My 600-lb Life is an American reality television series that has aired on the TLC television network since 2012. Each episode follows a year in the life of morbidly obese individuals, who usually begin the episode weighing at least 600 pounds (270 kg), and documents their attempts to reduce their weight to a healthy level. Update episodes, called "Where Are They Now?", feature one or more previous patients, picking up a year or more after their original episodes aired.
Patients are placed under the care of Iranian-American Houston surgeon Younan Nowzaradan (often referred to as simply "Dr. Now"), who first has them attempt losing weight on their own by following a strict diet, and then depending on the patient's progress may offer gastric bypass surgery or sleeve gastrectomy to further assist in weight loss. - Розваги

No I’m not mad that she is helping but she needs to help herself too just seems very hypocritical I hope they all get healthy I understand the struggle of addiction I use to be addicted to oxys and they was hard to quit and food would probably be harder you have to eat something I don’t think I would be off pills if I had to take 10 mg a day while I’m starring at 1000s of pills

It must be awful. Not being disrespectful here but obese people have an unwashed smell that is not pleasant. Most obese people I have passed in the street smell bad.
Good hygiene seems to go as they struggle to take proper care of themselves.
@@ghostdemon7936 it can also be tied to depression, the bigger you are the higher the chance you'll get depressed having to live that way and you might not have the strength to take a shower most days. and the people who get on my 600 pound life are the people who never break out of that cycle

@@PhillyAnthonyD My dad was in a nursing home for 8 years ... and got bathed twice per week. The people aren't working or exercising, so that's enough to keep them clean.
Most suprising for me are relatives who concider themselves as normal bu thay are all overweight

Enablers are murderers. So what if the patient gets angry for not receiving the gluttunous desired food. What they gonna do? Hit you with their fat? Just let the obese person vent, n bring them a big veggie platter/salad with protein ( chicken,beef, fish...)

I just love the tragic piano chords you always hear with these stories. I notice boy friends/sons/kids are usually the caregivers. What a life!
One of my favorite things in these shows is the drive-through orders! They order enough for 20 people.
Oh my word, just horrid! I have a few health issues that makes it so I can't eat much of anything, and those ppl eat such large portions of everything. LOL I don't know if I am horribly disgusted or slightly jealous! LOL Oh my gosh and the smells have got to be stomach turning.
And think, with all those pancakes, biscuits, hamburger buns, CANDY, syrup, what is their blood sugar like?!? Their blood is probably _hummingbird food!_

The amount of takeaway and delivery food is off the scale. With the cost of living I xan afford just enough. No takeaways, no deliveries. Yet they eat family size meals...EACH.

That's one pension! Pays to be fat for sure. Not that I advocate it but an enabling system that pays enough to buy all that food just contributes to the problem.
If they were in Universal Credit benefit here in the UK I could almost guarantee they would NOT be living that life.

I don't think all that breakfast food was for Dominic. I think it was half for him and half for his brother. Why would he order food only for himself when they both live in that van? Edit: You can see on the video that they are _both_ eating that food.

Some of these people eat as much in one meal as I do in a week. I get bored with eating if I I have too much in front of me. I’m a normal weight for someone my height and age. I don’t know how people get in this condition.

I don't think that all big people are mean, but this sort of lifestyle really only leads to depression and self hatred. You can't get this big unless you have some sort of mental health problem or physical illness. Some of them seem like geuinely good people - others are just entitled and brainwashed from the constant cycle of eating, sleeping, and never working for what they have.
