I feel so honored to be one of the top 100 at 0:58! Once again it was a blast creating it and being part of this amazing challange and community! These animations were all so unique and inspiring!
Ping Pong Boy at 5:51 was my favorite render, respect to all the other artists, but I really thought it deserved first place by far and away. That was an especially beautiful and emotional render. It's a particularly unique concept, it tells the story of a boy without arms who is trained by the wind to become a ping pong champion.
yeah the judges have constantly slept on the best animations, even in the past entries. They often go for the "wow" factor. If it doesn't have BIG action, it ain't winning. Sucks for the ones who actually deserved to win.
Not trying to get any points from you but that submission was the only one to give me a physical reaction. I was praying that someone would include Faith in this. She deserves it, and you deserve top 5 in my book. (I don't have an actual book)

It is seriously amazing how each artist is able to create such a unique render, easily immersing the viewer in the fictional worlds in such short clips, makes you really wonder how much talent and skill there is out there.
A lot of these artists did the assignment, 6:39 "understood" the assignment. The element of kinetics and motion were a part of every aspect of the scene. Everyone did brilliant work.
Dude, imagine playing this one 8:24 It's got some sick ideas, kinda reminds me a bit of Prototype for some reason. But yeah, just like cool as hell and the story can be so fascinating

I can’t explain it but this showcase of different artists ideas and perspectives makes my eyes water a little bit. Genuine feelings of wonder and excitement are hitting me. I’m just happy that creativity is so very much alive everywhere. I want to play all of these games, watch all of this movies/shows. I love that these people exist.

I'm 32 started learning blender a year ago. Big reason why is because I wanted to create my own short stories, I hope I'm not old for this and one day I could create something like this. Thanks for the inspiration
You are never too old for anything that isn't physical. Also man, 32 is nothing. I started learning Blender at 31, that was 8 years ago. Frankly, I had a veeeeery slow development in the program, but I took my time to find out, what I actually want to use those skills for. And now, having worked for a whole year on loads of assets, I am short before publishing a fully animated show. At age 39. Which is still not that old.
Lol 32 being 'old', generations now have such a tough time just trying to survive and pay the rent (which will be for life since we'll never own a home) that we're lucky if we can even start trying to learn or achieve what we WANT to spend our time/energy on by our 30's. I've known exactly what I want, or in my bones feel like I NEED, to do since I was a teen, only now at 30 do I barely have enough financial freedom to start chasing it and create my art, rather than what I have to do for survival. It's the sad state of the world we're born into, BUT it is NEVER too late you only get one life so never give up or think that the time has passed because it hasn't, you can learn anything in 3-6 months with everyday dedication

Please understand I'm not trying to minimize anything about it, nor come off as a snob. It's just, none of the central topics are anything I'm particularly interested in. The human capacity for creativity and talent never ceases to amaze me. And the amount of world-building and visual storytelling you can do in 5 seconds is staggering. Hollywood could learn a thing or two from these pwnisher render challenges.

Please understand I'm not trying to minimize anything about it, nor come off as a snob. It's just, none of the central topics are anything I'm particularly interested in. You can also read that as: I don't have enough insight about these topics to independently seek out a video such as this.
MY POINT THOUGH, is that I'm so effing impressed with y'alls' collaboration. To call this "beautiful" would be an such an understatement I feel it's actually insulting. Like, "beautiful" wishes it could be what this film is. _suddenly becomes aware of overbearing rambling_

I cant shake the fact that each of these montages are peak animation... every single 6 seconds scene has an entire lore and the fact u can understand and notice the characters emotions in each of these scenes in such a low time remembers me why i love animation so dawn hard... thanks for another compilation of these magnific artists

All so good. Apart from a few existing IP fans, many of these are almost new IP worlds ready for gaming or animation movies.
