    I ride 2 wheels now but grew up on quads. I can appreciate a nice build when I see one…and this is one. 👏🏻

      Thanks! It was certainly a labor of love. I grew up on dirt bikes then switched to quads. Haha

    That quad belongs in a museum or art exhibit. Nice work! I know how much effort goes into this level of build

      Thank you! It rides as good as it looks. The PEP shocks, Roll Design A-arms and Walsh swing arm are unreal. 🔥 Do you fly helicopters?

    This bike is a solid build. I just installed my Urmossi bar clamps. It they perform as well as they look, I will be stoked.
    My factory edition thumb throttle should arrive tomorrow. I need to make a video on the Urmossi products.

      Thanks man! I’ve been very happy with the Urmosi bar clamp. Got them on a few quads now. They have held up well and I like the complete damping they provide. The Urmosi throttle is awesome too. Very comfortable, smooth and high quality. The adjustability is great. 🤙🏽⚡️

    Why the KTM throttle body over the RP? Great looking machine btw.

    • @PowerLineRacing87
      @PowerLineRacing87  2 місяці тому +1

      Hey thank you! Ya know I didn’t necessarily buy the KTM throttle body for any specific reason other than it was the more common TB upgrade on the national builds. Now though all the pros are switching to the RP. We have the 45mm RP TB on the 2010 YFZ. It works great and got solid numbers on the dyno while paired with the RP intake, exhaust and Vortex. One difference between the KTM TB from Wienen Motorsports and the RP is that the KTM comes fully built. When you buy the RP you have strip down your stock TB and use the TPS, Fuel rail, injector throttle cable cam… No big deal, just nice to know. KTM is like $1200 and the 45mm RP is $620.

    Why is finding a bumper for these models a pain in the ass, I keep finding Raptor 700r bumpers

    • @PowerLineRacing87
      @PowerLineRacing87  2 місяці тому

      Could be where you’re looking. A search on Ebay will show you products from Alba, Tusk, Pro Armor, HMF, XFR, NICECNC. You can also check out Houser Racing, Factory 43 and Rath Racing. The last two are going to be the bumpers that you would see most commonly on the race track. Good luck!

    Trying to decide between the forex visionair intake or trash panda. Any input?

    • @PowerLineRacing87
      @PowerLineRacing87  Місяць тому

      I would say the Trash Panda will work very well and likely be easy to install being that it’s rubber and will flex a bit between frame and rear shock. It retains the factory air box which is good for filter concealment if that’s important to you. You can also run pre filter lids if you wanted.
      I’m sure it’s splitting hairs but the internal volume of the VisionAir is likely a bit larger due to the very thin but strong and light weight carbon fiber vs the rubber Trash Panda intake. The VisionAir is going to be lighter overall but it is definitely a bling piece in many ways. It looks amazing, fits well. Was a little bit of a chore installing and it’s a wide open box. Lots of pluses and minuses. Depends on how you’ll be riding.
      I will definitely be buying the VisionAir again for my next build! 🤙🏽⚡️ Good luck!

    How much hp on this ? Gotta be close to 60 ish with all those mods

    • @PowerLineRacing87
      @PowerLineRacing87  2 місяці тому

      The numbers are pretty tame. 31 torque and 47hp. There are no internal mods and I’m running 98 Octane. Currently installed, RP race Pro full exhaust, Vortex ECU, Fourwerx VisionAir intake and Wienen Motorsports KTM throttle body. With these parts I get a reasonable performance increase with smooth linear power and am setup to start doing internal mods in the future. (Stock YFZ450R 38~ hp and 28~ torque)

    Is it difficult to take the quad apart for powder coat?

    • @PowerLineRacing87
      @PowerLineRacing87  6 днів тому +1

      I will say no not at all however it depends on your skill set. Machines come natural to me. But I would ask is it hard to create an excel spreadsheet. And for me it would be. 😅

    • @pnwatv5094
      @pnwatv5094 5 днів тому

      @PowerLineRacing87 thanks, ive taken cars apart and done motor swaps I think I can do it, I'm guessing plastics, harness, drain coolant, pull motor n Trans then suspension, arms and rear end leave axle in sound correct?

    • @PowerLineRacing87
      @PowerLineRacing87  5 днів тому +1

      @@pnwatv5094 yah it depends on how deep you want to go. Like if you want to powder coat the swing arm you’ll have to fully disassemble the axle, carrier and pivot bolt bearings/sleeves.
