Hell yeah dude nice steal. Very similar wiring harness to the 660. Mist people hate the wiring of the 660 but I found it to be pretty simple. I still ended up getting a new vitos harness for reliability reasons but anyways nice score dude
Traded a nice artic cat 500 on 30s with gear reduction the kid i got it from had a but load of parts turns out he had two clutch case covers which are different and the two different pieces "that push on the primary clutch when you shift " it was as easy as taking it apart and finding out one made the clutch stay uncompressed and the other used the grooves like it should. Put it back together was a beast.
Debating on trading my 2010 with bead locks, msd tuner and bigger injector for a jeep or street bike. I Just recently picked it up and I only rode it 3 times but I miss my xj I wrecked so trading it has been on mind.
This is what I was looking at getting but I went a different route and got a polaris 500 because everyone was asking 3 to 4k for what you got for 800 witch I thought was thay we're asking to much for a beat up quad
Just got mine back together idling great in neutral but the when I hit the gas the the rpms climb and don't come down. Kill switch it and kill it everything's good upon start up until I hit the gas and get the same result. Driving me crazy!
I have one mines runs high when it’s in N like a ghost is giving it gas and it sometimes back fire but on when you give it gas at high rpm why in N but when you drive it it doesn’t backfire I was wondering what is the issue pipe get really red but when it do I cut it off can a bad plug bring this issue as well as carburetor
Having a bit of trouble with my 08 Yfz 450. Installed a new wire harness, start button wouldn’t do anything, some wires looked off so I match them and it now it turns the engine over but won’t start. If I start it using a screwdriver bridging the starter relay it starts up quick n easy. This is a really frustrating bike to deal with, I don’t know what to do anymore
I wish I could find deals like this.. unfortunately I'm in ca.. bike could've have been a burnt to a crisp and folks out here would still been asking for $5000.. saying "🤡I know what I got"
800 is a killer deal dude. I could see asking 2500 and taking 2000 on it due to the shape its in. Quick flip and your not giving someone a non running quad that most people on marketplace are trying to do.

You will need to use one of those yfz450 and build it up to compete against the 521 supper cub you have.
