I want to see Sylvanas and Jains fight in a real cinematic. They’re both my favourite, it’s be epic. I think we’re overdue to see a real cinematic with Jains using her powers
Won't happen anytime soon, if you ask me. Full CGI Cinematics are expansive and modelling a character is as well. Tyrande has never been modeled in CGI before.
Nah, IMO they didn't go dragonball enough. The fight was relatively low anime with normal punches and normal arrows flying, I expected them to cause several nuke power explosions with dirt flying everywhere and mess up the entire grove in their fight tbh.
The way Tyrande’s voice breaks when she says “End this”... oof, that gives me chills. She has been through so much pain. I may not like her, but I respect her bravery and dedication to avenging her people.
Originally I had the impression that you weren't supposed to like Tyrande, but she was still a great character. I mean not in shadowlands, because nothing good came out of that expansion, what I meant that the fey nature of the elves and the 10 thousand year superiority complex of the night elves themselves were defining parts of her character. She is still good and extremely caring, but also supposed to be flawed AND elven.
Didn't the campaign cinematic for Ardenweald show the Winter Queen and others doing a ritual to undo her sister's night warrior spell so it wouldn't destroy Tyrande? I think that's why she lost power but also a convenient plot device to make Sylvanas a raid boss lol, hopefully Tyrande shows up on the final phase, I think she would deserve a killing blow over us.
Love Tyrande kicking butt and having her moment ...not really a fan of them pulling a "Oh and the goddess is denying you the kill." not necessarily that sylvanas wasn´t evil...but elune might want or need that the jailer succeeds for whatever reason...maybe to regain her brother, after all we have yet not really any signs of an'she while the maw was said to be like a malevolent lantern, that it holds the light captive like the damned it was built to imprison

It's mainly because Blizzard has a point of delaying storylines as a time gating feature. It happens with all of these lore heavy patches. You get to a point in the story and the quests seem to just drop off. Not because another patch is coming, but because they want everyone to wait 1-2 weeks, then they release the next part of the quest lines. It sucks
Not really. She's stuck in Ardenweild or however you spell it. Shown in recent cutscene. Seems like the mantle is passed to her daughter so in essence, Ysera is technically still dead.
Not demon hunter only weapons. Night elves have been using glaives since warcraft III atleast ( as far as i remember, could've been 1 or 2 aswell ) They used to throw them and strike with them, prime example, Maiev shadowsong.

@@360Fov It's funny bc in the prelude book Shadows Rising Nathanos tells Syvlanas he failed to kill Bwonsamdi and she has to physically restrain the urge to murder him in a blind rage, and instead tells him to basically sit in his house until she calls for him again, which is what results in Tyrande killing him. But she's sad that he died and she didn't know uwu.
@@360Fov How would she know? The only people that she had contact with since the event were Thrall, Jaina, Baine and Anduin, none of which could have known about his death, the only reason she'd know of his death is if the Jailer showed her his soul as it entered the Maw, and he didn't, hence Tyrande concluding that the Jailer is lying to Sylvanas.
@@madtitan4892 I'm pretty sure in that cutscene with Nathanos, it seemed like he knew he was being left to die. So it is weird that Sylvannas was in shock of this. She left him to hold off the retribution that she knew was coming for her. So the only thing that she could not have known is that Nathanos was in the Maw somewhere potentially. But given how the older cutscene played, it seemed like she should have known he was dead. So if the Alliance were in the Shadowlands, it seems logical that Nathanos failed to hold them off. Especially as calculating as Sylvannas is.
That doesn't make it less anti-climactic, IMO. Just going, "Oh yeah here's our reason for it" like 8 months from now isn't gonna make it suck less in the moment.

I'm guessing elune stopped it because if Tyrande used any more it would have killed her. We know the night warrior power comes at a cost of ones life. maybe if Tyrande kills Sylvanas, she will also die
For me it's kinda obvious, Elune is taking her power away to not let her rage overpower her. You seen her face? She's basically like a maniac trying to choke someone who's defeated and kinda helpless. I'm sure she would have killed Sylvanas if not for Elune. Elune is basically like "Cmon girl, you're better than this".
It annoys me that Sylvanas always wins. And now there is one more secret about Elune. Tyrande is always trying to do the right thing and is always the loser. But how nice the way Sylvanas looks when she heard of Nathanos' demise.
Tyrande her true character? In War of the Ancients she was kind, humble and helpfull. Then 10.000 years later she is a bitter woman. She killed Wardens to free Illidan. That hsould say enough that she doesn´t always do good. She is the new Illidan if you think about it. We had Garrosh 2.0, now it is Illidan 2.0. Blizzard is milking old cows.
Since when have being good helped in the lore of warcraft? Anduin Lothar tried to save his people bjt his son got killed. Tyralion did his mission and he + his wife missed time with their family. @@360Fov I mean at this point people are being stupid for expecting something more than the worst TBH, Warcraft has the writing of a Hollywood blockbuster with a 5/10 rating on imdb.

Well, of course she's scary :P She's basically become wrath incarnate and now she's finally fighting the one responsible for almost committing genocide on her people.
@@CorfixAMV she's not wrath incarnate. She actually denies that in the video. The wrath is her own, not wrath incarnate. But then she's supposed to embody Elune's wrath per the ritual? So she technically denied Elune.

@@Geeserunner The wrath doesn't need to be someone elses for her to be wrath incarnate.. its just a way to say she's really really pissed.

In Torghast during the Night Fae campaign, whenever Tyrande used the Night Warrior's power, it almost kills her until she's healed enough to use it again. And considering that in Darnassian Tyrande said "My life for hers," which shows she was willing to go nuclear to kill Sylvanas, Elune took the power away so Tyrande didn't kill herself, even if Sylvanas getting away was the consequence.

@@ankhailick It wasnt, the fight itself was pathetic. Activision Blizzard keeps ruining the game with terrible cinematics and bad patches. No wonder people are moving over to FFXIV
@@Palidor and yet here you are commenting on a cinematic that you hate from a game you don't like. That's logic right there. Feel free to go over to boring fantasy we won't miss you here see ya!
@@ankhailick people are just salty. Smh
I know the lawsuit behavior explains a lot of lore gaps but I think I just realized the night warrior only empowered her when she felt anger, but the sheer satisfaction she gained from choking a murderer shot down in the sky made her lose the torment needed to wield such power. It would make sense why Elune gave her a choice when incited, and explains why she gave the form up so willingly, because in order to be the night warrior, you need to never be satisfied with the violence quantity for even a split second.
Typical plot armour, but those animations seemed like a considerable step up over previous cutscenes.
What is the song playing under it? I want to listen to it.
they really let tyrande to drag her out of the sky only to disappoint us
