and would be visiting constantly like drug addicts to get some if we lived closer. LOL Angel has gotten tough on the heat for sure. Good luck on the overwintering. :)

Thanks a bunch! Completely understand the heat dislike. We are not fans of hot peppers either but too many fun types to grow. Any way we can numb the heat out like cooking or pickling is almost always used. Angel has been getting tougher on these though and too brave for me. LOL
