I've had this for about two years now. It's awesome, especially for singles and couples. No need to heat up a whole conventional oven when cooking for only 1 or 2 people.

We bought this oven about 3 months ago and we haven't used our inbuilt, oversize, digital, programable, hard to clean bla bla bla oven since....really !!...this little gem heats up in about 3 mins....Great for me cooking frozen pizza when I have been drinking and need food NOW !!...this oven cooks anything....truly...we are going to buy another one for our outdoor area too. $300 here in Aus but I can't say enough for this oven....absolutely brilliant !!

maybe it sounds stupid, but how do you turn completely off this oven? the start/cancel button only starts or stops a task. should i wait until the panel lights fade (but still visible) or just unplug the chord for solving rhe problem?

I just bought one 2 days ago and so far this is awesome, I cannot wait to do a lot of cooking. I haven't had a oven in 12 years I been using Toaster ovens and I wanted something better, a cheap toaster oven don't last very long. We went to 5 stores looking for a toaster oven because again they don't last very long, the toaster oven I had was burning my food no matter what temperature you put it on, it got so hot even the lower temperature and it still burn my food even though you cooked it for less time, no more I needed a new one and none of the stores had toaster ovens. They said you have to order on line, well no thank you I want one now. When we got home My husband search and search on the internet looking to see who has toaster ovens in their stores. He finally found one at Best Buy and he said it cost a lot but it will be worth it, I said lets do it, However we had to drive to DC because Maryland does not have any in their stores. Therefore, after I came home from Church we drove to DC. I been so excited since then, like a big kid.....lol.... I love my Breville Smart Oven and it fits the name SMART.

Best counter top oven on the market !! Definitely worth the money !! I LOVE my "Easy bake" oven !! I bake cookies, pizza, appetizers, pork roast , cobblers..it toast evenly and makes beautiful homeade croutons .. basically if it fits it will cook it. .. we use this more than we do our large oven. It bakes rather evenly and throughly but when doing pizza I rotate halfway through baking. The preset features are pretty much exact to the timing it takes and you can manually adjust give or take a few second/minutes if needed. Three rack positions depending on what setting you need. And its wrote on the window so there is no guessing. If the rack is on center position the rack will glide out when you open the door due to a magnet on the door.. I wish the other two positions had this as well especially the bottom for pizza. My oven is almost 6 years old and I have never had any issues with it. And if I ever do I will definitely rebuy the same one...the one thing to remember is the wattage is a little higher than your typical small tin can toaster oven. I tripped my breaker at first because I had too much running on that circuit.. Moved the oven and all was great. I only wish Breville made large kitchen appliances :) You will not be disappointed in the quality or performance.. Also my MIL bought one for herself after trying and seeing what mine does.

Well, I do love it ... but ... today I baked some homemade fresh bread ... why in the hell would they have top burners on for normal baking. I never notice it and it burnt the top of my bread. Is there a setting that does not use the top heaters? And I did not use convection ...

"Convection heat actually makes things darker on the outside". Well. You needed that, for that chicken, and, if it was cooked on convection, (and, I believe that it was), it certainly could've used some more time! That chicken, did NOT look done. Gonna have to be more brown and crispy to get, "done" props, for me. That's all.😏😉

I think your products are nice but it's an irresponsible gesture to say things like "give up the guilt" of making fries the conventional way when there is a load of medical evidence that using fat as a source for cooking and an ingredient of your foods is quite the opposite of "unhealthy" as commonly misunderstood by the general public as a direct response to an industry lie in the 60s. But I'm sure you're aware of that already.
