They also test on animals so it’s a hell no for me! So many amazing cruelty free brands these days, not sure why these doctors consistently recommended cruel brands. It’s really off putting

Tbh I do think their body moisturizers and the facial one mentioned by Dr Shah is good based on the ingredients and online reviews but MAN the price point. Not to mention my mom also said they are way overpriced for what they're worth. As a college student Imma gonna listen to my mom.

My husband suffers from pretty severe psoriasis on his face and Kiehl's is THE ONLY thing that not only soothes it, but heals it (Ihad to all but force him to try, becausethings typically just make it much worse lol). My oldest daughter has bouts with serious eczema that causes her eyelids to dry and crack..again, Kiehl's is the ONLY cream that soothes and heals it. It even gets used on my 10 yr old daughter when masks cause irritation. This stuff is legitimate magic! It's pricey, so I wish there was a dupe for it (I've tried MANY, to no avail), but thankfully a small amount goes a long way.

In my country the khiel s face cream is 35€, for 150ml. La roche posay is 20, for 30ml. Vichy is 35, for 50ml. I genuinely think that face cream is a must, since khiel s is a luxurious skin care brand and the face cream is cheaper than anything else. It will last you 4 months :)
When would you use the Algenist vitamin C though? I would normally use a vitamin C daily in the morning and only use glycolic acid/ salicylic acid in the evening x3 times a week. So seams confusing to have them all in one serum wouldn’t it make you’re skin super sensitive if I used this as often as I’d use a normal vitamin C?

I try glow recipe, the toner and the niacinamide, and my face come red and sensible, is it because I normally have La roche posey or vichy as product and my skin don’t like the sense of glow recipe? Or because glow recipe is a cheaper product?
