Thanks for the guide, I was nuts with some of my customers' car, and the wire was good, but the pin inside of the connector was broken

My charging light isn’t coming on but my car is acting funny when it starts. I just bought a new starter 2 years ago and the battery is good according to the autozone test but the autozone test said my car failed with the charging system. It says BAD CHARGING SYSTEM- charging current: failed.
My car is a 2012 Honda civic too. Do you think it’s the alternator?

It could be your alternator. Do you have a scanner? Or a voltmeter? If you have a voltmeter, start your engine and put the test leads on the battery posts and it should read 13.8-14.2 volts if your alternator is charging

Same issue with my car .. i changed the battery + alternator + belt but still, it's showing me the same error .. check changing system

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw the broken wire, mine was an easy repair, hopefully yours will be too
