Adams guitar style is so unique being able to see his hands has unlocked so many riffs I didn't know how to play or were playing wrong. Like the "solo" in Stinkfist. I was playing it down the neck with open strings for years and it sounded okay until I saw he went all the way up the neck to the high octaves on the low strings and as soon as I played it that way it was a revelation.

I was at this show! They played 3rd eye in this set also. Great show!
Is that Maynard back there with a guitar during Triad?? I’m so confused haha. I mean they’re still great now but this had to be the best era by far to see Tool live
Yeah he played a Strandberg guitar
Amazing ♡ sweet memories..especially now
damn it would be so awesome if they played any of these songs live nowadays...every song on Lateralus is an absolute masterpiece.....and an absolute wonder to behold live in person....🤘🤘🤘🤘😎💯
