Have you ever tried/tested the Myvolts ripcord? Supposedly a 9v 1a powersupply (although it claims max power output 12w) and supposedly works with the Stomp. Although a second one I'm testing just shuts off, probably due to overheating. I assume the stomp sometimes demands more power, just now it did that with Poly Sustain block in constant use.

the back of the HX stomp stays "9V 3A". but it looks like you are powering it with only 2 amps...
will the HX Stomp work safely when only being powered by 2 amps? what are the drawbacks of only using a 2 amp power supply?

it depends where you measure it and how much headroom you want to supply. The HX Stomp consumes about 9W in normal use, that's 1A at 9V. Since the stock power supply that Line 6 provides has a 3A rating, that's likely why this is what's printed on the unit. Both Mission and Line 6 have tested the 529 HC with the HX Stomp and it is approved for use.

Can 529 HC be or any other single 9v out models be used with daisy chain to power HX Stop with few other mini pedals? So total will be like 4 pedals HX included

Thank you for this. I will try and use a pololu u3v70f9 step up converter. Is there a way to go into the converter with a usb-c cable? My power bank can provide 3A through usb-c. But i dont know if it works with all that power delivery stuff going on with usb-c..
