- Are you confused about how to write a strong thesis statement? Lost on where to begin?
Writing a STRONG thesis statement is really hard, it can be very overwhelming for beginners. The goal of this video is to help you understand your essay and give you examples so you can write a strong and clear thesis statement.
I first walk you through the purpose and goals of a strong thesis. Next, I tell you the major pitfalls people fall into when writing a thesis and how to avoid them. Then, I explain, model, and provide an example of how to write a CLOSED thesis statement. I also, go over how to write an OPEN thesis and the PROS and CONS of both. I then go in-depth with you by writing an OPEN and CLOSED thesis in my Batman example. The whole goal is to give you lots of examples of clear and focused thesis statement so that you can write one yourself. Finally, I give you ways to edit and focus your thesis statement.

hi sir! this helped me on how to write a thesis statement, but can you suggest or make a video how to make your own topic from a theme? because whenever our teacher lets us write essays and he only gave us a theme not a topic because we will be the one doing the topic. ill be really glad if you could do that

@@MisterMessinger almost like your favorite but not quite , just what’s the best of it kind to you . For example I choose Revlon makeup which was way to broad I could of easily choose a fried chicken recipe

My video coming out this Tuesday will really help you but first brainstorm all the reasons people have conflict with others. Then pick and choose 2-3 reasons to write about. Then write your thesis like this....people have conflict with others....and list your reasons.
