They play like no other and their unpopularity is criminal. The Pandas, god I love those fat bastards. They are funny to look at, funny to listen to but when they want to be can be badasses. Yaaay frog genocide! Fun as hell :\ I know that there were some fun times about hunting down chests and rares for a few days but after that it was just about farming frogs.
I miss this expansion... so much. Kind of hurts listening to the ost sometimes. This expan really ment alot to me. Both as a Pandaren fan and a Asian culture fan. I really miss it alot...
I feel the exact same way.. If only i could go back and experience it all over again. Even today, i still fly around exploring Pandaria just cause of how beautiful and perfect the continent is and how fun it was to explore. the music, the lore, the scenery, the theme, the pandaren, everything about it makes it my all time favorite expansion.
WoW Ive felt may have its ups and downs but I've always loved its music. My favorite of all the Generations was Wrath's music but this brings up such a strong and close second. This song in particular captures the mystery, intrigue and strength that I did not at first expect to see when the Expansion was announced. Potential is returning to this game. Just a matter of where they go from here.
@@tetsuyawn5788 Sadly. IMO WoW has been on the decline since Legion. Though there are others who'd argue its been going downhill since before that. It's unfortunate because I do miss it sometimes. The Death Knight of WoW has always been my all time favorite class to any video game and the one game it belongs to being in such a state is a real shame.
Why does this one and "Why do we fight?" always reach the deepest of my emotions?!? I feel sadness, happiness, courage, fear, rage, calm, every time i listen to those two!
You can only miss MoP if you hate Classic WoW and BC and that`s the problem. I dont say that evrything is bad about it, but the lore, questing and pvp is too far away from the original. With Cata and MoP Blizzard betrayed their real fangroup from W3, to make a singleplayer game for the new generation. Well after all it was activision and not Blizzard...
Speak for yourself, I have played Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne and I play WoW since BC. I liked them all, but that doesn't prevent me from considering MoP as the best expansion Blizzard has ever made.
@@rudy1999 i've played vanilla wow, i played BC, i have played WotLK (i liked them alot) and then i stopped playing at Cata. And man i tried Pandaria at 0.2... and i regret it that i have never experienced .0 and .1. That was like a last breath to a drowning man. It was awsome. Nothing after Pandaria came even close to it.
MoP was and still is my favourite expansion pack. The starting zone area was fun and exciting, and the levelling to 90 was actually an incredibly enjoyable experience with beautiful zones, amazing music and lots of really fun quests and lore. I'm a huge fan of asian culture and I loved spending hours just questing on my own and listening to the music. As much as I love BC and WotLK, this one holds a really special place in my heart, something that got lost in WoD (and let's not even mention Cata).
Same with me. I actually am keeping my level 91 panda in her "homeland" instead of taking the quest to go to Draenor because I love questing in Pandaria sooo much. :)
I do agree with you 100%, buuuuut as a PvP player i had to say cata was up there with MoP in terms of pvp design. For me i think cata pvp was the best and highest skill capped it has ever been, followed by MoP so i enjoyed cata alot too. But ye the style, the music, the art in general was so breathtaking that i still fly around pandaria to this day, just to get a bit nostalgic i guess...hope blizzcon in a few days will bring good news for 2020 =) !
I've played WoW since 2006. I don't have any nostalgia for "the good old days" of Classic, TBC, or WOTLK. I barely played WoW classic, and haven't touched TBC classic. But MOP? I'd play a MOP classic. Take me back.
Nah, it's about personal opinion. I actually hate all of this asian stuff as well as music, prefered only few tracks out of the whole expansion compared to others. BC and WotLK best of the all time for me. Matt Uelmen is the king.
MoP? Not really, it started at cataclysm they made Mists of Pandaria a pretty good expansion. Then they failed again at WoD and it might be that they're making Legion a really good expansion.
Thank you, MoP. I were so sketchy to you at first... So doubtfull. I laughed at you, and told myself I would just get back into WoW next expac... But you did give me my main class. A really cool journey. And plenty of amazing music. Guess it goes to show. Try something out yourself, form your own opinions about things. Don't just go along with what everybody else around you tells you. MoP may not have been the best expac, but to me, it became something special.
Going to play this before leveling my Windwalker monk in Legion. Using Martial Arts to fight demons, what could be more badass? This tune fits that perfectly.
Remember that, no matter what, your character will never be as powerful as he was in MoP. Balance was truly in the " If everything is OP then nothing is OP" phase
In that time, World of Warcraft was magical, making others shiver, keeping excited. The song do hold its spirit. Just all the monks left the dull space it is nowadays. Big thanks to normalising things, focusing on maximising profit *proudly shows middle finger for Bob*
The only thing WotLK had better than MoP, in my opinion, was the mellancholy of the icon Arthas is (and Ulduar). I consider MoP equal or even superior in almost any other aspect.
+Desa Iree MoP wasn't bad except for the awful faction lore intruding on the whole "explore a new continent" theme. That stuff should have been settled in an expansion before MoP. But, even with its artistic beauty MOP had some serious design issues, like: - Extremely underwhelming launch patch and 5.1, only WOD has ever done worse at launch. - Daily Quest bottleneck didnt break untill 5.2, and even then you still needed the dailys for some professions. - Non existant PVP balance - A very streamlined and unintereseting talent system - Scenarios used in place of dungeons
Midgert89 I didn't say it was bad. You see, I think the lore is the best part of it. The beautiful, rich, interesting lore of the Pandaren and their home is what kept me so enticed. It's possible they could've done that beforehand, but I don't mind that they didn't. I hadn't had that much fun questing in years. They sort of did that whole new land kind of thing before, but they didn't put as heavy emphasis on it. I feel like this was a bit different than all the other times; it wasn't ever really pointed out by anyone significant in past expansions that the two factions are basically being a bunch of babies and fighting over nothing. Valid reason for war in the past? Maybe. But if you're so bloodthirsty you can't even call off a war that damages your land, your people, your psyche, and then bring it to some other place where it's not only unwanted, it has dire consequences? Issues. Surely this would've been a wake-up call for Varian, but nope, guess Garrosh speaks for every man and woman in the Horde. All the stuff you mentioned I totally agree with, especially the talents - they've been trashy since Cataclysm and I doubt they're going to make 'em right again. It's honestly the change that upset me the most.
Desa Iree Pandarias lore was great, the faction war was lame and felt like an obligatory sideshow that intruded on Pandaria. I certainly didn't like the pacifist ideas it forced upon the factions. Thats not very warcrafty imo.
Midgert89 I felt like we'd been building up for something like that since Cata/when Garrosh took over. I mean, dude has always been overly bloodthirsty and mentally unstable. Sylvanas would've been a better Warchief, and that's saying something. It makes sense, though. Only reason this war keeps going on is because game hook - if it wasn't Warcraft, no one would play it. I just wish they'd let WoW die and move on to continuing actual Warcraft and write more books and stuff. The game has gotten old and if Legion is as bad as it feels like it'll be, I quit for good.
This is literally the theme of kung fu. The word means "reaching a goal through great effort". So literally anything can be "kung fu", if you truly work towards that goal. But in terms of martial arts, it requires years of both physical and spiritual training. This theme reflects just that, with calm themes for the spiritual training, and the faster themes for the physical combat. This song even plays when you do the training montage with the "Hidden Master" in the Valley of the Four Winds. Blizzard knew exactly what they were going for here. This is the perfect theme for the windwalker monk.
MoP gets far too much shit than it deserves. It had its ups and downs but it was a truly *Beautiful* Expansion. Classes felt great, music was AMAZING, zones were gorgeus. I have so many good memories from Timeless Isle because WoW felt like a close community on that lil spot of land.
i remember is my first time on timeless isle (on a buggy private server when i didnt understand the game at all)....cut to me running away from a python while screaming for my life cause it was about to 2 shot me xDD my favorite part of this expac is the tillers with their little farm...just so damn relaxing
I missed out in cataclysm and mop, and will miss out on wod. I just don't have time to play wow anymore. But the times I played starting in 2006 and ending in 2009 were some of the Most immersive online gaming experience I've had. I only played one character, but invested a lot in that one.
When you find the time to, it'll be worth coming back. When you invest more into your character you'll be quite surprised at what the expansions could bring.
LilThrillaGorilla i'd say dont, as good the game might or might not be nowadays, it is the addiction and no the fun what keeps driving people into coming back...
Listening to this is what's actually getting me to level my alts - the thought that I get to listen to this on them is inspiring me to push through the grindfest.
MoP had some incredibly immersive content. Holy shite. Vanilla was all about elements, dragons, bugs, and undead and it sucked you in to each one with its music as well (same with BC, WotLK, Cata). Blizzard might be the best company when it comes to feeling authenticity, even with fictional archetypes & atmospheres. I quit a day after wod was released so I can't really speak for it but man... nostalgia.
not missing much after aside from legion which is a masterpiece too bad the first expac i got to play on live servers (and not private ones) was shadowland....at least my first experience of the game was MoP xD
This music is so good for meditation. I started WoW on legion but I liked MoP from what I have seen as a high lvl player and dungeons and raids i have done. MoP's music is just so spiritual and sets you on a journey.
For me MOP was the best xpac even above Wrath. Why ? The lore, even if inspired by asian culture was the most original one and not based only on what was established in War3; the general design, so refreshing, so colorful; the true feeling of adventure to discover a land never seen before; the sound design in general; the PVE clever mechanics in raids. So much to say about this xpac.
And just now I remember I still have a hunter lvl 86 waiting to continue her adventures in Pandaria. so my scheduling for the evening is accomplished. ^_^
@@Prosarius well, she cleansed Pandaria of the Sha, defeated Garrosh Hellscream and Archimonde, sent the Burning Legion into the Nether, resisted the whispers of N'Zoth, rescued countless souls from eternal torment in The Maw and now helps the Dragon Flights protecting their home from the assaults of the Incarnates. So yeah, adventures have been good and still going on. 😁
No one has ever heard MoP complaints other than "uuh pandas". It's not brave to praise one of the most unanimously acclaimed expansion, it's always ranked 1, 2 oe 3 with Wotlk and BC.

Pandaren: "All these alliance and horde people are so annoying..."
Players: "We heard you had a bug/sha/mogu problem..."
1:03
legendary soundtrack, legendary expansion.
I'll stick with my Epic set though.
You can play this expansion on private server called warmane
MONKS ARE AWESOME!
@@notallgarbage Nope I like to fight with mi fists not like a cat form all the time.
@@j-sancomics6910 lol my druid is a healer
no , just mop are awesome lol
im a grown man that cries tears of joy listening and remembering this exp. some of the best days of my life good friends and good content !
I want this played at my funeral. Every time I listen to it, I hear, Freedom. It's such a beautiful piece. Masterfully done.
Just a matter of where they go from here.
and then they launched shadowland, ruining everything and every good characters
@@tetsuyawn5788 Sadly. IMO WoW has been on the decline since Legion. Though there are others who'd argue its been going downhill since before that. It's unfortunate because I do miss it sometimes. The Death Knight of WoW has always been my all time favorite class to any video game and the one game it belongs to being in such a state is a real shame.
When you find the answer to the exam's question 1:28
Yeeheees! :D
Why does this one and "Why do we fight?" always reach the deepest of my emotions?!?
I feel sadness, happiness, courage, fear, rage, calm, every time i listen to those two!
👌👌👌
MoP had such a great life lesson to it...just the trailer sequence explaining why they fight gives me goosebumps...i wish more people thought that way
I miss MoP SOOOO much!
Damn, you must be the only one, hated that expansion so much
@@rudy1999 i've played vanilla wow, i played BC, i have played WotLK (i liked them alot) and then i stopped playing at Cata. And man i tried Pandaria at 0.2... and i regret it that i have never experienced .0 and .1. That was like a last breath to a drowning man. It was awsome. Nothing after Pandaria came even close to it.
@@helgegroning6243 Classic sucked hard. Its gone for good
MoP was and still is my favourite expansion pack.
not to menion it was handsdown the best pvp expansion
MoP had aesthetic and nostalgia value...but Cata blew it away as an expansion don't start with that lol.
Same for me. Playing my brewmaster monk on challenge mode dungeons was the best time i ve ever had in WOW. Good times!
I've played WoW since 2006. I don't have any nostalgia for "the good old days" of Classic, TBC, or WOTLK. I barely played WoW classic, and haven't touched TBC classic. But MOP? I'd play a MOP classic. Take me back.
Everybody gangsta until the cello starts playing
Say what you will about mists, but soundtrack was best of them all :)
I completely agree!!
Nah, it's about personal opinion. I actually hate all of this asian stuff as well as music, prefered only few tracks out of the whole expansion compared to others. BC and WotLK best of the all time for me. Matt Uelmen is the king.
The Soundtrack is good yea...but still MoP was the start of many, many, many Fails of Blizzard. Sadly...
MoP? Not really, it started at cataclysm they made Mists of Pandaria a pretty good expansion. Then they failed again at WoD and it might be that they're making Legion a really good expansion.
Sevn Alias additional difficulty for the raids appeared in the SoO which is still MoP.
MoP was great, amazing rich story quests, amazing art, amazing music
Thank you, MoP. I were so sketchy to you at first... So doubtfull. I laughed at you, and told myself I would just get back into WoW next expac... But you did give me my main class. A really cool journey. And plenty of amazing music.
Guess it goes to show. Try something out yourself, form your own opinions about things. Don't just go along with what everybody else around you tells you.
MoP may not have been the best expac, but to me, it became something special.
Mop was the Expac that teaches you somthing
WW for life
Going to play this before leveling my Windwalker monk in Legion. Using Martial Arts to fight demons, what could be more badass? This tune fits that perfectly.
hit those demons! show them who is the boss!!
Remember that, no matter what, your character will never be as powerful as he was in MoP. Balance was truly in the " If everything is OP then nothing is OP" phase
*cry in useless feral druid*
This works amazingly for a monastery in the DnD campaign I'm dming! First song where I've had players comment on how good it was!
We are in sl now but I still feel the pain and want to go back 😭 😭
epic intro the tune is really beautiful.. been away from wow for a decade... and currently a return for the Lich King
that music is so incredible. 2022 was so bad for me... so Iam going on 2023 it feels better than anything I´ve heard
Mist of Pandaria..... you will forever have a place in my heart... i miss you.....
mop classic in 7 years. we're almost home
In that time, World of Warcraft was magical, making others shiver, keeping excited. The song do hold its spirit. Just all the monks left the dull space it is nowadays. Big thanks to normalising things, focusing on maximising profit *proudly shows middle finger for Bob*
My god I fucking love this. MoP had its flaws, but it's still the best expac post-LK for sure.
But, even with its artistic beauty MOP had some serious design issues, like:
- Extremely underwhelming launch patch and 5.1, only WOD has ever done worse at launch.
- Daily Quest bottleneck didnt break untill 5.2, and even then you still needed the dailys for some professions.
- Non existant PVP balance
- A very streamlined and unintereseting talent system
- Scenarios used in place of dungeons
Man this song always inspires hope in me.
MoP gets far too much shit than it deserves.
It had its ups and downs but it was a truly *Beautiful* Expansion.
Classes felt great, music was AMAZING, zones were gorgeus.
I have so many good memories from Timeless Isle because WoW felt like a close community on that lil spot of land.
i remember is my first time on timeless isle (on a buggy private server when i didnt understand the game at all)....cut to me running away from a python while screaming for my life cause it was about to 2 shot me xDD
my favorite part of this expac is the tillers with their little farm...just so damn relaxing
man i wish they'd release a feral druid soundtrack half this sweet. windwalker mains must feel cool af
did they release a feral druid soundrtack half this sweet?
-fellow feral
MoP holds some of my fondest memories... loved it so much
Ive been trying to find this forever! It gives me chills still i love it
I missed out in cataclysm and mop, and will miss out on wod.
Good work sir! This is one of my favourite when studying. XD
Say what you want about the game, but Blizz is always top notch when it comes to soundtracks and cinematics.
This music is but one of the many reasons this is my favorite expansion of one of my favorite games.
so beautiful. Makes me proud to play...
Thank you world of warcraft, you guys made our lives amazing.
I miss WoW without Activision behind , good old days
Beautiful piece of music!
Favorite expansion, because it resonated so well with my love of Asian culture
Always remember: The tiniest stone can shine through greatest of the fish.
but only when the apple falls from the orange tree and the cow kicks the bucket at sunrise
So Beautiful! I love this soundtrack!!!!
I quit a day after wod was released so I can't really speak for it but man... nostalgia.
not missing much after aside from legion which is a masterpiece
too bad the first expac i got to play on live servers (and not private ones) was shadowland....at least my first experience of the game was MoP xD
Masterpiece
I will cry
this music... it soars.
This music is so good for meditation. I started WoW on legion but I liked MoP from what I have seen as a high lvl player and dungeons and raids i have done. MoP's music is just so spiritual and sets you on a journey.
perfection...tranquility
Despite what people say mop was my second favorite xpac. Wrath being my favorite.
MoP was awesome!
Kevin Hadj I agree. Mop also was a pretty dark xpac for a story and featured a lot of Horde vs Alliance stories making rp-pvp great.
people dont like it because of the pandaren. for me its my favorite expansion
Agree completly with this.
mop i was a little boy and started playing back then now 21 and still playing
as a pandaren windwalker i say this is beautiful
Everyone focuses on the full-blast at the start of the video but 11:25 those flutes are just ethereal
It's no easy feat to make me shed tears through music, but this song......this song is special.
This almost makes me want to play WoW again.
I have no words to describe.... :')
I loved this expansion since the first time.
The days we stucked at those bosses in Mogu and other raids for a whole night.
One of my favorites. Its epic when im just flying over to the pvp vendors and this floods my speakers. I just stop and listen
Beautiful song thank you
And just now I remember I still have a hunter lvl 86 waiting to continue her adventures in Pandaria. so my scheduling for the evening is accomplished. ^_^
How has the Adventure of your hunter been?
Legion solos
I love this music
Despite whatever changes the game has gone through, one thing has remained consistent: The phenomenally composed scores. Wow..
Only 5 levels? WHY? it needed more
Amo este tema quien mas lo ama?
You know, I think Mists of Pandaria has the best music in WoW :)
Amazing
love the song!!!!
Using this to mediate for small 2-3 minute sessions during my studies. Normally I'm shit at it, but I got zen af just now.
When I think at MOP, I think at Timeless Isle and Cloud Serpents...Pandaria with this epic music, like in a Japanese fairy tale...
6:34 best part
Man I wish I could play more of this game, this is the most interesting expansion yet. Unfortunately I dont got the time to play a game like WoW anymore :S
the leveling was fun, also the music kicked ass.
Mop was the best expansion ever! Real raids and bosses, massive maps with loads of content! I'm so please I got the collectors edition I love it so much I still log out in the temple and hunt shar of anger! And I also have HOULON!!!
Holy crap this music is amazing. I miss WoW.
7:49 makes me think of Li Li, can't tell why ... I'm picturing her like: So, now I'm packing my things and going on an adventure!
MoP produced the most beautiful music ive ever heard, chills, always.
