Thank you so much. I just clean the battery posts of my Honda Civic 2013 and Voila... The VSA, Check Emission system, Power Steering System all warnings gone.!
The issue started after I had a flat tire and drove with the spare tire. After replacing the tire with a similar tire I still have the check VSA and the power steering light comes on. Even after I disconnected the battery to try to reset it. Any clues or advice for my 2013 honda civic sedan.
Yea got the same situation it’s was the alternator I have replaced then I swap a new battery that fixed the problem but I noticed the steering exclamation light turned on while drove my it went out but when I parked it I again in my dash how fix that what can you suggest?!
Hi my honda car started doing this while driving last night. The first warning was Check Brake Brake System" then Check VSA System, Check Abs System and Check Steering Wheel. Have you already fix the issues of your car? and if you did how much was the cost? The only thing that Im worried is the amount I will be paying😢.
Sometimes i start my car. Power steering light, Engine light and VSA light come on. I turned off the engine and start again these lights has off. What caused by.
Unfortunately, nobody can tell you exactly what the issue is over the internet. Although, definitely can make some suggestions on some things to check. It could be ABS related. But the only way to pinpoint the issue is you need to scan the vehicle with an OBDII reader capable of reading codes, live data, abs modules, srs modules, etc. You can get the brand LAUNCH scanners that do basically all of those functions for pretty cheap.
Having this issue now after doing some work on my car. Recently cleaned throttle body, MAF, replaced spark plugs, ignition coils, pcv, coolant flush, cvt filter and fluid. it’s driving me crazy. Car drives perfectly fine and the battery is only 1 month old.
I would still check the battery for correct voltage with a multimeter both off & running as I outlined in the video. Also check all parts of the ground as I mentioned @6:25. But considering all the work you did….I would suggest having it scanned with an OBDII scanner capable of reading all the modules to see whats going on as I touched base on @7:25.
Lol. How did you confirm battery is good? Have you checked it both cold and running with a voltmeter? If you’re getting the correct readings I outlined in the video, then it needs to be plugged up to a capable OBDII scanner that can read all modules. Wheel sensors also commonly cause the Christmas tree, bad modules like ABS for example, etc. but needs to be diagnosed with a good scanner if you are confident in the charging system. Could also be ground wire(s).
Only battery debate I could think of in this trouble would be to keep one or get a different one. Regardless, a very good video that explains the evaluation process and probably all, but one potential fix. However, after ruling out all possibilities you covered, I discovered in another video to simply drive the car after re-charging the battery to send new "okay" data to the computer. I did that, and the "christmas tree" went "dark" (all "check" system indicators) within 800 feet ! 🙃
Um, did I not review charging & driving it in the video from 8:55 to 9:45? 😆 thats literally all I did in my original video that this is a follow-up for.
Going to need to be diagnosed with a decent OBDII scanner capable of reading all modules at that point. If all the voltage checks out as i outlined in the video….then it could be a wheel sensor, ABS module, etc. but you’ll need a scanner to read the data to confirm.
@@TheOriginalBeeCee my car tells me it has misfires on all cylinders. i did tune up and the same codes pop, also ill be driving and the enfine light flashes and i lose power and cant go no faster than 30mph
My civic 2013 does the lights all the time, comes and goes not affecting the driving, i noticed that does it more often when temperatures reached over 84°
@@9thgensi227 i actually don’t see them on there anymore. I got it in the beginning of 2020 and it isn’t even listed in my eBay purchase history or anything.
That’s definitely a possibility. If the car was reviewed with a diagnostic scan tool by a reputable source and this with the diagnostic, I would say its a pretty good chance thats the problem. I reviewed the most common cause in this video, being the battery….as batteries fail way more commonly than modules do, but definitely other possibilities as well, like this, ABS module, abs wheel sensors as I also mentioned in the video, etc.
At that point it needs to be properly scanned & diagnosed with a scan tool. Battery is the most common cause, but not the only reason for this to happen. Nobody can tell you exactly what it is without seeing data from the car. Only make guesses and assumptions.
It will put the car into a “limp mode” in certain instances. You need to check the battery voltage both running & off, as I outlined in the video. If that battery checks out good, you need to scan the vehicle with an OBDII reader capable of reading codes, live data, abs modules, srs modules, etc. You can get the brand LAUNCH scanners that do basically all of those functions for pretty cheap.
He only talks about the battery 24/7 because it worked for him. So he feels like a mechanic now and needed to make a video about. Ima try replacing all speed sensors tbh. I probably damaged them while replacing the clutch.

Great to hear 🙏🙏
Same issue but no codes found. Not sure what it is.

It needs to be reset with a capable OBDII scanner. As long as everything is good and how it should be, it won’t come back once reset.

Same here, did you solve the problem? @musicfashionstyle9269
Change the ABS Module, change the angle of the steering wheel and still follow the failure, all the lights on, what can it be?
What made you change those parts? Has car been scanned?

My 2013 si coupe is lit like December. Drives fine. Battery is good. Any ideas?

My 2015 Honda civic having same issues :( new battery after that issue and it came back the codes . And alternator good . I’m going crazy

Should check your voltage with a voltmeter as outlined in the video see where the battery is at both running and off
Did your car go limp mode?
No, but I didn’t really drive it in this state.
Where you got the carbon viper rad cover?

what you do
Camshaft Sensor is the possible problem
…you would more than likely have a partnering check engine light/troublecode with this if there was a sensor issue.
So my car had the Christmas tree and it stopped running like I couldn't start it even after putting a brand new battery
At that point it needs to be properly scanned & diagnosed with a scan tool. Battery is the most common cause, but not the only reason for this to happen. Nobody can tell you exactly what it is without seeing data from the car. Only make guesses and assumptions.

I bought a brand new battery 4 months ago and now these are just popping up
Need to do some testing with a voltmeter as I outlined in the video!
@@TheOriginalBeeCeeI just went to get tested it’s my abs/vsa module but man it’s 2500 ima buy that part and do it myself😂
Sheesh man that seems to start popping up as a more common issue. Definitely a potential cause for all these lights. But yeaa man $2500 is ridiculous
Same lights but it is not the battery
Did you ever find out the problem?
@@joshuapietsch3593 It is the Abs module itself
Beat me to it. I was going to suggest it being an potential ABS issue. ABS issues seem to be the other big cause of all these light’s coming on.
