For Teldrassil.
I hope the Dreamweavers, the Court of Farondis, the Moon Guard, Moonwalker Farodin, the Illidari, and ALL the formerly unaligned night elves can join together with their kin against their enemies, just like the Shen'dralar and the Wardens (two formerly neutral factions) already have. It is not about hatred of the Horde, but the survival of an entire race. The kaldorei must stand united in this dark and uncertain time.
And it is finally happening.

Whatever you think about the BFA and 8.1 they nailed it with this music once again. It's like a combination of Stormwind and Darnassus and I freaking love it.
The Art team and Music team always do a great job.

@@AgentSwiffer Personally, I wish Blizzard went with their original plan of making night elves a Horde race. They are still fundamentally a Horde race: the noble savage archetype.
The Forsaken and the blood elves, meanwhile, would fit much better in the Alliance. Way too civilised for my liking. I prefer my Horde with animal skins and wooden huts, not castles and bioweapons. It would be so cool to have Lordaeron serve the Alliance in a new fashion.
True, but to me unfortunately this song was the best about the whole expansion.
@@principetnomusic Makes zero sense. The orcs killed Cenarius. It was either Alliance or neutral. There was no plan for them to be Horde in the first place.
Forsaken and the Blood Elves on the other hand could have been in the Alliance easily.

I'm a Draenei by birth but Night Elves are my family, I will bleed for them as long as I have to and I will not stop fighting until I bring justice for the genocide they endured.

Ok, yesterday I did for the first time the darkshore thing. And It was proly the most epic thing I've done in the 5-6 years that I have been playing this game
As a tauren roleplayer, I'll stand behind the night elves, because the friendship between Tauren and Night Elves should be above the factions of the Horde and the Alliance. Together we will avenge Teldrassil, save Azeroth and bring the peace that this world needs.
Not all Tauren are in friendship with the night elves. But I agree that all shamans and druids will agree with the night elves
Dont forget the Tauren were hunting down driads in secret

@@orochinagis I have no idea which quest you're talking about tbh. If you're referencing the one that was removed in Cata with the revamp of the zone, you weren't hunting Dyrads. You hunt three rare creatures: A hippogryph, a bear, and a cat. If that isn't the one you were referencing, do you remember the name or quest giver of it?
I wish someone would make a cut of just those 2 first minutes.

Anyone got the sound of Song of Elune here? It seems pretty similar, sounds like an alternate version of Song of Elune (considering the fact that the Night Warrior is Elune's avatar of vengeance O.o)

It was the beginning of Wrath of the Lich King. My first ever character just before pre patch was a male night elf hunter, I was a big noob then...Got that character to 70 before I created a human Death Knight then I quit the game when i got kicked out of a heroic Violet Hold due to not knowing how to play my class. I then returned and created a Human Paladin to raid Ulduar with, tried to heal before the raid leader told me to play something else or quit. So I decided to create a Night Elf Druid in early 2009 and got really good at playing Feral Cat dps and have been a Night Elf ever since...13 years of being a Night Elf, seeing Teldrassil burned made me cry big time, our home....gone. Now, my Night Elf female Symka is a hurt and alone and vengeful druid who now walks as a Night Warrior Druid who is corrupted by the Nightmare but still retains her sanity.

Actually Protoss Briefing Room Theme from Starcraft 1 was the first track with these vibes.
It does, though the same melody is also shared by Teldrassil's own theme. So not really out of place.
This theme always gives me hope that Blizzard won't fuck up Tyrande's character.
Well thankfully her story continues in Ardenwall!!

Night Elves have much more of a tribal, somber sound. It doesn't necessarily need to be peaceful.
I agree and that's my dislike about it, night song and the vanilla/cata music should of been a good point to start from rather than going back to the generic chanting that you hear so much in alliance themes.

sometimes I think only art team likes night elves in blizzard.
I'd love to see a sin'dorei version of this ritual with Belore. Sure there hasn't really been any mention of a sun God in the lore but who's to say there isn't? It would be interesting and be a neat expansion of my peoples lore. I may be a death knight now but I still remember my old people even if I feel nothing.
Yeah, no, they're not going to make up some god just to homogenize the races. Blood Elves followed Elune before they created the Sunwell and became High Elves in the first place. They have no other god, they only named the Sunwell after the sun to spite the Night Elves and their obsession with the moon and darkness.
The Tauren have something similar to a sun god, but considering how heavily based on native Americans they are, I doubt it's a literal conscious figure and is probably more akin to the elements that shamans worship.
@@Lucifronz its blizzard. They'll make up anything at this point. If you want consitant lore than you're playing the wrong game. Wows lore hasn't been consistent since wrath. That said theres plenty of things in the wow universe that most only believed was made up to spite another race or things that were hinted at but never spoken of. Like I said who's to say a sun God doesnt exist. In any universe theres always a balance, there has to be otherwise the universe falls apart. Dark and light, hate and love, death and life. For every one theres an equal opposite as a counter balance.

@@Lucifronz not really. Blizz hasn't been consistent with the lore since wrath. Even they admitted to butchering their own lore. Really at this point it wouldn't be a bad thing to give the sin'dorei a god to worship in the form of the sun. Being elves and all they should get their own god at this point. Elune is a night elf thing which at this point has become a meme and something to mock when a person wants a good laugh. Example the male dark iron dwarf /silly jokes.

Forsaken are stubborn, they will last a while for her to butcher until we can find her a suitable target to sic her on. Hopefully not the Tauren, though, they hate this false war as much as Alliance does.

tbh its very boring , i though it would be alternative version of ( NightSong ) that we saw in ( Terror of Darkshore cinematic at the end ) , but nope this one its just feels bad and inconsistent

@@omarsameh5007 because nightsong has to do partially with elune, which has everything to do with the night ritual/ tyrande's character. I think that cine focused on malfurion's and Tyrande's personal vengeance while this theme encompasses the wrath of the people (of Darnassuss in particular, but also the Alliance.)
@@omarsameh5007 Nightsong was written by Highborne traitors who caused the downfall of night elf society, so whoever stuck it in the trailer is not a true night elf fan. This music is way more fitting.
I feel like this expansion the music is getting away from unique themes.. I like this but it doesn’t match previous soundtracks and isn’t dynamic like others. It’s been downhill since legion

Getting 0 Nelf vibes from this one. Very disappointing. Certain instruments used are also more typically Draenei from previous themes. Very Alliance-esque, but barely night elven for me. They really should've taken inspiration from WC3 instead.
The main theme in this track is an altered version of the Night Elf theme from WoW. Almost giving the hint that they are no longer a passive race anymore. I think the point was to make you think that the Night Elves are no longer those Night Elves that you know, especially with Tyrande storming the Stormwind Keep and facing Anduin and Malfurion just burying a fucking orc grunt alive.
@@kavrukpilaki I didn't get that feeling at all. The theme is very much in line with what Blizzard has generally done to the night elves, which is to ruin them. I'd like to have heard more savegary from Wc3, which is WAY MORE FITTING than anything these composers were able to pull off. I get Stormwind vibes from this, The Alliance, but no fucking night elves apart from the vague borrowing from earlier themes that didn't even make an impact anyway. And, again, draenei instruments that we heard in Warlords of Draenor.
These theme should have been completely absent Alliance vibes, because the Alliance had literally nothing to do with this assault. This should have been the hour of the Night Elves, and instead we get some human-like heroism that doesn't at all reflect the true nature of this savage race, FINALLY unleashed.

I know she had no choice because it was TOO LATE to react for Tyrande to help her out of this Situation. Xavius knew that she would prefer Malfurion than Ysera… the aspect of NATURE!! :( it was very hard to see her die at the temple and you as the hero of the Alliance or Horde could do Nothing to save her... that is the saddest Thing ever happened to the Nightelves although iam Horde Player. Why couldnt she help both??? i mean she is the Moon Priestess..was..the priestess now she is the Instrument of her own hate and Xavius reached his Goal...poor Nightelves. Fandral once said :Tyrande doesnt know how to lead our Elves!! he was Right.
@@shannonchen1395 I don't know what are you talking about. Tyrande had a choice. Saving Malfurion or saving the Temple of Elune from corrupted Ysera.
She discarded Malfurion and ride to the temple to kill Ysera, because she was beyond saving. Then Elune herself intervened and cleansed Ysera's soul so she could return to the Emerald Dream. She granted us her cleansed tear as well. Something we needed to stop the Legion. Tyrande chosed the right thing.
Actually she Stop searching for malfurion and chose duty over love risking xavius whould kill malf while she rides to the Temple... But yeah.
