Can you please clarify: Does it need a power source plugged in always? Or is the unit itself rechargeable, so that I can disconnect the incoming power and use it untethered to power an end-use device?
Hi Thank you, please could you tell me : i have like you a Line 6 effect pedal HX STOMP ; and where can i found the cable to Mission engineering go to Hx Stomp please. Thank for you answer.
As long as you use a battery power bank or wall charger that supports 15V on USB-PD, then this should work. We haven't tested the PZ Pre, but we have tested with the Tonebone Classic which has a similar power requirement, and that works fine.
Depending on the pedals there should be enough power but the Stomp normally needs to be on it's own isolated power supply otherwise in generates noise. You'd likely need one 529M for the stomp and another one for the other pedals
@@JamesLebihan Thanks James. I've already watched that. Mission makes several "529's." I don't see anywhere that you compare them all. There's a 529, a 529i, a 529M, a 529X... and there are combinations. I think the quality and concept are really good, and I want to buy one, but I want to buy the RIGHT one, and not regret the choice later when I realize the feature I really needed was another model or combination. Quality isn't cheap, I understand that, but that means mistakes are costly. None of your talk resources really give us a global picture. And yes, I've found some descriptions on your web page but nothing that ties it all together. I'd have made the purchase last night but I hesitate because I can't just throw a few hundred around until I find the right match or combination. At the moment I'm looking at 2 529M's and a 529X, by the way, but I have several pedal boards and I want the power setup to be scalable and movable. Thanks again for your time.
In the video I used a Naztech power bank. The specific model is no longer available but they have new ones: naztech.com. The 529M will work with most USB-PD enabled power banks themissionspace.com/choosing-a-usb-power-bank/
6v 9v 12v 15v 18v 3000mA... Could any 2.1mm cable handle that??

can i connect hx stomp and another 3 mini pedals ?

A little more talk talk and a little less thump thump would go a long way to explaining this product.
