Thank you for making a good video with just the instructions on how to work this. No bs, no filler, no back story on your life. Just a good video that was very helpful and quick.
I have watched many videos and practiced a lot, but I could never get this to work. After watching your video and practicing a bit I finally figured it out! Great description! Thanks a million!
Hi Lishi original and genuine are the same. They are made in the same factory in China by Mr Li but are distributed by different companies. The rounded Lishi are the original but they changed it to the squared off one as it is easier to drill the set screw hole on a flat surface. This info is from Deviant Ollam, locksport guru. I hope this is useful....Peter
Yea so this would happen to me at the beginning too. I would recommend using lube and pick with less tension. I will release some videos here soon breaking down some more in depth tips.
This is a commercial lishi. There are also automotive lishi tools as well. Also there are lishis that are called 2 and one. Those lishis pick the lock and after you picked it and unlocked it you read the pins or wafers in the locked to make a key.
It's not as easy on Schlage home locks. The knobs with the floating spring cap can be a pain. Those should never have been made. I keep used ones in stock. Very easy on generic mortise locks.
You are referring to Schlage f series locks. I disagree. Those are incredibly easy to pick. I pick any sc1 cylinder in under 30 seconds with a lishi tool. Takes a little practice with correcting an over picked chamber without having to reset the whole cylinder.

Love how you get to the point!
Great video. Love the Lishi tools. Have 4 in my collection so far. Liked and subbed.
I can only afford one, which one should I get?

Awesome video, is there a lishi tool for 2021 ducati panigale?
Do you have a video on how to use this tool to make a key for the lock?
AWESOME WORK BRO! What number of lishi do i need for a f250- f350 truck?
what about when a lock had a bunch of springy pins and one or two that bend the lishi tip when you apply pressure?
buen video bro lastima que estas herramientas no llegan aquí, saludos desde Córdoba Argentina
Thank you!
How do I tell which lishi i have? Its got the old man on it, what version is that?.
Which way are you applying pressure?
I cannot seem to consistently get the SC1 to pick a simple Schlage FS doorknob. It seems I am false setting alot? Would over picking be my problem?

I would recommend purchasing from a reputable locksmith supplier such as UHS-Hardware.

@@CaptainLockPick I may need more practice. Do a video on that if possible.
It's too bad they are so expensive
They have came down in price a tad haven't they? Either way, so fun and easy to use. Definitely wouldn't prefer to pick a lock any other way.
Am sorry nobody will become good a lock picking in a hr especially if you have no idea how 🤷🏿♂️
Come on man. The game is to be sold not told
Lol jk
