#apolloneuroreview #sensatereview
[2024 update] Both the Apollo Neuro and Sensate Pebble 2 claim to increase your heart rate variability (HRV), and Stimulate your Vagus Nerve. I put these claims to the test using a medical grade ECG / HRV monitor from Lief Therapeutics. I also review the usability of each wearable and help you decide if the Apollo neuro or sensate pebble is worth it.

This didn't work for me plus I can't stand devices that you need an app to use - makes me more stressed. The feel of the device around my neck made me feel panicked too. I had better luck with the Nurosym although you're better off using a TENS machine instead - they're much cheaper. Just check the settings - some TENS machines are too strong.

The hapbee is not fully a con. It truly gives out pulsed magnetic frequency into you which CAN effect your cells and brain. The problems are 1.weakness of the magnetic strength means it depth of penetration and effect is very weak and 2.the placement of the magnets on the skull that are near that part of the brain. This is why I am doubtful that this is strong enough and accurate enough to produce much, if any, effects. There was a similar device about 8 years ago which was even weaker(I think), more limited and also innacurately placed which the hapbee reminds me of), by comparison the hapbee is 20 times better. However then you must compare it with the omnipemf which is hugely more powerful and far more accurate to place to effect the body or brain where needed. Magnets, especially pulsed electro magnets have been proved to reduce pain, inflammation and speed healing and also effect insomnia, depression, anxiety and compulsions, the difficulty is getting the accuracy on the body and the power of the pulsing, when used in hospitals for depression the power and accuracy is massively greater than a £300 home wearable.

Hi all! 12 years ago I had an accident where I slipped in the corner of my bathtub and hit the front of my neck. On the same evening following the accident I started having these intense tachycardias that wouldn’t pass. Like a constant state of panic that can’t get better no matter what. I’ve been to many hospitals, doctors and they only checked my thyroid and the heart which are all healthy. They can’t find the reason for my problem. The issue persists and I’m constantly in the emergency room with tachycardias for which they prescribed me beta blockers to manage my symptoms. But I highlight that they don’t know what’s wrong. Cardiologists said the tachycardia is not caused by the heart. I had a psychiatric assessment as well, and the doctor prescribed me with a small dose of paroxetine which alleviated the symptoms of intense fear and anxiety/panic a bit. Before that I was in a constant state of panic, which was for no reason. Before that accident, I had never experienced panic in my life… and it all happened right after this accident. The same day. Meanwhile, since last year (I was still on paroxetine at the time) I started having severe tachycardia after eating. I can’t eat anymore properly due to this. It’s not a food allergy as it happens with every possible type of food. I don’t recognise myself. Can this whole issue be related to vagus nerve damage following the neck accident? I’m trying to do my own research on this as I haven’t gotten any answers from doctors, they just don’t know why this is happening. And it’s debilitating.

You put an affiliate referral link for which you get paid before you had completed your trial to determine its effectiveness beyond the 2 weeks. Now 1 yr plus later there's no updated review but the affiliate link is still there. I think you're unlikely to update with a negative review if you're still making money from the referrals, is that correct? You diminish your credibility and it doesn't go unnoticed. :/

Moreover apparently this gadget also stimulates the right nerve which should not be done and it's not me who says it, it's a Swiss neurologist professor and researcher who carried out the first tests on rats and humans .

This looks like right side vagus nerve stimulation (as well as left) which was always seen to be risky. As it is a commercial product then I guess it is safe? I've tried the right side with my TENS after doing the left (with small stick on electrodes) and got really good results. Any thoughts?
