I ended up making this too late in the day so after the 4 stretch and folds, I oiled it and stuck it in the fridge overnight to proof. I also reduced the sugar to 2 teaspoons instead of 2 tablespoons. This bread is the most perfect loaf I’ve made since starting to make bread 🎉 so soft!!

I mixed Half Honey and half of sugar but followed the your recipe other than that. The door look great coming out of the proofing box. It rolled out nice and is now proofing bread pans. So far it looks and feels like a winner!😃

I made this today. It's been cooling for an hour and have just cut a few slices - and eaten the crust with butter - couldn't resist. Beautiful breads made by a beautiful person. I've been milling my own grains for 5 years now, and have been baking something quite close to your recipe. Have you ever tried using the Yudane method which softens the bran, sweetens the overall loaf, allows for higher hydration and longer shelf life [if it is ever needed] all without any added ingredients? I've incorporated the Yudane method into most of my bakes as it takes so little effort to take a small portion of the flour and add 2 or 3 times that weight in Boiling Water, mix, let cool, add to the rest of the dough.
That's fantastic that you're making your own flours! I will be doing breads that use yudane and tangzhong in future videos. I haven't personally done much with those methods, and I’m looking forward to experimenting with them!

@@emmasgoodies Thanks! Oh and a tip with honey; I tend to use local honey, that might be worth looking for especially in the US since sometimes you don't know where it came from if you just buy from the grocery store. Besides I'd rather support my local beekeepers. :)

Hi Patti!💕 You can certainly make bread from sprouted grains at home. There’s a fair amount of work involved, to sprout the grains and grind them etc. I’d recommend you search for - sprouted Ezekiel bread recipe.
I made the Bread from your last video and it was great in fact I have made it 3 times and always had a great tasty Bread. So I'm differently going to try this one But not to night, I will have to go shopping first (No Whole Wheat Flour)

Yes absolutely! Make my white sandwich bread but try to find an all purpose flour that has at least 10% protein content. 11 even better!
