Hey, I enjoy your videos a lot. I have ME/CFS and severe dysautonomia/POTS so my ANS is all over the place. I have a Garmin device which does some basic HRV monitoring but want to track it better. With what device do you get those HF power stats - is that the Polar H10? Also, I have very random adrenaline rushes due to the POTS, do you think the Touchpoints is a good device to combat those? I own a tVNS device but have so many neurological symptoms that I don’t feel comfortable putting electronic pulses through my head - so this Pulsetto seems a lot more suitable for me. Btw another item that you might want to check is a shakti mat, it works extremely well for me, don’t know what it does to HRV but it lowers my HR by about 10-12bpm after 15 minutes. Sorry for the information dump!
Thanks for your nice message! I'm also dealing with dysautonomia and likely CFS. You should check out thr Facebook group "Beat Long Covid with a Smartwatch" for lots of tips on using Garmin to pace. I mostly use my Lief throughout the day for HRV / HR monitoring, but occasionally Polar H10 and Elite HRV app come in handy
@@HRVHackers and I will check out that FB group, I do use my Garmin for pacing already. But I’m on propranolol as well so I could be overexerting myself without it reflecting in my HR. Thanks for the Gupta tip, I know about him but haven’t seen that video series yet
It’s a shame you need an app for this. They often sell data and can make an apparatus redundant. I also like to be disconnected from electronics when possible (also the source of my stress). Are there any neck alternatives without apps?
I still continue to see short term increases in HRV when I use Pulsetto. Overall I don't expect to see miracles in terms of long term HRV until I get to the root of Chronic fatigue Syndrome. That said, the Overall feedback from my viewers is positive, and the amount of people that return the product is quite small
@HRVHackers : I am willing to try this for my pinched Vagus nerve. Does this unpinch Vagus nerves? I just recently (a year ago) saw a chiro who did a special massage on my stomach for what I believe was a sliding hiatal hernia, which I think worked, it corrected itself after 6-8 months after that, and i could breathe again normally, but sometimes i have to take an extra deep breath just to relieve some pressure in or around the lungs stomach area, sometimes in the form of 1-3 forced yawns. I need to know if this can stimulate my vagus nerve just enough to where it will unpinch it.
Have you tried stimulating only the left side with pulsetto as you would with a TENS unit? What are also your thoughts for the huge frequency of 4500 Hz they use in comparison to 20-30 Hz in every study?
Thank you very much for your videos. I have found them very helpful in choosing a device. I have purchased the Pulsetto. How many minutes/day and what intensity level did you start with? How quickly did you build up the minutes and/or intensity?
Thanks for the kind feedback! Personally I always start out new devices with the absolute lowest intensity for about a minute check for side effects. If no side effects then I start to slowly over a few days, increase intensity until I find the minimum intensity that increases my HRV. I usually leave the default time durations as is. Cheers!
@@HRVHackers Thank you Seva. I started with a lower intensity e.g. 1-3 and the default time. However, I think that I might go back to 1 intensity and less time to begin with e.g. 1 min and build up from there as you suggest. I didn't get any obvious side effects. However, my neck felt like what your muscles feel like when you have done a work out and you need to rest before doing more exercise. I also sometimes had a subtle headache. Is this something you have experienced? Do you use it more than once a day now?
You are welcome Rachel. I did experience a little bit of neck tension at the beginning yes. And yes I do use it more than once A-day. I think to get further advice about your specific case I would recommend you either contact the pulsetto team directly or join the pulsetto Facebook group. Cheers
What's your follow up with this. I also am getting no results from the ear stim. My HRV while sleeping with the Oura ring is stuck in the teens. I'd be ecstatic if I could get it up in the twenties. Has this device shown a sustained increase in your HRV?
Nice video. I've been using Pulsetto for a few days. So far so good. I have one question though. In 3:46 you use a software which measures LF/HF Ratio. Could you tell me the name of this software? Have you created a video about this software before?
I've used Pulsetto for three weeks and have zero change in HRV. I've experimented with different settings, duration, etc. It doesn't appear to work for me.
Hi, What type of VNS do you recommend for patients with Parkinsons Disease ? One that you are using - via the neck or another type that is clipped to the ear? Thanks
Thanks for the informative video. I have been following your presentations for a few months & became a subscriber. How do you know that at least for you the Pulsetto is more effective than a TENS unit for stimulating the vagus nerve?
@@HRVHackers I've also been using amofit and wearing it for several hours every day, but I haven't noticed any difference in terms of my physical sensation, Garmin Hrv, or Lief Hrv readings, as well as with my brainwave headband. Is it the same for you? I find it quite strange that some people can only tolerate it for a few minutes, but even though I've been using it for several hours every day, I haven't felt anything different.
Thank you for the video 🙏, any new conclusion after a year of using the device? Do you think this device can help with sleep and particular with waking up in the middle of the night?
This didn't work for me plus I can't stand devices that you need an app to use - makes me more stressed. The feel of the device around my neck made me feel panicked too. I had better luck with the Nurosym although you're better off using a TENS machine instead - they're much cheaper. Just check the settings - some TENS machines are too strong.
They both serve different purposes for me. When I want a quick and effective Vagus nervous stimulation - pulsetto. When I want a soothing feeling of vibration that's calming I use Apollo.
Any idea why in elite hrv my data seems completely random and useless? One measurement I have a LF/HF of 1.7 and in the next measurement it's 20, even though I've been doing deep breathing in the 2nd measurement which should increase parasympathetic activity...?
Is this a self contained unit or do you have to have a smart phone to use it? I only have a flip phone. Thanks for your videos. I have no problems with heart rate and BP at home, but as soon as I plan to go somewhere, my HR and BP rise, and in a doctor's office it is dangerously high. So, would the Pulsetto be the best to try?
Just now found out about this product, and the indiegogo campaign that's active right now. Really considering buying it. Was considering the sensate and the apollo neuro, but both are quite expensive plus I get added taxes and stuff when ordering to Europe (Sweden), plus I've seen especially with the sensate that many people have to send it back to get a replacement, which further stacks up the potential costs. Meanwhile, the pulsetto seems to be shipping from within Europe, right? Will have to check this out. But if this is true, and considering the cost, it might be my best bet. Although it's too clunky to have while sleeping, right? Which is something I was considering with the apollo neuro, because something seems to be happening when I sleep, considering how awful my pain and brain fog and everything (CFS for 14 years) is when I wake up. Any comments, HRV Hacker? :)
Yes I believe it's shipping from Europe, since they are a European company. I empathize with your CFS situation, been going through it for a few years now myself! I don't sleep with Pulsetto, you can use it before sleep to get your system more parasympathetic though
I've been using polar strap and elite hrv app and a polar watch for real time heartbeat tracking during the summer, and then lost motivation due to zero progress and also feeling a lot worse as soon as it starts getting colder in August-september - as always. Weird thing is though that my hrv is very difficult to get higher, and it didn't after a couple of months of taking care of myself, but yeah I could definitely pace myself better if I'm being honest - uts just so ingrained NOT to. But sure, share the resources, thanks. 😊
Yeah I can see how discouraging that could be to not see your HRV go up while you are trying different ideas to heal yourself. Here is a group to start with facebook.com/groups/829213261296558/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT
Hi thanks for your review, I have one more question regarding the gel. Do you know if I need to apply the gel every time or is it possible to use the device without the gel as I have reacted to gels with redness in the past.
I know that for rubber electrodes you can use just saline water or spit. For metal ones maybe there are some creams? For the best and safest answers you can try contacting them directly hello@pulsetto.tech
This looks like right side vagus nerve stimulation (as well as left) which was always seen to be risky. As it is a commercial product then I guess it is safe? I've tried the right side with my TENS after doing the left (with small stick on electrodes) and got really good results. Any thoughts?
Hey, I am trying to decide between Pulsetto and Truvaga. Is the cost the main reason to go for Pulsetto ($200 vs $300) ? Truvaga is not FDA approved, but it is made by the company behind gammaCore, which is FDA approved fo(but for medical/chronic conditions). So it seems that Truvaga might have a bit more credibility, what are you thoughts ?
I just got mine and tried for the first time I started with the default (5) intensity, it's really strong. Then I went to 1 intensity, it was still rather strong but bearable. Are my muscles supposed to twitch when using this? Maybe I am hypersensitive.
Yes it seems like you could be sensitive . the general suggestion is to try different modes on the lowest intensity for a very short time like just a couple of seconds. You can contact pulsetto team for more tips. Not medical advice ❤
I have gastroparesis, could this help me? I'm guessing no but do you happen to know of anything that may help? I appreciate your insight and loving your page!! Ty for all you do :)
From my understanding vagus nerve stimulation can help it, yes (of course not medical advice 🙂). Stanford was even doing a clinical trial about it stanfordhealthcare.org/trials/v/NCT03120325.html#:~:text=Patients%20with%20gastroparesis%20have%20what,and%20gastrointestinal%20motility%20problems%20in. My pleasure. Yeah give pulsetto or some of the other free techniques on my channel a try and hopefully you will start to make progress after a few weeks / months
How do you sleep with this thing on if you're a back sleeper? Wouldn't the part at the back of your neck bother you throughout the night? (especially if one already has trouble falling asleep)
Does it stimulate just the vagus nerve? I seem to accidentally hit my jugular, and WOWZA is it painful. Why is neck stem better than ear? does it reach everyones vagus nerve? Everyones anatomy is different.
Thank ya ☺️. I use both regularly so a tough choice. I'd say Apollo if you are interested in the extra soothing feeling of vibrations share.apolloneuro.com/x/sirAg5 . Otherwise pulsetto all the way!
Hello HRV Hacker, I randomly found this video. I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis, and I do get migraines/headaches. Anxiety and Depression and just general autonomic dysregulation from trauma. My neurologist mentioned Gammacore but I did eventually realize that it’s highly inaccessible like you said. It’s crazy they charge so much and that it’s in a “prescription” system. Not a fan of that format at all. So, I’m having an intuitive feeling that this could potentially work for me, and am considering purchasing the Pulsetto. A few people already asked but what have your results been lately after a while? A few other Qs, too: Is the chances of harm very low? I guess my anxiety is already activated knowing that something can go wrong. Also, I do suffer from insomnia pretty bad. Have you noticed any changes in sleep? Lastly, is there a return policy? Thanks!
For sleep I do a lot of things from this playlist so I don't use Pulsetto for that Improve Your Sleep: ua-cam.com/play/PLwvCrQ5q7HJJqSq8owBbwN9TQhukVn7df.html
Can you help me comparing Pulsetto and CES Ultra? I really don't know which one to buy, have you tried CES (Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation)? I've been recommended CES Ultra, which is ear stimulation but not the same as TENS.
I've tried Alpha Stim CES before it didn't help me. If I had to pick one I would choose the vagus simulator. Ideally you can try both of them, one at a time for a month to see which 1 helps you the most
Thanks bro, I'd like to know whether this device will help me. I've been suffering from a burnout (stress and anxiety etc) for about 6 months, symptoms include heart palpitations, fatgue etc possibly due to sympathetic system being on overdrive? And the cost of the device is a once off payment, not monthly right? Thanks
My pleasure! While I can't give specific medical advice it does sound like it would be worthwhile to investigate Pulsetto for stress and anxiety issues. And yes there is a one time payment option. Feel free to use code HRVHACKERS for a discount. Cheers
@@HRVHackers thanks, will grab it soon. BTW I also have the polar pacer watch, my hrv is about 40-50ms, is that ok?, my blood pressure however is nornal.
I would say its more efficient than Apollo or Sensate. The sessions with Pulsetto are only about 4-6 mins long. Amofit didn't work for me at all so I don't know
hello. do you know if they ship from within the european union of if there is an akternative from within the EU i am worried that it could get stopped at customs.
Lief, Apollo Neuro, and Pulsetto in no particular order. Check out my reviews of each and decide 😀 ua-cam.com/play/PLwvCrQ5q7HJKjvuno0sBLXGo9jaOkiqTR.html
Touchpoints are great but more limited in use as they have been proven for lowering cortisol. They are also good for low budget folks. Huso yeah tried a while ago... nothing. Maybe will try again at some point when price goes down
People should know the return policy is a joke. You have to ship it back to Lithuania at your cost, and they don't refund the original shipping cost. Hardly a "risk-free" trial since by the time you pay shipping both ways you won't get much back.
I contacted the co-founder Povilas about this. He said There is some confusion and return shipping should be covered. Please contact customer service about this and they should take care of it
Great video. What was your actual HRV right after using the device? You only showed the HF power at 1863, but not actual HRV numbers. What does that correspond to in terms of HRV? Would be interesting to see! Cheers
I just tried using it (at low powers) and I feel a sensation in my heart area while using it and after. This doesn't happen with tragus taVNS devices. Any suggestion? Thanks!
I would suggest checking with your doctor before proceeding. If they give you the go ahead then you can try some of the other stimulation modes at absolute lowest power for a very brief time periods like 15 seconds
I pwrsonally combine various techniques together. It depends on how sensitive your physiology is though. I have seen reports of people overstimulating their Vagus nerve by combining techniques, so be careful.
According to their Facebook group they recommend no more than 30 min to an hr. But some people are highly sensitive and can only tolerate 30 seconds... so proceed with caution
Hi there, recentrly GammaCore was approved for Chronic Maigraines? For that indication, It seems only the left Vagus Nerve shold be stimulated. Do you think Pulsetto could be used only on the left side if I cover the electodes on the right. Also, can you manually increase intensity in the device or do you need to use the preset settings? Than you
Yes you can adjust the settings via the app for Pulsetto. I haven't tried the idea of covering up electrodes but you're welcome to contact pulsetto and see what they say about that
I'm not sure what HX of Mis means. For blood pressure since the Vagus nerve helps in the process of blood pressure regulation that I would imagine that it would help. I would suggest contacting them hello@pulsetto.tech to get more definitive answers
History of myocardial infarction. If a patient is on bp meds, and you sell a unit to a person. There is a chance the bp medications combined will drop the np too low! That is the question.
is the app necessary? there’s option to buy only the device for ten bucks more with one time payment. for ten less we got to get the device plus the app but they will charge over 50 bucks every three months. what’s the deal here?
so i gave it a chance, fingers crossed it helps with my symptoms of constant fatigue and irritation. thanks for the promo code, it clips price a bit plus they have big 4th of july discount until tonight. waiting time due to high demand is huge tho, 3-4 weeks!
There isn't really a 'best' item because not everything works the same for everyone. It's a matter of finding what works for you. It's the same as medication. Find which devices have a trial period and go from there.
Pulsetto Is significantly more accessible affordable and better in every way. including that it comes with different treatment modes compared to one mode of Gammacore / Truvaga
@@HRVHackers If money is not an issue, which would you say. I'm leaning towards Truvaga as it's directly on the nerve and 2 minutes + reviews i've seen are pretty amazing. I hear you about this with diff treatment modes tho
Where do you see positive reviews for true Vaga? On their website? I never trust company websites --that's too easy to manipulate. I go by user feedback in Facebook groups. Pulsetto sits on the neck which gives it direct access to vagus nerve. I had much better results with pulsetto vs Gammacore. Up to you though, Maybe you'll respond better to true Vega
for those who are unaware, this is sponsored by pulsetto and he gets a commission for every purchase, so do your due diligence and take this video for a grain a salt
Copying and pasting my response to a similar comment from a while ago: "Lol, No, let me explain how this works. I pay for products with my own money (if not, I disclose that). If I think the product sucks then I do not become an affiliate, unlike many other youtubers who will promote anything to make some $$. Hope that clears it up!"
Yeah, I've noticed this video is used on the Indiegogo page. I'm surprised it got such a glowing review - it's largely disliked on the AVA page and other Vagus Nerve groups.
I see you have an Oura ring. Have you noticed any increases since starting to use it for your sleep HRV? That’s what I monitor Variability with so curious 🙏
I'm not the best person to ask about overnight readings since I'm still dealing with some chronic health issues post earlier infection. Chronic health issues = low nighttime HRV 😐. I try to focus on daytime HRV for now since I have far more control over that
@@HRVHackers My HRV was 17, and I had some similar issues (pots, autoimmune) etc. After 5 years of trial and error I got it up to 38 average. Not great but doubled my HRV from baseline. Things that I felt helped my HRV. High dose fish oil, Lifewave X39 & Aeon patches (these changed my life with many symptoms lessening), a magnetico under my bed, and chili cooling pad, CBD oil before sleep, and early am sunlight for 30 minutes upon awakening. I tested over $100,000 of health modalities but these moved the needle for me. I also now sleep over 8 hours a night and get proper deep sleep. All tracked on my Oura ring
Wow interesting, thanks for sharing. I will investigate and let you know the results if I try them. If you have any discount/ affiliate codes for those products pls let me know. Cheers!
@@HRVHackers The Lifewave patches do have an affiliate system. Since you asked I included my link at the bottom, much appreciated! I’ll be sure to grab my pulsetto from your link. Some more info about these. The founder figured out a way to use light frequencies to elevate peptides and heal the body. Think how when sunlight hits your skin, and it increases vitamin D. It plays on the same mechanism, using unique frequencies of light that they studied. There is a good bit of research and studies done on these product so I suggest you do a deep dive before trying it. And great talks on UA-cam about the science of each patch and what it does. These patches have be a game changer for me and provided me the most healing out of all $150,000 I spent in my health. I use 3 of them everyday and have tested all 9 of their different products. The 3 that made significant differences for me are happen to be their best sellers. X39 - Put my immune driven pain in remission. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called CRPS. I spent 5 years in a bed as the pain is that bad. Highest ranked disease on the McGill pain scale in terms of pain and the prognosis is horrible deterioration of the body and nervous system . I had doctors tell me I would never be able to walk again without intense pain. This patch put my pain in remission. I literally didn’t think it would work but was just trying everything as I couldn’t keep living in that State. Also this patch improved my HRV, and sleep quality. This is their most powerful and popular patch. Aeon - Lowers inflammation and calms the nervous system. Milder patch but still produces nice results. Glutathione - This patch made me so much more emotional resilient I believe by lowering oxidized stress. I can recover from stressful situations 3-4X faster and it got me out of my head in a hard to describe way. It also cut my mast cell activation down by 50%. Note I did get some detox for the first week on this patch. If you get a headache just remove and it’ll go away. Start again the next day. If you still get some detox I cut the patches up so i could start more slowly and then worked my way up. Here is my link: lifewave.com/limitless11/enrollment/packs I got started with the Bronze pack, which includes 2 different packs of patches you can choose which products test. Note the X39 cost more so if you choose that one it’ll only come with that single pack of patches unless you go with a bigger plan. Really hope these give you some relief! 🙏
Thanks for sharing your inspiring story Clayton. Really glad that you found something that helped you! I just ordered the x39 pack and will let you know if I notice any positive difference. Take care for now, and feel free to connect on Instagram if you use that (HRVHackers) - Seva

Touchpoints helped me with panic attacks. I'm not sure about adrenaline dumps... you could try it and see if it helps and return them if not?
Oh and a recommended video series on hacking POTS: Dr Sanjay Gupta "sleeping with the enemy"
@@HRVHackers yeah I probably will try it out, the adrenaline dumps come with quite some panic as well so I’m hoping it’s gonna help!
@@HRVHackers and I will check out that FB group, I do use my Garmin for pacing already. But I’m on propranolol as well so I could be overexerting myself without it reflecting in my HR. Thanks for the Gupta tip, I know about him but haven’t seen that video series yet
Do you have a update on pulsetto and if it was effective for you?
It’s a shame you need an app for this. They often sell data and can make an apparatus redundant. I also like to be disconnected from electronics when possible (also the source of my stress). Are there any neck alternatives without apps?
Same, I hate devices that use apps. I'm trying to limit my phone use too but everything needs a damn app these days. It's a really rubbish app too!
Any updates on results you have been getting, e.g. improvements overall and short term post a session, plateauing, etc that you can let us know? :)
I still continue to see short term increases in HRV when I use Pulsetto. Overall I don't expect to see miracles in terms of long term HRV until I get to the root of Chronic fatigue Syndrome. That said, the Overall feedback from my viewers is positive, and the amount of people that return the product is quite small
thanks. could you update again now? @@HRVHackers
The delivery was surprisingly fast to Miami. Already using it!❤

I'm not sure... maybe try contacting: hello@pulsetto.tech
Is this the same as applying the TENS unit to your neck
Absolutely not. Please don't do that
Have you tried stimulating only the left side with pulsetto as you would with a TENS unit?
Cheers
All.these little Gadgets actuslly work!
What's your follow up with this. I also am getting no results from the ear stim. My HRV while sleeping with the Oura ring is stuck in the teens. I'd be ecstatic if I could get it up in the twenties. Has this device shown a sustained increase in your HRV?
Depends on what you are dealing with
Nice video. I've been using Pulsetto for a few days. So far so good. I have one question though. In 3:46 you use a software which measures LF/HF Ratio. Could you tell me the name of this software? Have you created a video about this software before?
Yep it's called Elite HRV. Learn more here ua-cam.com/video/NGsWEXrd1zg/v-deo.html
I've used Pulsetto for three weeks and have zero change in HRV. I've experimented with different settings, duration, etc. It doesn't appear to work for me.
Hi,
What type of VNS do you recommend for patients with Parkinsons Disease ? One that you are using - via the neck or another type that is clipped to the ear?
Thanks
This is a great question for your doctor as I can't make medical advice recommendations
@@HRVHackers Thanks for the speedy response. Will ask my doc.
Thanks for the informative video. I have been following your presentations for a few months & became a subscriber. How do you know that at least for you the Pulsetto is more effective than a TENS unit for stimulating the vagus nerve?
Glad to have you join the HRVHackers crew! So far with tVNS I haven't noticed any increases in HRV or HF power, but with this device I am!
Thank you for the interesting video! Do you have any opinion on the Amofit S or their previous model? :)
Yeah I tried it and had no results, but worth a try as long as they are offering 30 days back guarantee
@@HRVHackers
I've also been using amofit and wearing it for several hours every day, but I haven't noticed any difference in terms of my physical sensation, Garmin Hrv, or Lief Hrv readings, as well as with my brainwave headband.
It certainly could! although midnight wake-ups are admittedly the toughest to solve amongst sleep challenges
What is your favorite- Apollo neuro or Pulsetto actually ? Which does help you more ? Thank you 🙂
They both serve different purposes for me. When I want a quick and effective Vagus nervous stimulation - pulsetto. When I want a soothing feeling of vibration that's calming I use Apollo.
Any idea why in elite hrv my data seems completely random and useless?
One measurement I have a LF/HF of 1.7 and in the next measurement it's 20, even though I've been doing deep breathing in the 2nd measurement which should increase parasympathetic activity...?
helllo. Which facebook page did you recommend, about vagus, i can not find it. thank you.
@HRVHackers pulsetto do you think it can help to reduce postural tachycardia (POTS)? Which device do you think can be more effective?
Thanks
Yeah that would be a good choice because Vagus nerve stimulators have been shown to be helpful. It will unlikely be a magic pill though
You will need a smartphone. Check out Verelief instead ua-cam.com/video/6vIcX4ZHxfI/v-deo.html
Is there any in depth comparison between the pulsetto and ear vagus stimulation?
so this, neurosym or another vagal stimulator? looking for ONE video where choices are compared....
Does it help with Vestibular migraine
If you have a way to monitor Heart Rate / HRV I can give you some Facebook resources that helped me with CFS
Does it matter which side of the neck the light is on?
Will this help with tension headaches as the result of a stroke?
Hey, have you continued using this? Just wondering what (if any) kind of benefits you've noticed longer-term.
Yep I'm using it. It's one of my tools, after Lief, to help keep anxiety minimal
Was that high frequency, power monitoring through the Pulsetto app?
Do you think this could be used for better sleep, specifically longer deep sleep?
This looks like right side vagus nerve stimulation (as well as left) which was always seen to be risky. As it is a commercial product then I guess it is safe? I've tried the right side with my TENS after doing the left (with small stick on electrodes) and got really good results. Any thoughts?
My functional practitioner recommended this to me. She has years of experience. I'm sure its safe if used correctly.
Pulsetto was made with HRV in mind. Gamecore is focused more on curing migraine headaches. I've tried both and pulsetto is far more effective.
I just got mine and tried for the first time
I started with the default (5) intensity, it's really strong.
Hi is this similar to like a High Intensity Interval exercise training stimulation on the vagus nerve in any way comparable…somehow?
I don't think so because you are activating the parasympathetic nervous system with the device
I have gastroparesis, could this help me? I'm guessing no but do you happen to know of anything that may help? I appreciate your insight and loving your page!! Ty for all you do :)
From my understanding vagus nerve stimulation can help it, yes (of course not medical advice 🙂). How do you sleep with this thing on if you're a back sleeper? Wouldn't the part at the back of your neck bother you throughout the night? (especially if one already has trouble falling asleep)
You don't sleep with it you use it before bed
@@HRVHackers gotcha. Thanks for the response!
Can you tell us more about the symphetatic nervous system activation you mentioned when putting it too high?
It's the fight or flight Branch of the nervous system. We don't want it activated too much during this kind of vagal stimulation
But why would it be activated if you are stimulating the vagus nerve no matter the frequency? That’s not physiological. Sounds like BS
Yeah Ooooook
If you want to risk it and fry your Vagus nerve then that's your choice
Seriously, can you explain that? How would a change in frequency affect the sympathetic nervous system through the vagus nerve? What am I missing?
Does it stimulate just the vagus nerve? I seem to accidentally hit my jugular, and WOWZA is it painful. Why is neck stem better than ear? does it reach everyones vagus nerve? Everyones anatomy is different.
Yes that's the idea it does stimulate the Vagus nerve
Hi. Great video. Question: If I could only have one device, would you recommend Apollo or Pulsetto? Thanks!
Thank ya ☺️. I use both regularly so a tough choice. I'd say Apollo if you are interested in the extra soothing feeling of vibrations share.apolloneuro.com/x/sirAg5 . Otherwise pulsetto all the way!
Thank you!! It’s to support chronic stress, anxiety, and sleep issues (and inflammation). Cheers.
Hope one of them helps!
Hi again. I just learned about Touchpoints from you videos. Now I’m more confused as to which one to buy!
Honestly they are all great. I would just trial one at a time and see which one helps. They all have a money back guarantee
A few other Qs, too:
Is the chances of harm very low? I guess my anxiety is already activated knowing that something can go wrong.
Also, I do suffer from insomnia pretty bad. Have you noticed any changes in sleep?
Lastly, is there a return policy?
Thanks!
My results so far with everything I'm doing, including Pulsetto is a lower heart rate throughout the day, so less symptoms.
For the latest return policy you can check the FAQ section on their indiegogo page
To minimize your risk of harm always start with the absolute lowest intensity for a very small time duration and monitor your body's reaction.
For sleep I do a lot of things from this playlist so I don't use Pulsetto for that Improve Your Sleep: ua-cam.com/play/PLwvCrQ5q7HJJqSq8owBbwN9TQhukVn7df.html
How does it compare to the Apollo Neuro?
Totally different, Apollo is vibrations this is electrical stimulation. I use both to stimulate the vagus in different ways
Shouldn’t the LF/HF ratio go down instead of up?
How are you measuring those stats you mention ?
Can you help me comparing Pulsetto and CES Ultra? I really don't know which one to buy, have you tried CES (Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation)? I've been recommended CES Ultra, which is ear stimulation but not the same as TENS.
I've tried Alpha Stim CES before it didn't help me. If I had to pick one I would choose the vagus simulator. Ideally you can try both of them, one at a time for a month to see which 1 helps you the most
I do not own a smart phone so is this not something I can use?
Thanks bro, I'd like to know whether this device will help me. I've been suffering from a burnout (stress and anxiety etc) for about 6 months, symptoms include heart palpitations, fatgue etc possibly due to sympathetic system being on overdrive?
And the cost of the device is a once off payment, not monthly right? Thanks
My pleasure! While I can't give specific medical advice it does sound like it would be worthwhile to investigate Pulsetto for stress and anxiety issues. And yes there is a one time payment option. Feel free to use code HRVHACKERS for a discount. Cheers

I'm actually currently testing out the gammacore rn and when I talked to their reps they said either side of the neck works the same.

I would think yes since the way they stimulate the Vagus nerve is so similar. You can always just try it and return it if it doesn't work.

What about patients w neurophysiological defecet from a hx of MIs? Patients on BP meds.... what's the feedback on that?

What are your thoughts vs truvaga? Didn’t hear you mention or compare them
Pulsetto Is significantly more accessible affordable and better in every way. including that it comes with different treatment modes compared to one mode of Gammacore / Truvaga
Also the user feedback has been very positive for pulsetto and so-so for gamma core / Truvaga

I usually don’t give mine out as I know some people can be turned off by that, and I really want people to give it a try and hopefully improve.

I got started with the Bronze pack, which includes 2 different packs of patches you can choose which products test.
Are yoy continuing to use the device? What do you think now, a year later?
Yes love it. And they keep adding new modes with different frequencies for different health conditions
